Luckily, Eva's friends knew when the teasing was enough, and didn't bug her about her actions. She made it through the first night back without incident, and was a much more typical Eva at breakfast the next morning. She was shining with the picture of a cool collected socialite, a typical pretty girl who hung with the 'fun' kids and did well at most things. No one mentioned her moment of losing the cool so she managed to look completely unruffled.
Her hair bounced, her black skirt flounced, and she just looked comfortable. Which was assuredly not how she felt. Still, acting was an important talent to have when one didn't want others to know true emotions, and she certainly didn't want Albus's loudmouth family or Radio Kat to know just how smitten she was. No, that was best kept secret.

"Tell me 'gain Al, she just kissed yeh?" Aiden asked eagerly. It seemed that he was back to his normal, annoying self. "Well, I'm not too keen on telling anyone but, yeah.." Albus replied, feeling uncomfortable on the topic. He and Aiden were just making their way to the Great Hall for breakfast and post. Once they arrived, they made their way straight to the Hufflepuff Table and to their usual seatings. Albus yawned and placed a bowl in front of him, filling it with milk and cereal. While Aiden took a croissant and began munching on it. He dropped it onto his lap a minute later and seemed to be staring at something ahead, with his mouth hung open. It took a couple of minutes for Albus to realize that Aiden was doing so. He smirked and looked at Aiden, "What's gotten into yah?" he said, observing his stopped-dead-in-tracks ex
pression. He turned his head forward to see what Aiden as looking at and beamed instantly. It was Lea Audoire, the girl that Aiden fancied. The girl was thin and pale, with dirty blonde curly hair that fell just over her shoulders and pristine blue eyes. She took a glance at Aiden then smiled, afterwards she resumed talking to her friends. Albus shook his head and clapped his hand under Aiden's chin, causing it to close shut. "I gotta admit she's cute Aiden but, you can't just go and stare at her with an open mouth.. you almost began to drool y'know!" he laughed, smiling. Aiden ignore him, he went all googley eyed. Albus resumed on eating his cereal and at the moment, he caught sight of Eva.

Cheyenne, who had been forewarned of young Aiden's attractions, nudged the blonde. "Lea, you should really stop teasing the kid. He's gonna break down in a puddle-a sweat. The boy's in frickin' pieces over you." Eva, having one of those weird abilities to just feel when someone was looking at her, turned in her seat, meeting Albus's gaze straight on. She turned back to her bagel just as quickly, searching out her friends at their respective tables. Cheyenne was in conversation, sort of, and Kitty... Of course. Flirting with Scorpius Malfoy. Eva shook her head, giggling, and briefly forgot how flustered she'd been only seconds ago. But seriously. How can I talk to him now? That's right, I can't. She shook her head, only to be boxed in by James and Fred Jr. Oh GOD no. Holding back a groan, she refocused on her bread product. "Not now, guys. Really." "But Eva, we only want to help." "He's my brother, for cripe's sake." "And my cousin. Blood, love. Blood. Thicker than all else." "Exactly. So we have to stick our noses where they don't belong." "Absolutely have to."

Albus started to grit his teeth when he saw James and Fred Jr. approach Eva. ..And there they go, ruining my life.. ruining my whole existence.. he thought, doing the usual of covering his eyes with his chestnut coloured hair. Thankfully, this time there were no red in his cheeks which he was very grateful for. But, still all in all he was basically embarassed. "H-hey Al, Y-ya think Lea f-fancies me b-back?" Aiden suddenly bursted out. It seemed that he had faced the facts and was no longer embarassed about bringing her up. "'Course Aiden, who wouldn't like an annoying, Irish kid," Albus joked, chuckling afterwards. "Oy, mate! don't bring up Ireland like that!" he replied, punching Albus lightly in the ribs. "Okay, okay.. I'm sorry," he apologized sarcastically, obviously Aiden had to know he didn't mean it like that. While Aiden finally picked up the croissant from his lap (and had started munching again), Albus had finished his cereal. He took his gaze off of Eva and looked above him. A swarm of owls began flooding into the Great Hall, dropping post and packages here and there. A small, white, Snowy Owl swooped down right in front of Albus and dropped a letter and a small package. Albus smiled and scratched the Owl's head. He took the letter and carefully opened it from the top. He pulled out the letter and read it, smiling. The letter said: Dear Albus, How are you? I know you know that I don’t usually write very early in the month but, your mother has made me (you know how your mother is, as she loves you, your brother and sister very much). I hope you had a safe trip to Hogwarts as always and I hope you remember not to bicker with your brother. Anyways, Just remember to be safe, have fun (and occasionally take some risks if you certainly need to, don’t tell your mother this as she might get very worried and get angry with me). All my love (and your mothers), Dad. P.S – I’ve also sent you some Every Flavour Jelly Beans, careful. Albus' smile broadened and he folded the letter thoroughly, placing it into his robe pocket afterwards. He then grabbed the small package and ripped the brown paper off of it. Just as he father had said, Every Flavour Jelly Beans. Albus also stuffed that into his pocket. He patted the Owl on the head again and it flew off a minute later. He returned his gaze on Eva, James and Fred Jr and he made a small smile. His cheeks flushing.

Just as Eva was beginning to hope that she might not be humiliated, a massive black owl appeared through the window, and her heart dropped. As if by some signal Chey and Katie appeared on either side of her, shoving Fred and James out of the way. The owl stopped in front of them, bearing three letters, three packages, and... A howler. Of course.
With a glance to the other two Eva reached for the Howler, which was, apparently, tradition. It exploded, shouting in a chorus of three voices: The Mothers.
"HEEEEEY YOOOUUU GUUUUUUUYS! JUST CALLING OUT TO OUR LITTLE LADIES! STAY OUTTA TROUBLE AND KICK A-... BUTT! WE LOOOOOOOOVE YOU SO MUCH!"
To the raucous laughter of three tables the girls shook their heads, sighing. Foolishness. Upon opening the packages they found care kits of sweets, perfumes, make up and a stuffes animal for each. Another yearly occurence. While the other two returned to their tables to read their letters, Eva tucked hers in her pocket for later then turned to wave meekly at Albus.

Albus' cheeks got redder though, he weakly waved back with a smile, he still had to be polite. He faced his lap afterwards, trying to think straight. He turned to Aiden, "D-do you think I should talk to 'er?" he asked, hoping his friend would give him a pep talk or some good advice on what to do. "Y'know I think yeh should Al. Just don't y'know.. bring up the kiss but, don't go actin' like it never happened mate, I dunno, that's all I have te say I guess," Aiden said, shrugging. Albus smiled as a 'thank-you', then he rethought of what Aiden had just said. 'Aiden's right.. wait- Aiden's right.. woah, that's kinda weird -ish- but, whatever.. he's right' he thought, nodding absentmindedly. He patted Aiden on the back before getting up from his seat and walking briskly over to the Gryffindor Table. He stopped when he had reached Eva, a few feet from her. Albus looked down at her and gave out a smile. "Uh- hey, Mnd if I sit with you?" he asked, his voice quiet and shy-like.

Having watched him make his way over, Eva grinned, nodding with a giggle. "After that howler, I'm just glad you aren't embarrassed to be seen in the same room as me. Parents, huh?" Her eyes sparked with good humor. She would say a lot, but she loved the Mothers and all their wacky excapades. It was just their way of showing affection, however odd and even deranged it got.

Albus chuckled and sat down next to her, fixing up his robes. "Yeah, they're great y'know but, somtimes.. well.. yeah," he replied, shrugging his shoulders. He took a quick glance around, thinking on what to say next and he tapped a beat on his lap. "Hm, uhm.. what class do you have first?- y-y'know.. just wonderin'," he said, his voice going a bit stuttery in the end. ||fail post. lol.||
