She sighed, pushing her trolley alongside the train. Amaryllis was rather tired this morning, though, no surprise since she was always tired the day of going to Hogwarts. The past few days she had to do the ‘routine’. She lied to her parents every year when she would have to attend Hogwarts because Amaryllis was muggle-born. She would always tell them that she was going to go to Auckland, New Zealand for school when really she was going to Hogwarts to study (and play Quidditch) and each year her parents would believe her. The truth of them knowing, worried Amaryllis. She knew if she did tell them the truth, they’d call her crazy. So she kept it a secret and a lie. But, Amaryllis hated the feeling of lying to her own parents. The guilt always gave her a ‘hole in her stomach’ and lasted until she was finished that year at Hogwarts.

Amaryllis sighed once more before stopping at one of the train’s entrances. First she took the bird cage that housed her owl, Ellious, off of the trolley and into the train. Amaryllis searched for an empty compartment, hopefully so she could avoid the awkwardness of asking a fellow student if she could sit with them and thankfully she did. She opened the compartment’s door and slid through. Amaryllis placed Ellious on the seat, “I’ll be back..” she said softly. Ellious replied with a few hoots. Amaryllis quickly went back outside and took her luggage from the trolley, not really caring to put it back. While there, she saw a flood of Hogwarts students start to aboard the train from all the other entrances. She snapped back into reality and hurried into the train with luggage in both her hands. She found her compartment, empty with only her owl. Okay good. She carefully stored her luggage in the cupboards of the compartment above the seats, then finally she sat down beside Ellious.

“Finally.” She huffed before thinking about what this year would hold. Amaryllis also looked out of the window, searching for any familiar faces.

OoC; Sorry for taking forever to respond. Life's been...hectic. And, what year are they? Shall we say 5th? Or perhaps 6th?

Ronald Weasley stood, luggage in hand, a mere 5 metres away from the scarlet train as his mother pulled him in for another tight hug. His ears went as red as his hair as people walked by,. Softly, sa to not hurt his mothers feelings he pushed her off,

"Mum." He said, "I'm not a little ickle first year, you don't need to treat me like one." He shrugged his apologies and smiled at her before walking to the train. Once aboard he searched for an empty compartment, there was none, other than by al the, ew, Slytherins. He shduddered and sat down next to a girl he recognized, only after storing away his luggage. He smiled at the girl and asked, his ears once again turning red,

"You don't mind if I sit here do you?"

"Absolutely one hundred percent not Slytherin." He smirked, "And it's been pretty much the same my entire life. The twins pull pranks around the house, Percy's being a git, Charlie's away with dragons, Bill's dating, ugh, Fleur Delacour," he fake shuddered, "and you should know Ginny right? She's a year younger."His stomach rumbled loudly and he smiled apologetically before digging in his bag. He pulled out some Bertie Bott's and Chocolate Frogs. Pulling out a frog, he tore the head off and asked her, his mouth full of chocolate,

"Wan' one?" He held out the bag to her and raised his eyebrows as if to encourage her.

Ron sat down heavily at the Gryfindor table and motioned for Amaryllis to sit by him. He waited for the speech to be over so he could fill his plate with delicious food.
