Fighting the urge to stand Ron grumbled, quite irritably, "Shove off Malfoy, you arrogant, good for nothing, daddy's boy." He growled and turned to Harry, "And you! Following him around like a little henchman! Well? Got anything else to say about her an' me? Go!" He was quite angry by the time they left. He turned to Amaryllis and said, "I can't believe Potter and I were ever friends." He shook his and muttered a dinstinct, "Ugh." Before piling his plate with food and digging in.

Amaryllis backed up her hand and cursed under her breath. "You know.. You should've made them stay for at least a minute or two, then I could've turned them both into frogs or something.." she quietly complained before taking a spoonful of potatoes in her mouth. "Mhm, I do remember when you and him used to be good friends in our first year.. until that snotty, little Malfoy came along and stuffed stupid thoughts into his head.." she replied. Amaryllis laughed at the sight of Ron fill his plate full. "I don't know how you do it Ron. Being able to eat so much, and staying fit," she joked, punching him lightly in the shoulder. "And hey, do you know what we have in the morning?" she asked.

Ron smiled around a mouthful of mashed potatoes and after swallowing added, "I dunno." He shrugged, "I mean, I do a lot of Quidditch playing in the summer with my brothers, but during school-" he shrugged again, "I dunno." He smiled at her and flciked his hair out of his eyes and thought about it, "Um, lemme check," he grabbed his timetable, 'Ugh. Double potions with the Slytherins."

"Ugh.. Why does Gryffindor always have to end up having classes with them," she commented, most definitely disgusted. Amaryllis ate the last of her meal and looked around, seeing a few familiar faces along the way. "So, what you excited for this year?" she asked, eager to know. She afterwards smiled, turning to face him. ||Fail Dx||

"I know." He grumbled finishing of his main course and reaching for a treacle tart. "Slytherins are," he shuddered dramatically, "horrible." He shoved the entire tart in his mouth and swallowed before answering her question, "I plan on trying out for the Quidditch team again, Keeper." He smiled at her, "I wasn't the greatest last year, but I've imrpoved quite a lot." He brushed is ginger hair out of his eyes, "What about you?"

"Far more worst than horrible.." she said, sickened. Amaryllis reached her hand over to grab some Yorkshire Pudding and started to nibble the edges of it. "Well, I bet you'll make it," she smiled before taking a bite out of the middle of the pudding. "Seeker for me of course, and well I dunno what else, I guess anything that comes up" she continued. She started to eat the whole of it and afterwards placed it on her plate, not bothering to finish it.

“I hope so and thanks Amaryllis.” Ron smiled, “Obviously you’ll make it, you’re one of the best Seeker’s Gryffindor has had in years!” This caused him to blush, luckily though, oonly his ears went red. They were hidden well enough under his ginger hair that he didn’t have to worry. “So, uuhhm,” he paused, “are you taking Care of Magical Creatures this year?”

"Thanks Ron," she said, her cheeks flushing a light red. She looked up at the Head Table for a while hoping the red in her cheeks would go away. A few minutes afterwards she turned her head back to him and smiled at him. "Oh, no.. Are you going to be taking it?" she asked, tapping her fingers on the table involuntarily. ||Fail Dx.||

"Yeah," he nodded, "I kinda liked it, apparently this year we'll work with Thestrals." Ron smiled, "Although, I'm not entirely sure how many of us will actually be able to see them. Y'know?" t was their 6th year, the classes they were taking were NEWT levels. Preparing them for the end of school-life tests at tthe end of next year. He sighed, "I have absolutely no idea how 've managed to pass Potions so far. Snape obviously hates me, and I barely pas.sed. I mean, I got an Acceptable on my OWLs last year, so why am I in his NEWT clas.s? I thought he onl accepted O's. Perhaps we have a new Potions professor?" OoC; rambling=fail post

"Oh, I see. Interesting Thestrals are.." she said, staring off at the ceiling. She then looked up at Dumbledore who had just instructed to head off to their Common Rooms. She stood up and gestured Ron to come a long. "Professor Snape's not that bad Ron, and when you were eating away, Dumbledore announced that Professor Snape is going to be teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts and his old friend and colleague, Professor Slughorn is going to be our new 'Potions Master' and I'm rather excited!" she said excited, dashing through the hallway.
