She nodded, maybe she did know him. That car picked Kirk up everyday. She looked at the wolf that was laying down beside her. "Will he bite me?" Amber asked Axel as she outstretched a hand for Danger to sniff. She liked animals, she trusted them much more than people. |

"Nah he won't bite. Not unless I tell him to or unless I'm being attacked." Axel said as Danger nuzzled Amber's arm, wanting her attention.

Danger smiled and laid his head on Amber's lap. Axel smiled and chuckled. "Wow. I have never ever seen him take a liking to anyone so quickly before" Axelsaid, watching Danger, who had closed his eyes.

"He's a very gentle soul for the name Danger." Amber smiled and stroked the wolf softly. "And his coat is very pretty, how long have the two of you travelled together?" Still smiling she looked up from the animal, to the boy at her side.

"I've had Danger ever since I was a little boy. He's been with me ever since" Axel said, smiling. He laid back and closed his eyes, thinking about Kirk. AXel quickly opened his eyes and sat up, hearing Police sirens. "I think they found us!" Axel said.

After mumbling several curse words under her breath Amber Jane got up and grabbed her backpack. "Lets get out of here. Which way?" She asked him, and also thought the question for Danger, considering he may know better than Axel.

Axel stood up and shifted into a pure white tiger with beautiful ruby red eyes. "Get on my back" Axel said to Amber. "Danger, go find a safe route so we can get away from the police" Axel said. Danger nodded and ran off.

Hesitantly, Amber sat on the tiger's back. This was an odd feeling to her, because only moments ago he had been a handsome young man. She knew she needed to focus so she pushed the thoughts away and wrapped her arms around the tiger's furry neck.

When Danger came back, Axel followed him and sighed. As they headed through the forest they came upon a river. Demon jumped over and waited for Axel and Amber. "Hold on tightly" Axel said, backing up.

Amber had an idea. She allowed her camo ability to kick in, and she slowly turned her body the color of the tiger. Anyone looking at it, would not see a human there at all. Following axels direction she held on tight and whispered in the tigers ear "I'm still here. Just using my ability. You may go."

Axel nodded and Ran foreward, leaping over the river with ease. Danger snorted and took off again. Axel followed him and smirked. Axel then stopped and turned around. Danger stopped too and looked back. "Amber get on Danger's back." Axel said, grinning.

Confused, Amber Jane let her powers down and got on the the back of the wolf. Taking the color of Danger's coat, she secretly sifted into Axel's thoughts to see what was going on in his mind.

Axel grinned.Those cops are not going to know what hit them. Axel grinned and took off in the oppisite direction. Danger then took off and looked around. After a while Axel found Danger and Amber, but he was limping as he ran. There was a line of blood on Axel's left front leg from a bullet.

Shock rippled through Amber's body. He's been hit! She thought worriedly as she sprung off of Danger's back and ran to Axel. "Oh you poor baby! Are you okay!?" She said as she looked down at the bullet wound. It was pretty bad, he was going to need medical help.

Now instead of a bleeding white tiger before her, There was Axel. Still shirtless from his earlier swim, Amber smiled slightly. "Roll up your jeans so I can see the wound." She said kindly to him.

AXel rolled up the leg of his jeans and winced. "How bad is it?" He asked. Danger walked over to them and nuzzled Axel's arm. "I'm okay Boy" He said, patting Danger's head.

Amber looked at Axel's leg and her eyes widened. "It's.... Really bad." She said as she winced just looking at it. "You're gonna need medical attention. But I need to get that wrapped." She said and she took off her shirt and wrapped it around his leg, then pulled her jacket from her backpack and put it on. "Is that okay?" She said softly, worry filling her voice
