Eden finished the plate shortly after Nicholas pursed his lips. The funny thing was that she was still hungry. Even though she hadn't gone on a fly in a day or so, her metabolism was still as fast as it'd ever been. She felt like she'd lost weight already, though that wasn't true. Eden didn't have much fat on her body. The majority of it was light muscle. Her body was made for flying. Her bones were even hollow, though they were extremely strong.
When he mentioned keeping her as a pet, a smirk spread onto Eden's face. She knew he would be lying to others by saying that, but the image of her being a pet to..... this man, who was so kind. Well, if she had to be a pet to anyone, she wouldn't mind being his pet. It was odd.
"Well, put a leash on me and call me 'Sparky,'" Eden said, the smirk still on her face. She set the plate down on a dresser right beside the doorway, and picked up the clothes, placing them also on the dresser.
"So, will you get me some.... Lady clothes while you're out? I mean, your clothes are nice and all, but..." She laughed, looking down at her feet.

I felt a bit of relief when she just teased about the pet thing. I didn't want her thinking I actually thought of her that way, but that didn't mean I wanted her to stay in my house. I wanted her out of here as soon as possible. The idea that Lynda might see her wings while I was out in town today made me terrified.
"Alright, I'll make sure to buy some."
I said, refusing to laugh with her when she did. "I'll be at work all day today, so I'll tell Lynda... Well I'll think of something to keep her away from you."
I said with a shrug before leaving the room with out another word. I thought that she might be hungry for lunch, but I guess she'll have to deal. I closed the door behind me before going into my room to grab all my things to leave.
Before I left, I explained to Lynda that she was terrified of woman. Odd phobia, she told me. But hey, at least she bought it. ( |D )

"I swear if he's not here within the next two minutes, I'm leaving out of this house and finding something to eat," Eden muttered to herself, rubbing her flat stomach. It had been growling at her ever since a mere hour after Nicholas left. The sun was setting, she could tell, staining the sky outside of her window a beautiful pink, orange, and almost purple.
Her stomach growled one more time, and she growled to herself, stretching out her wings and giving them a test flap. The movement sent a burning pain down her wing, through her shoulderblade, and down her spine. It made her wince and hiss. Gosh, she hated that feeling. It felt as if someone had clipped her wings like they did with tamed birds.
She moved to the door. She couldn't stay here anymore. It was crowded, there was nothing to do in the room, and she was starving. When she placed her hand on the door and opened it, she was met by the face of Nicholas. In his hands were a bundle of womens' clothes, and she brightened to see him.
"I can't stay here for any longer, take me outside, please." Her voice was choppy, and her stomach growled loudly as she finished. It felt like it was rumbling.

[[ My apologies. ; _ ; Schoooooool. I have about 4 more days and then I'm free to role play. Thanks for waiting. c: Also excuse this fail. I haven't played this rp in what feels like forever. I have to get back into it. |D ]]
The day was filled with worry for me. Every other second was filled with images of Lynda walking into the guest room and seeing the wings. I swallowed at the thought of coming home to Lynda screaming with fear and maybe even have a gun at her hip. The images soon were forced to be faded away from my mind but that didn't take away the anxiety.
I soon stood outside of Eden's room and just as I were to open it, her face appeared. I couldn't help but smirk at her before putting the clothes in her hands.
"Alright Eden. Just get changed and I'll..." I paused, looking by both ends of the hallway. "... I'll have to think of a way to get you out with out Lynda seeing you." I said, looking at her as I chewed my lip in thought.

Eden took the clothes that Nicholas offered her quickly, listening half-heartedly to his words before zipping off to the small half-bathroom that was attached to the room that she'd been cooped up in all day. She took off Nicholas's clothes, putting on the more feminine ones- with both the bathroom and bedroom door open.
Luckily, she was around a corner where nothing could be seen- except a long, slender, tanned leg.
When she finished, she came back to Nick wearing a pair of dark shorts that were simple, but had intricate brass buttons on the pockets, and a corset-like top that had an undershirt under it, its sleeves billowing away from her arms slightly, draping down to about two inches above her elbow.
She ran a hand through her hair.
"So, what's your idea for getting me outside without letting Linda see me?" She shook her wings slightly, wincing as she felt the stitches burn on her wing.

She didn't respond to what I said, but instead tore for the bathroom to change. She seemed overly excited to leave the house and I couldn't blame her. A light pink rose to my cheeks as I watched the pieces of clothing fall to the floor, only her leg in my vision. I cleared my throat, turning to my side as too not stare but that didn't stop the tips of my ears from burning.
I shrugged, looking back at her. "We'll just sneak you out the back, I guess."
I said, still surprised at myself for even going through this trouble in the first place. She was a Valkyrie; I should be kicking her out by now and letting her fend for herself in the streets, where some wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger. But I wasn't such a savage; I had to keep reminding myself that.
"Let's go, quick."
I said, blinking back from my thoughts and disappearing from the room, and started down the hallway towards the stairs. I had no other clever way to get her out other then sneaking through the back so, hopefully Lynda doesn't screw this up.

Eden took great joy in hearing just how she would get out. Had she been allowed to roam around the house freely, she would have already memorized any and all exits. That's what claustrophobia did to a Valkyrie. And all Valkyries had some form of claustrophobia.
It was a wonder that she hadn't gotten cabin fever from all those hours in the bedroom.
She readjusted her shirt, brushed some of her silky ebony hair away from her face, and bit her lip.
She nearly skipped after Nicholas as he went down the hallway, but she settled for a hip-swaying step. Hey, the swaying of her hips had seemed to help her in her in the previous situation, the night before. It wasn't like she was conceited or anything. She just knew that she had good features.
A good diet and lots of flying would fix anything on your figure. That and constantly being on the run.
She walked ahead of him, ignoring the stinging in her wing with each of her steps, walking silently down the stairs, stopping at the bottom to wait for Nicholas, seeing as how she had no clue where to go from there.

I kept walking, glad Eden decided to wait behind so that I could check where Lynda was in the first place. Her back was towards me, making something in the kitchen. "Oh, Nich, I didn't hear you come in. I'm making my special chicken today; I bet Eden will love-"
"I saw more rats coming out of our basement door this morning." There was nothing Lynda hated more then rats; surely it was the perfect way to sneak Eden out. Lynda's face came to a boiling red and she wiped her hands vigorously on her apron as she stomped away to go to the basement door. When she was out of sight, I ran back to the stair case and grabbed on her hand to drag her along in a hurry. "She'll be up soon to say she sees none; we have to hurry."

Eden was surprised to see Linda sitting in the kitchen. It was then that she remembered the hunger burning in her stomach, causing her to drop her free hand- the one that Nicholas hadn't grabbed- to her stomach, rubbing the flesh there, hidden under her shirt, tenderly.
Even without flying, it seemed that her high metabolism still kept its pace.
She settled to actually sprint out of the house, into the open air, long hair fluttering about behind her.
She stepped into the cool night air, seeing the sun high above the rise of the buildings of the city. Several peoples' windows were open, so she immediately felt tense, and accidentally tightened her grip on Nicholas's hand.
"So. Um. We just walk?"
