Lilly awoke with a yawn and stretched .She had slept in Selene's cavern the night before it seemed to be the only place she could sleep now .Her tail flickered and her ears dropped slightly today was the day that she had to go out and see for herself what had happened to her parent .She lightly stroked Selene's side "Time to get ready"she said as one of Selene's seemingly glowing yellow eyes opened .

"Yes Lilly "Selene yawned stretching out her almost translousent wings ."It is the day?"Selene asked with a flicker of her tongue .

Lilly nodded "Yes Selene it is the day we go into the unknown "She said "You should go have breckfast we have a lot to do and I don't want you to faint "

"Dragons don't faint "Selene replied "we black out for a short spill but only if we haven't eaten for eons "

"So you tell me "Lilly Smiled rubbing under the dragons chin before walking around and Climbing onto her back "Take me to the family house I need to ready my pack and what have you "She said before Selene took of in the direction of the village .

Sabrina sighed she had been up since before sunrise ,unable to sleep .She looked out over the lake her mind jumping from one place to another 'I don't know if I can do this Scar ' she broudcast 'What if I never make it back would someone actually care?' .She looked at Scarlette 'Would you care?' .

Dash fluttered above Soldenta's head as she flew.

Soldenta pointed with a tallon towards the lake that they were flying over I think there's someone down there she said/thought.

Dash folded his wings and droped out of the sky with a piercing screech.

Jay became a burrowing owl and dived after him "wait for me!".

"What the heck!" Willow cried "they're going to get themseves killed!".

Don't wory, they can fly fast if they get attacked Soldenta began to lose altitude.

Dash opened his wings and glided down to land infrount of Scarrlette.

Jay landed beside Dash "hello".

Soldenta landed and Willow leapt off her back "are you two crazy!? You could have died! You could have been killed!".

Jay cocked his head "why would they kill us?".
