Power(s): She can control water and Shapeshift (because of this, she can talk to animals). On a side note, as a mermaid, her waterbending power is stronger. Her final power is being able to, whatever she draws, have it come to life. The downside is that she cannot make animals come to life.

Personality: Avalia is very quiet and withdrawn,prefering to keep to herself rather than talk tooter people. However, she loves her twin to death and would do anything for her twin. She loves drawing and can often be seen with her sketchbook. Her other favorite pastime is running. If you get to know her, she is a very loyal friend who always seems to know what's wrong when you are sad.

Avalia awoke with a start and uncurled herself from the bed she was sleeping on top of. She sheathed her claws and began the strange change from cat to human. The fur slurped back into her body and changed to pale pink skin. Her ears slid down her head and hair, black has night, crawled from her head. Her eyes widened and the pupils rounded, becoming less slitted. The tail attached her skin dissapeared back into her body. little brown freckles apeared all over her body, especially around her nose. Finally, her face lost the snout and became normal.

The girl yawned showing two rows of white teeth. Not really as herbivorous as most humans, but still normal enough that nobody thought twice about it. She stretched her arms above her head and pulled off her pjs as she walked over to her dresser. She fumbled with the dresser drawers, getting them open only after she realized that she was pushing instead of pulling. Her wardrobe consisted of a plethora of blue and green.

Avalia pulled on her clothing and finished dressing by putting a sweatshirt on over her blue and white shirt. Wandering downstairs, she found her mom, gave her a light kiss on the cheak, and sat down to eat her waffles. The waffles quickly dissapeared off her plate and, glancing at the clock, Avalia's eyes widened and she ran from the door. Her schedule was left lying on the table, something she had forgotten in her moment of rush. After all, it was 5 minutes till school started.

"Thank you, ma'am." Avalia said, gratefully taking a new schedule. She glanced at her classes, something she hadn't done even thoguh her first one came 6 weeks ago.

Not the ones that are like bulleting all the classes, the ones in parenthesis.
And, is this a school or boarding school because first you said its a school and then you said she had a dorm.
If it does have dorms, then can it be a school where some stay in dorms and some go home after classes and come back the next day like normal school? Because I wrote this intro and then realized your charactar had a dorm and I don't feel like rewriting D:

I was late. My alarm has been put on snooze for 20 minutes now, and I knew I was going to be missing class if I didn't shift to something else faster.
I quickly changed clothes, messed with my hair, and grabbed my bag.
"I'm leaving!"
I screamed loud enough for my mother and little sister to hear. She was too young for school and didn't have powers like I did.
Before I could hear a response I left the door. I started for a run since I didn't have a car yet and when I took the short cut in the woods, I quickly shifted to a fox and ran as fast as I could.

I got to the school much faster then I would have as my human self. I had my clothes and backpack on my back as a fox so I wouldn't get caught without any clothes when I shifted back. I stayed in the forest when I shifted back to my old self, and quickly put my clothes back on before walking to the parking lot of the school that was right next to the woods. Running a hand through my messy black hair, I gripped my bag and started walking to the front entrance.

After I got my schedule, I went to my locker 245. My schedule was:

Healing was my favorite power, and very addicting. Everytime I saw a animal hurt, I would go straight to it and make it better. I guess it just made me feel significant. So the last class would most likely be my favorite.
An announcement came through the speakers in some corners of the walls in the hallway I was in. It was reminding the students of orientation that was in less then five minutes. I quickly put my backpack in my locker, and started toward the direction where I guessed orientation should be.

((Well, I really like dorms, but if you want it to be that is fine, of course, there are lockers in dorm school. The numbers are 1st period, 2nd period, 3rd period, etc.))

Avalia slid into the school uniform and walked down the stairs to where the map said the observetory was. The u niform felt unatural with all its little designs. It was just too eccentic for her and she vowed to find a loophole in the rules that you had to wear them. As she pushed open the door of the observetory, she slammed into a boy going tohe same way and fell backwards. Wrinkling her nose, she stood up and wiped herself off, giving a little grol to the boy. She spun around and walked to a seat on the opposite end of the hall where all the girls seems to be sitting. Then she noticed in horror that the only seat not filled... was the one right next to her...

As I walked inside the observetory, I felt a bump behind me. I frowned as I turned around to see if the person behind me was alright. Seeing it was a girl I was a bit nicer, using my accent even stronger to show my sincerity. If it was a guy I expected to hear a 'watch it' or something alone those lines, so I would atleast be a bit on the rude side back.
I started with,
"I'm so sorry, miss. I'm to blame. Are you-"
I watched as she walked away. She must not have understood that I was the one she ran into, so she didn't pay any attention.
I usually would have stayed to myself, but she didn't hear my apology. Back in Englad, we had a much bigger respect for ladies such as herself. [Atleast in my imagination they do<3]
So, knowing this, I chose to sit in the empty seat next to her. I sat down, and did a crooked smile in her direction. Again, I said,
"So sorry for that fall, I shouldn't have been standing in front of the door stupidly the way I was. Are you alright? That was a rough fall..."

Seeing that she could have been in a bad mood, I didn't push on the subject.
"As long as your alright..."
I mumbled before looking at the principal. As I listened to her introduce herself, I saw movement from the corner of my eye. I turned and watched the girl take out a sketch book and drew what looked like a demon.
I did a small chuckle and shook my head.
"What's that supposed to be?"
I asked, pointing to the paper.
