Colt was a little surprised when Layla cuddled up to him but he didn't show it, he just closed his eyes and purred. For the future he didn't want anything else but Layla and her happiness, that's all that really mattered. He opened his eyes and studied the clouds, it seemed like a storm was beginning, which meant rain for the afternoon. He sighed deeply, his eyes shining with remembrance. Something seemed very odd but he couldn't quite place it. "Hey, Layla. We should get going. Don't wanna get stuck out in the bad weather" he told her softly, rubbing his head against hers before getting up onto his paws. He stretched a bit and then looked at her. "Where do you want to go now?"

She had hoped Colt would catch at her hint, but apparently he didn't. She sighed a bit but continued loving on him. She smiled and wanted to go back home now. It was getting darker and she hated bad weather, and especially while she was out in it. She rubbed her head on his one last time and stood up. She began to pad off toward her box. Something inside her made her sad. She hoped Colt wanted kittens too She would be devastated if he didn't.
