I was confused. I had woken up from the loud speakers. The words still ringing in my ears.
"Wait. Avalia? What's going-"
That's when I realized the spikes were coming our way. They looked deadly, just waiting to cut my body in half in one move. I started for a run forward, dodging them. I kept repeating in my head what the speaker said, about how you don't want to fail.
Just knowing that motivated me.

I finished just a couple moments after Avalia. And before we could take a breath, the next test began. Making my ears in pain.
"Great..."
I mumbled as everything went to slow motion. I would have had time to enjoy something so cool - who wouldn't be astonished with slow motion? - but I was too worried about the stones slamming us down. I didn't really understand why these tests were so important, but again, I was motivated not to fail. So I didn't care about the reason. The rocks that were falling - slowly - ontop of me I kept 'dodging' before they actually touched me by punched them out of the way.

Just knowing what the third test was called made me frightened. Before I knew it, a bright light blinded my eyes and when I was able to see again, I was in a desert. I saw Avalia with me and I felt only  a bit more relief.
Being alone or two people - was the same thing.
And could end the same also.
I read the oasis over her shoulder again and again, not believing. [The oasis is what said that ^^ right? ]
"Fourteen days? Just because we were talking during orientation?"
I said before rubbing my temples and finally looked back at Avalia.
"Do you know anything about survival?"
I knew we'd figure something out, especially since we could both shapeshift into something faster to find food and shelter, but I was still worrying.

I would say he would shapeshift into something faster so he could sniff something out like I said before, but I dunno what kinds of foods there are. ]]

Avalia was right about the milk and such. Atleast someone knew a little something about surviving.
"Alright. I'll go find something."
I said hopefully as I started for a run in the opposite direction of her. Just when I was about to shapeshift into a wolf - to see what smelled... Edible - a snake slivered by me. It wasn't a rattle snake, but I wasn't an expert on non poisonous and poisonous snakes.
I risked it though, by quickly running for it and grabbing it by it's kneck. I shapeshifted then, into the wolf, but this time, just to kill the thing. After it was ripped in two, I went back to my human form and walked back to where I was in the beginning as I waited for Avalia.
When I got there, I saw pineapple in a tree. How could I have missed that before?
I set the dead snake on the ground as I climbed up and grabbed the pineapples.
