Wolfstar hopped down from the highrock, eyes sparkling with ancient wisdoms beyond his time. He glanced at Dreamsplash for a moment, twitching his whiskers. "You'll make a great Medicine Cat one day; after Limefeather pas ses on. Which I hope isn't too soon." He looked at the elder medicine cat in amusement. She only nodded blankly back.

Snakepaw was laying in the shadows, paws tucked under him. His eyes glowed in the darkness, and his tail tip twitched back and forth very slowly, like he was about to leap onto a mouse. Always be aware, Tigerstar had told him. And watch who you care about. Keep it down to one cat at most.

A wry smile formed on Snakepaw's face. He didn't care about anyone, and nobody cared about him. So he was all good.

Poppypaw purred loudly, congratulating everyone. Her eyes sparkled happily, as they always did. Ceremonies cheered her up and made her feel light and fluttery, like a feather. It was a good feeling. 

She yawned, and strode over to sit next to Feralwind.

Sablepaw was silent as the ceremony ended, and only listened as everyone started moving around. Her ears flicked with all the different conversations going on; she was starting to get a little bit of a headache.

Oakfeather yawned and stretched out, tail tip flicking gently. He padded over to Cougarfeather and Moonsong. Nodding his head in greeting, he smiled, but his mind was somewhere else. he was busy worrying silently.

Lionpaw stretched out her glistening golden body, and purred gently to herself. She was a Clan cat now; her mentor was Moonsong. All sorts of different thoughts coursed through her, but she pushed them all away.

Dreamsplash purred, "thank you Wolfstar." she said, blue eyes glistening. She glanced pointedly at Limefeather with a look that said, we wont have to wait that long before you are gone. She knew Limefeatehr's secret. And she was thinking the first cat she would tell would be Snakepaw.

Feralwind glanced down at Poppypaw, "Hello." he purred, "how are you?"

Moonsong purred loudly, "Lionpaw eh? Arent you a little old to be a apprentice?" she tesed lightly.

Adderstrike lay in the sun, his injured leg growing warm.  His grey tail thumped the ground softly and he stretched his legs, his claws momentarily showing.

Cougarfeatehr tilted her head and looked at Oakfeather, "why are you so happy?" she asked, wrapping her tail around her paws.

Wishpaw padded over to Snakepaw, purringhappily, "can you believe it? Dreasplash finaly got her Medicine Cat name!" she meowed excitedly.

Windpaw watched Snakepaw warily, something was....off about the other apprentice, and he didnt like it.

Poppypaw smiled. "I'm good. How are you, Feralwind?"

Wolfstar nodded, and padded away to go sit in his den.

Limefeather, just standing there, nearly had a heart attack. She spun around and dashed into her den with wide eyes. She had to tell Adderstrike that Dreamsplash knew.

Lionpaw headbutted Moonsong gently, and playfully. It showed her collar again. "I won't be for long though," she purred. "Wolfstar says that I'm already the best hunter and fighter I can be,"

Oakfeather chuckled lightly. "Why shouldn't I be? Today is another glorious day given to us by StarClan," He added with a modest smile, "That, and I just ate a couple mice."

Snakepaw nodded, looking up at her with fathomless eyes. "That's great."

Cougarfeatehr watched Oakfeatehr with a confused ex
pression, "uh huh." was all she could say, "care to say what you are really thinking?" she asked.

Moonsong gave her chest fur a quick lick, "so you just have to learn the ways of the Clan then?" she asked, "that shouldnt be very hard!" she meowed optimistically.

Wishpaw twitched her whiskers, "well you don't seem as excited about this as the rest of us are." she said.

___

Adderstrike sat up abruptly when Limefeather rushed in, "woah woah WOAH! Where's the fire?" he teased lightheartedly.

Feralwind shrugged, "Okay I guess. I'm just trying to figure out Sablepaw. She doesnt seem to happy, I'm thinking about bringing it up to Cougarfeather." he said.

___

Dreamsplash padded toward the edge of camp, debating when to tell Snakepaw. Her blue gaze rested deviously on the small, black, tom.

Oakfeather smirked at her teasingly. "Not really, no."

Lionpaw nodded, smiling.

______

Snakepaw shrugged. "I dunno. Bad fresh kill I guess; just not into this evening." He stood up, shaking out his fur. "I'm gonna go for a walk. See you later, Wishpaw." He walked past her, deliberately pressing his fur against her as he walked by. 

He padded out of camp, and by Dreamsplash, without another glance backwards.

Limefeather looked at him, heart pounding in her chest. "Dreamsplash knows," she panted, ignoring his teasing. "She knows all about it. How could you tell her? You promised!" Her eyes were starting to water.

Poppypaw looked at him like he was stupid. "Why would you care what Sablepaw's feeling? She's not your apprentice!" With an annoyed look, she stood up and walked away from him.

Feralwind blinked in suprise, "what was that about?" he wondered aloud.

Wishpaw purred, "bye Snakpaw!" She said, padding to the Apprentice's den for a short nap.

Adderstrike tilted his head, "huh? I havent left your den since you told me! and She's never in here!" he said defensively.

___

Dreamsplash spun and followed Snakepaw, "you know." she said, catching up, "Apprentice's arent allowed out of camp by themselves anymore." she said.

Cougarfeather chuckled, "and why is that?" she asked.

___

Moonsong let her gaze sightlessly around the camp, "so, do you find and SwiftClan tom's to your taste?" she asked teasingly.

((I think Windpaw and Wishpaw should be made warriors early! >:D or at least Windpaw! his skills are ahmazin xD))

Limefeather sighed, sitting down next to him. She ignored it as her tail brushed against him. "Adderstrike; she's gotten her Medicine cat name." She slowed  her voice. "She. Can. Take. My. Role. Now."

Snakepaw shrugged, keeping tabs on her location. "I saw you staring at me," he said briskly. "So I as sumed there was something you needed to tell me?" His eyes met her's for less than a second.

Oakfeather winked, "You might not like it." He smiled, kneading the ground with his paws.

________

Lionpaw blushed a little, but shook her head. "No," she said. "Doesn't seem anyone's taken a like to me either, though."

________

Sablepaw stood up, and nearly fell over. She had a headache, and it was making her right ear hurt. Which was obviously making her loose her balance. She shrugged it off and started to wobble over to apprentice's den with a frown.

Wishpaw watched Sablepaw with concern, "are you okay?" she asked.

Moonsong laughed, "as far as you know! You never know with these guys! it's impossible to tell who likes who. Except for Adderstrike. Before Finchtail disappeared, he followed her like a dog follows a twoleg!' she purred.

Cougarfeather shrugged, "try me." she said, getting more and more curious with each p*censored*ing moment.

___

Dreamsplash's whiskers twitched in amusement, "you are smarter than you look Snakepaw. In fact, I do have something to tell you. I know where your mother is. In fack." she trailed off thoughtfully for a moment, "she's a lot closer than you think."

Adderstrike's eyes widened, "which would explain why she kept the secret after you told me about it.!' he hissed. He rose to his paws, his injured one throbbing slightly, but not as badly as the previous day, "what can we do?" he asked.

Limefeather looked at him with a weakly amused ex
pression. "You can rest," she said gently, getting to her feet. "There's nothing to do but wait."

Sablepaw turned her head towards her, startled. "Huh? Ugh, yeah. I'm okay." She blinked.

Lionpaw's whiskers twitched in amusement. "But, still." She meowed. "None of the toms have even spoken to me." She frowned. "I think it's my collar."

Oakfeather chuckled lightly. "Naw. I still don't think I want to." His whiskers twitched. "Perhaps you should convince me."

(( Snakepaw reminds me of a small, pale black-haired kid with creepy bright green eyes and the most blood-curling quiet, creepy voice you can imagine. XD ))

Snakepaw stiffened and froze automatically. The emotions he'd carefully buried in the back of his mind rushed over him in a flood. He finally choked out, "Where...is she?" His eyes were fathomless as he pictured curling up with his mother, her rasping her tongue over his ears as she gave him advice and talked. Being loved. He shoved the thoughts away.
