Now he had made her doubt his humanity for the third or fourth time- she'd lost count.
Rosselyn took her gun out from her shorts, aiming it towards the man in front of her. She wasn't shaking at all, but it was easy to tell that her trigger finger was twitching- not with anticipation, but with dread. She didn't want to shoot this guy. Even if he was a vampire, he seemed halfway decent.
Still, the church had a rule that said if at all possible, any vampires encountered were to be eliminated.
"I'm asking you straightforward," she said, her voice not changing its tone- another hint as to how she most likely wouldn't shoot him. "Are you human? You don't drink water, you drug me away from there, and I seriously doubt you're drunk."
Her red eyes examined him, scrutinizing him from head to toe, looking especially close at his mouth, searching for any signs of fangs.

He laughed a little by her question. "I'm human, what eles would I be, a vampire?" his chuckle turned to a laugh. "I'm human of course, I never drink water because look at my condition, I'm- I'm drunk, that's what I met." he laughed and collapsed back on the couch.. He rubbed his head and then his mouth. "Your gonna be fine any way's, I'm not gonna hurt you, I wont let them get ya neither..." he said. "I could get you back where you came from then I could find your dog... You'd be safer th-their..."

Rosselyn bit her lip hard, actually tasting blood as the man excused himself. Great. She'd made herself look like a homicidal psycho. Either way, she'd probably never see this man again. She put her gun away slowly, keeping an eye on the man as he collapsed back into the couch.
"My dog's probably already home by now. He's a smart, big boy. He could probably do damage to any hungry vampire, but if he was outnumbered, he'd be killed. Still, I'm sure he's fine. He's a stealthy little thing." She leaned against the wall, sliding down into a sitting position.
"I'm sorry for drawing the gun on you, sir. I'm just... very wary of strangers. I've never been bitten, and I'd like to keep it that way. Plus, vampires are so good at hiding their identity that you would never know what species someone is..."

He chuckled and looked at her with a slight thirsty look. "I know... I've had an.. Encounter With one.... Luckily, I killed her before she had bitten me.." he explained and looked away. The smell of blood filled the room and his eyes widened, trying to ignore it. "I-I... Uh.. I'll be right back..." He said and stood up. He stumbled down the steps and too the kitchen. He grabbed a glass of wine and stumbled back up the stairs, finding the smell was still their.. He popped open the lid and pressed his lips against the bottle. He tilted the bottle up, letting some of the wine escape into his mouth.

So she hadn't been the only one to encounter a hostile vampire... It seemed that she and this man had more in common than she first expected. The one thing that they didn't seem to share, though, was a common train of thought.
This guy just up and left without hardly any warning. She had no clue why he'd left, but she perhaps thought that he had left something on downstairs, like the oven or stove.
Her thoughts were squandered when he returned to her with a bottle of wine. This man was already intoxicated, and now he was still drinking.
"You may want to put that down... You're already impaired. Too much more, and you'll be on the floor, giggling and crying like a little girl being tickled to death." She let a smirk curve her lips.
"Plus, I don't want to listen to you snore if you pass out on the ground."

He chuckled once more and put the bottle on the table next to him. "Theirs nothing eles to drink..." he complained and looked at her. "That, my dear, was once, I've mistaken drinking for an easy thing, non addictive... But by that mistake... I messed my self up.." He said and looked down. This time getting a grip, ignoring the blood sented room... He looked her way a few times, his eyes still large, from the smell.. Mabey by him drinking, she'd think that'd be the problem with his eyes.... Hopefully...

Rosselyn wasn't really sure what to think now. He drank, knew that it was bad, but still did it? She would never understand men. Or anyone who wasn't a Slayer. It was so weird to see him saying that it was bad, but he did it anyways. Quite the contradictory man.
"Well..." She paused as she caught sight of his eyes. She'd seen many a drunk man, and many vampires. What she saw in his eyes was not the result of drunkenness. It was bloodlust.
She narrowed her crimson eyes, drawing a dagger from her pocket. Without second thought, she brought it to her wrist, and sliced a long, thin line against the skin, blood dripping from the wound immediately.
If he was human, he would freak out and immediately try to bandage the wound. A vampire wouldn't be able to stand the scent of blood, and they would surely advance.
This was the final test.
It was a shame that she didn't have her gun ready.

"Why'd you do that!" he shouted. He balled his fists tightly and stood up. "Are you crazy?!" he asked, still shouting... He freed one hand and rubbed it through his hair. He walked towards her, then back. "I-I-I....." he stuttered and stepped back again. "Fine, if you want to know the truth?! Then here it is..." he shouted and walked towards her.. He grabbed her wrist and then the other hand and twisted it behind her. "Vampires... Only last so long..." he growled, a bit under his breath.

Rosselyn half expected the man to be a human, and to go and get her a med kit. He was shouting- something that humans would do when they saw a random girl harm herself. Human? maybe.
He asked if she was crazy. Human? Probably.
As he began walking towards her at a fast rate, she didn't have time to move before he had her arm pinned behind her, her bleeding wrist free, still. She knew the truth by then, alright. Though, her bleeding wrist was pretty painful now. And she'd put herself in a very sticky situation.
Human? Not at all.
She knew that he was a vampire now, but their increased strength made it impossible for her to escape his hold. She hadn't really thought that through. Her gun was in her clothes, her knife in the hand that he had pinned against her back, and her bleeding wrist was free.
She bit her lip, growling under her breath.
"You liar!" She thrashed, but couldn't break free. "You lied to me!"

He let her go and looked at her. "I know I lied..." he said and shoved her aside and walked out the door. The plan was going great.. Till then.. All that time she was testing him... What a shame.... He looked back at her and looked ahead. He then ran to a dark ally and through his own little secret way... To a small den, hoping she'd follow him.. Usually their'd be more vampires their, but a day earlier, he killed one of his own kind, so he frightened them all away.. It was the fourth time he'd ever done it, but the last time he ever done it... He hoped... Just by doing that he earned the name Death... First it was his father, then his best friend... And then, two vampires he didn't even know... He lived a sorry life.... He regretted all the killings he had done, but one.... He'd always hated his father... he drove him to the point of killing....

As he let her go, she simply shook her hand off. The cut wasn't too deep, and it wouldn't kill her. Worse come to worst, it would make her dizzy and pass out. That would be all, and if he hadn't killed her by then, she had a rising suspicion that he wasn't out to take her life.
He could have easily killed her right there and then. She'd been stupid- allowed him to get close to her. She had been taught to take on vampires from a distance. Once they got within a few feet of you, your chances of winning the fight dramatically decreased.
She followed him as he ran, curious now. Vampires wanted blood. She had blood. It was virtually dripping onto the carpet. Why did he not kill her? She was fascinated.
She walked in after him, right into the hideout, staying close to the doorway.
"You. Why? Why did you not kill me?" She had her gun ready to fire if he came at her again, resting the side of her gun against her hip.

He looked at her and shook his head. "I've done enough killing for once... I've killed four vampires, to many people to count, and diffrent types of animals.." he murmmered and looked down. "I truly regret killing..." He said once more and looked away from her. "I'm a murder, nothing can help that...Everyone fears me, even my own kind..." he explained and looked back at her. The smell was strong, he couldn't stand it.. He closed his eyes and rested his hand on his head. Don't do this..... She'd innocent... Don't kill her... You wont become a better man.. You'll still be a murder.. GET A GRIP! He shouted in his mind, trying to catch himself, trying to hold on..

Rosselyn pursed her lips, crossing her arms and holding a hand over the wrist that she had cut, trying to stop the blood from flowing. It leaked out over her fingers, dripping onto the floor occasionally. She had her gun ready in her injured hand- it wasn't injured badly enough to where she couldn't pull the trigger.
"Well, it's hard for others to like you when you hate yourself."
Her blood-colored eyes stared him down. "And there's the fact that you're a vampire." She gritted her teeth. She really didn't have time to deal with an emotional vampire. Especially one that she was supposed to kill.
"Listen, I really, really have to go. I'm not going to kill you. You seem to be having some serious issues right now." She paused. "In other words, I'm letting you off the hook for now." She turned around to leave. "But if I ever see you again, I promise I will kill you." As the Church commands...
She began to walk off, not so much as even casting a second glance over her shoulder at the vampire.

He stood up and and nodded a bit. "Mind if I walk you their? I wouldn't want any others to get you..." he said and took a step toward her.
Why was he being so nice? He'd usually be mean and stuborn. Was it because he was cought? Or off the hook?
He started to wonder to himslef but then looked over at her. "I wouldn't try anything...." he said a bit faintly and looked over to the window,
