Oakfeather bristled, feeling the need to protect his adopted sister, but said nothing. "I'm going for a walk," he grumbled, standing up. He cringed, but didn't complain, brushing past both is mate and Dreamsplash. __ "You're also hurtful a lot." Sabletail hissed, tail tip twitching. "And confusing."

Wolfstar lifted his head, confused. He didn't remember falling asleep on High Rock, and his mate was nowhere to be seen. Perplexed, he rose, eyes scanning the camp to see if there was anything important he'd missed. The only thing noticable was the absence of Adderstrike's body. ~ Limefeather's paws were bleeding when she walked into camp, as was her heart. She'd buried her mate herself, alone, wanting a private ceremony purely for the closure. He was gone, and was not coming back. Ever. Still unable to wrap her mind around this, she slid into Dreamsplash's den, waiting for her torn claws to be treated. ~ Oakfeather was silently cursing himself, sprawled out near the entrance to the camp. He was bleeding again, his persuit of a rabbit tearing open his half-healed wounds. Considering calling for help, he decided it would be foolish, instead choosing to lay outside the camp, bleeding, alone. ~ Snakepaw was lounging in the sun, still feeling perversly amused that he'd dragged Wishcomet all the way to his stream to just grab some fresh kill. He dragged his tongue over his scratches gently, the taste of his own blood metallic and salty in his mouth. The band around his leg glinted in the sunlight. ~ {Poppypaw = nothing to do with. :I} ~ Sabletail was nibbling on a thrush, not really hungry, but her stomach grumbled complaints anyhow. She had her blind eyes trained on the camp entrance as she ate, as if waiting for someone to return. ~ Lionfur prodded Windrush playfully. "We've slept in long enough, silly. Wake up; we've got to do something today or Cougarfeather and Wolfstar will have our heads."

Windrush sighed, but heaved himself to his paws and shook out his fur, "I'm pretty sure I could sleep for days." he said with a laugh. __ Dreamsplash padded into her den after jsut eating a mouse, "hey there Limefeather, wh ydon't you just treat yourself, I have to look for Oakfeather, He took off this morning and he's nowhere to be found in camp." __ ((To hot to rp *faispalm*)) |

Feralwind padded into camp, a trush in his jaws. He had gone hunting in hoped to clear his head, but he had been to distracted to even hunt properly. he dropped his lone catch on the feshkill pile and padded to the area where he used to always sit with Sabletail, laying down with a heavy sigh. __ Wishcomet sat down beside Snakepaw, "so did you ever find out what that thing is?" she asked, referring to the band on his ankle. ((*sigh* its so hard to not Type Adderstrikes post XD)) |

"That wouldn't be very good though," Lionfur chuckled, licking the fur on her chest feverishly. "Come on. I'm getting fat just sitting around, you know!" __ "Loosing your patients?" Limefeather replied, voice devoid of any of its usual attitude. "It's fine. A few torn claws never killed anyone." She stood up and shook out her dirty fur. "I should probably go down to the stream and clean off." __ "No," Snakepaw said with a shrug. "It doesn't hurt. It's just kind of there... so I don't really care. It was probably some sort of Two-leg trap gone wrong or something." He stretched out. "Did you ever find out what that thing is?" he teased, pointing with is tail to her face. __ Sabletail yawned and stood up, looking around for Moonsong or Cougarfeather. She needed someone to talk to.

"I agree," Snakepaw said, purring. His tail curled, the golden tip flickering back and forth. "So. What're we going to do now?" ~ "With Oakfeather?" Limefeather muttered with a sigh. "Not really. He's fine if you're assertive with him. And by assertive I mean give him a good cuff on the ear. It was Chestnutclaw that was the problem, always wandering off..." She paused, voice quieter. "Chestnutclaw was always the problem." ~ "Yes, but you'd give half the Clan a heart attack. We'd think you were in some sort of Coma or something," Lionfur pointed out. "That, and I'm sure you'd be pretty hungry."

He just doesn't get along well with cats who have higher authority than he does." Limefeather offered a ghost of a smile; the first she'd showed since her mate's death. "You don't deserve anything, Dreamsplash. No cat deserves anything that's been happening lately..." Her throat tightened, and she was unable to speak anymore. Adderstrike didn't deserve to die. __ "I could name a few things," Snakepaw said idly, winking at her.

"StarClan is always silent when needed most," Limefeather said, voice twisting into an angry snarl. "StarClan is worthless. They are useless." Standing up, she sniffed and nodded at Dreamsplash. "Good day to you." She left, then, crawling back to her hide-out in the Elder's den. { LOL }
