OOC: lol, yeah. I like changing it when I change my siggggy to different lyrics and such. :D Nonononononono, I never even heard of that peninsula. haha! Why? Is that where your moms family is? ;PPP Omggg, another full document page from Katteeeee <33 Yayyyy :3 BIC: The whole ride home, Nikki stayed silent. Blocking out all probing questions from Josh. Finally, she heard one that stood out. "That stupid singer guy probably did something to make you all irritable. What, he say your annoying and stupid like I think so?" To hide her cheeks, that were as crimson as her hair just at the thought of Sidney, she put a hand to the cheek facing Josh, acting nonchalant. Before she could reply with a smart remark of how Sidney didn't feel that way at all, they pulled up to the driveway. She found no need to keep the conversation going. Her mothers car was also in the drive way, so that meant she was home. Rolling her eyes for no reason at all really, she got out of the car, and didn't wait for Josh as she walked in side, slamming the door behind her. With Nikki's peripheral vision, she noticed her mother jump at the sound. She immediately knew something was wrong. "Nikki? Are you alri-" Nikki didn't feel like talking about how she felt. "I'm fine!" She interrupted with an angry tone before running/stomping up the stairs, to the hallway, passed two doors, back to her room. She's been through this temper tantrum routine before. She opened her bedroom door, closed, locked, and jumped on her bed. Could she say, deja vu from last time she didn't get her way? She didn't cry of course. She wasn't that much of a kid, but she desired too. Crying made everything feel better, but for some reason, she just hugged her pillow, while staring straight to the window across the room. Secretly, in the back of her mind, she had this crazy idea to wait there until she saw Sidney through it. But, that wasn't possible. He was probably already leaving - or getting ready too. When there was finally silence, and she didn't hear her mothers footsteps come up, she could finally calm down. She didn't understand why she was feeling like this - or what she was feeling, for that matter. Sometimes, just trying to figure out what it was, made it feel better. She layed on her stomach on her bed, forcing herself not to look back at the window to see if he was there. She understood what she felt. Alone. He was probably the first person in a long time - not counting her father - that 'accepted' her. She felt comfortable with him, and always forgot when he was famous, when he was around. Now, she had to go back with her forsaken friends, Jenna and Lizzy. She still hasn't talked with them about the other night. Finally, she could get herself to cry. And it felt good.

((Sorry D; Often Sometimes I procrastinate on replying to my Rps.)) A pair of previously magenta eyes observed the horizon, watching intently as the sun lazily made room for the crescent moon. The orange sky over the untouched snow created a postcard worthy scene. Sidney, of course, was ahead of that, already having taken numerous snapshots through the bus door. And now, darkness overcoming the landscape, it was time to do some baking. He'd his mother's ginger snap recipe memorized, but it didn't hurt to read over the aged note card that she herself had hand written for the boy. He couldn't help but indulge in the raw cookie dough, though he denied his fellow band members a taste. The miniature oven opened one last time to reveal the final batch of snaps, mitted hands retrieving the baking tray. Thirty minutes to cool, and the thin and crispy treats were ready to be enjoyed. But that'd have to wait until the next day. Well, maybe just one... -At the Local Mall- The singer had already artfully packaged an approximate dozen of his special cookies in a transparent wrap, tied shut with a candy-cane striped bow. They'd be a part of his gift to a certain special friend. But he needed something more, which was how he'd ended up at the conviently- open mall, swarmed with last minute shoppers. Of course, he came disguised with stone grey contacts, cloaking himself in a matching colored trench coat. He even went to the extent of wearing a wig that made him appear a natural brunnete. No chances could be taken at a place like this, not that it wasn't fun to play dress- up. But no matter how many stores he checked, and no matter how many kiosks he browsed, he couldn't find that perfect present. What kind of things did she like, anyway? All girls liked jewelry, right? But that may seem a bit extreme for someone he'd only met a few days back. Wait! He spotted when he caught sight of the perfect something in a store window. --- Back at the bus Storm examined the trinket he'd chosen, the other band members off wrapping their presents to eachother, the prepared singer having done so days ago. From a thin silver chain dangled a miniature pocket- watch, elegant etchings inscribed on it depicting what looked to be a blooming rose. A curious finger reached to touch it, and it opened with a click. He set the correct time, delighted to see the hands pointed so strikingly at the roman numerals. He then returned the necklace to its golden gift box, complete with matching golden bow. Both his presents now rested in an somewhat small white- glittered gift bag, a thin la yer of red tissue paper going over top. A tag attatched to the handle read 'From your friend Sidney- Promise not to forget me' Now it was time for delivery. --- Standing at her doorstep, he gently placed the present down, somewaht to the side so it wouldn't be stepped on. As he walked back in the direction of the bus, his vision blurred with tears. But still, he held a broad grin, shaking it all off. Crying could dislodge his contacts, anyway, and he certainly didn't want that. --- Dodger's snoring rang through the ears of Storm, who was the last to remain awake. He couldn't stop the thoughts that ran through his mind. They'd leave tomorrow, no matter what. But what could he do about it? Pushing everything aside, he finally drifted into a slumber, looking forward to the taste of ginger snaps and candy canes in the morning.

OOC: Sorry I wasted all day with that simple question that I could have figured out. D: Was Res closed for you too? D: BIC: After crying, Nikki realized she shouldn't feel so stupid about doing just that. There was a perfectly good reason for hugging her fuzzy purple pillow and sobbing into another smooth white pillow. Her friends had ditched her, Sidney was leaving just when they started to get to know each other, and she had to take her stupid brother where ever he wanted to go for, how long? At least a month. And, like she thought, she felt much more better after the crying episode. Her mother knocked on her door throughout that hour, twice, asking if she wanted to talk. Nikki would reply with a snotty sniffle and a croaked: "No." then went back to her pillow. Since she felt that much better, she found the courage to call her friends and see what the problem was. After trying to wipe away any trace of crying in her voice, and nose, she first called Jenna. Out of Lizzie and Jenna, Jenna was a bit more honest. Just a bit more. "Hello?" She heard Jenna's giddy voice come through Nikki cell phone. "Hey...it's Nikki." Now all of a sudden very nervous, she swallowed and kept going, seeing as Jenna became oddly quiet. "I was just wondering what happened after the concert?" More silence. Nikki couldn't help but rub in what had happened. "I would have called you sooner about it but I was too busy enjoying myself with-" She stopped. Didn't Sidney explain to her all those horrible fans? And, she was using his company against him, to make Jenna envy her. Who did she think she was? The phone line was silent after her interuppting herself, until Jenna finally said - without even realizing the second part of what Nikki said -, "Uhm...About that night. Lizzie's parents called and said they wanted her home." There were voices in the back ground, and she could point out Lizzie's 'Happy go lucky' voice anywhere. "I was right next to you the whole time, why didn't you tell me Lizzie had to leave?" Nikki pressured, knowing all to well that it wasn't some commanding phone call from her parents. She could hear Jenna sigh in the back ground, "Well, maybe we were in a hurry and we just thought that you wanted to stay..." Nikki rolled her eyes at the lie. She put the phone down, still hearing Jenna's voice through the ear part (omg, whats that called?). Finally, she put the phone back to her ear and heard, "...I'm not lieing to you. Believe me." Honestly, this was Nikki's cue to ditch the girls the way they ditched her. She did a deep sigh before saying, "Alright." And with that, she hung up the phone. Not angrily, but she did want to throw the phone against the wall. What a Christmas this was going to be. Nikki thought to herself. She heard a knocking at the door, and since she was done with the episode, opened it. It was her father, who came home from work. "Hey dad!" She said excitedly, while hugging him. Her favorite - and best - relationship she ever had was with her father. Just then did she realized, he was holding a present. She looked at it curiously, and eyed her father. "I found this on the front porch. Who's this 'Sidney'?" She heard him asked whie he was reading a tag attached to the handle of the bag. But, she couldn't reply. Just the name sent her excited chills, and she grabbed the bag quickly, and went back into her room after slamming the door, and locking it. Immediately after she had her privacy, she put the bag on her bed and read the tag. She smiled wide, so wide her cheeks hurt. She couldn't help but feel so warm all of a sudden inside before she even saw what it was inside. She took the red tissue paper away, for some reason not ripping it up. Instead, she layed it smoothly on her bed. Maybe it was because all of this was from Sidney, and she was never going to see him in person again. She needed everything she could get from him, to keep him remembered by her. I doubt I'll ever forget him... She didn't stop smiling wide, while she opened the gift carefully. She chuckled at the ginger snaps that were inside, remembering their conversation about them. Not wanting to ruin what she had of him just yet, she chose not to eat any right this second. She even chose to keep the present bag. She didn't realize something else was in the bag until she found a nice corner to put all of Sidney's things. Yes, she's always liked him so much, she chose not to hide it now. She now has a special place for him in her room, and maybe in her heart as well. His jacket, still with his scent surrounding the material, the bag, tissue paper, and gingersnaps were all inside. She then saw a flash of golden in her peripheral vision. She picked up the golden box, and opened it. She was in so much shock, she even heard herself gasp. This, wasn't going to be kept in the corner. She planned on wearing that necklace for the rest of her life. (I'm so dramatic D:)

((Sorreh. *Slow replier* I don't reply until I have the motivation. And yeah, Res was out for a bit. And what are those things called? I'm no phone expert myself, so I suppose it never came to me that it even had a name.)) "Th- Thump!" Storm was rattled awake, amber eyes shifting about, as if anything would have changed from the previous night. It was early, as could be told by the orange illumination that gave the room a warm glow. Were they... Moving? Walking into the main room of the bus confirmed that they were indeed in motion. A pang of dread wove into his chest, seeping deep into his being. He'd not likely see his friend again, though he felt almost as if they'd cross paths again, by some miracle. Of course, she was probably off and happy on her way to Australia by now. Those irresistable surfers guys couldn't steal away Nikki's attention, right? She wouldn't lose her memory of him in the great outback. Right? Sid was getting ahead of himself. Shaking it off, he joined the others beside a stack of presents which had been set out over the course of the night. The manager had impatiently claimed his prizes at the crack of dawn, eager to start on the road to their next concert site. With his incredible speeding record, they'd get there with time to spare, even despite the fact that they left a day late. Unusually enough, Flare wasn't busy ridiculing him and enforcing the highway laws. Must've been that Christmas cheer getting to him. At the end of the gift exchange, a certain satisfied singer had recieved some new jewelry- his favorite piece a mood bracelet- as well as a pair of exquisite jackets. He was already wearing the pair of rainbow contacts he'd been given. The other members were equally excited, everyone nibbling on thin and crispy ginger snaps. Time passed all too quickly that day, not unlike any other Christmas. But the singer couldn't help but feel as though there was a gap in his heart. He didn't like her that way, did he? Even he himself couldn't put an answer to that. And now, he found himself miles away from the one he wanted to see most, sitting on a couch in the back of a cruising tour bus. A friendly guitarist joined him, a concerned look reflecting off of emerald eyes. He knew. He always knew when it reguarded Sidney, and he was always there. Uneasiness hid in his rainbow- enhanced eyes, which focused on Skunk in a silent cry for help. "Love hurts, eh?" The guitarist finally spoke, wearing a sympathetic smile. Sid seemed to deny this, shaking his head whilst saying- "It's not love, I just feel as though I'm losing a friend." Skunk knew love when he saw it, but he wasn't about to fight. "You two will be reunited." He assured with a mysterious smirk. "I'll make that happen." The singer couldn't help but wonder what he had up his sleeve. "How do you plan to do that?" A shady glare beamed dully from green eyes. "You'll see. You didn't happen to leak any personal info to this girl, did you?" Storm considered, lifting a finger to recall. "I shared some stories of my past, as well as my real name. But that's about it." "Perfect." --- "Hello?" A heavenly voice drifted into a silver cellular device. "You were planning to give out a few pairs of tickets for the next Relapse concert, correct? A Christmas giveaway?" Skunk was on the phone with an employee from a vast- ranged radio station. "Yes, three pairs. And exclusive limo rides to the concert for the winners, and they'll spend the night before the concert in a fancy hotel. Why do you ask? A beat tapped on his foot as he voiced his reply. "This is Skunk, and I have a request. You were planning to ask trivia questions, correct? A right answer wins a pair of tickets?" The other end of the line was silent, the employee probably nervous after she'd realized just whom she'd been speaking too. "Y-Yes, that's right." Finally, an answer. "So, could I provide a question?" This time, the response was near sudden. "Oh, yes, of course. What would you like to ask?" A smirk broadened on the guitarist's face. "Ask them this- 'What is Storm's real name?'" The voice on the other side was hesitant once again. "Does anyone really know that? I mean, outside the band and all?" Pretty much, no. Which could help Sid's friend win those tickets. So long as she tuned into the correct station at the correct time, and had the courage to call in. "Of course! Any true fan knows that his name is Sidney. You knew, didn't you?" Skunk was such a sly one, he could get pretty much anything he wanted from anyone. "Why wouldn't I know? I've always known!" She didn't know. Until he'd told her, of course. Hopefully the singer wouldn't mind if his name was leaked to a few fans. "So you'll put that question out there?" He wanted to confirm. "Certainly, sir. Merry Christmas!" --- "You didn't happen to get her number, did you?" Skunk gazed to the singer, not speaking a single detail of the phone call. If she did win the tickets, it would be a pleasant suprise. Otherwise, he didn't want to get Sidney's hopes up. "No, I'm afraid." Now that he thought about it, he should have asked her on one of his many chances. Too late now. "That's alright. There'll be other girls lining up just to meet you." He tested, patting his band mate on the shoulder. "I don't want the others." The singer resisted a tear. "You don't understand. She wasn't just a fan. Maybe on that first night, I could consider her such. But after that..." Sid trailed off as the guitarist embraced him in a comforting hug. How unlike him? But it was a good change, and it was very appreciated.

((That stinks. I type all day and my hands seems to be fine *Pinky falls off* Hm. Concert's gonna be about four- hundred miles away from the previous one, meaning a seven to eight hour drive including the small stops. Of course, Nikki would get a limo ride to the location, as well as the night in a hotel free of charge. Location wise, it will be a larger and fully developed city, nestled in a mountain range, on the flat area between two mountains.))

OOC: Omg Kate's muscles on her fingers are....WOAH, I'm in a trance <3 And, actually I enjoy babysitting since it's just my neices who I watch so much were all like sisters... Yeah, never mind, it's horrible... o_o IWILLFINALLYPOSTSORRYFORMAKINGYOUWAITSOLONGGAHHHH I didn't really know what usually happens when you win hings on the radio, so just bare with me. I know some things are wrong at the end... BIC: Ironically, the presents Sidney got Nikki only made her feel worse. Knowing that Christmas was tomarrow, and Sidney was leaving, wasn't a good match. Though it seemed slightly odd, a bit immature, and a hint of stalkerish, she couldn't help but sleep with his jacket on - and the necklace of course. The next morning, she was woken up by Josh, who decided to scream at the top of his lungs unintelligably. Nikki guessed it was something about Christmas. What about it? She may never know with that high pitch scream, or hear again for that matter. "Alright, Alright!" She exclaimed to make him shut up as he ran out of her room to wake up their parents. As Nikki expected, the joy for Christmas wasn't in her heart yet. She hoped after spending time with her family, presents and hopefully going to Australia, Sidney would be out - and stay out - of her mind the whole day. She didn't want to keep him out of her mind forever, but she couldn't enjoy Christmas and him still be hanging there in her mind, reminding her of the empy void dieing to be filled. As she groggily got up from her bed, maybe 20 miutes after the obnxious Josh woke her up, she took the jacket off and put it in the corner with all the other things of Sidney's. Sadly, almost all of the scent was leaving the material. Quickly, before going downstairs, she locked her bedroom door and stole a taste at one of those gingersnaps. And he was right. They were delicious. "Oh my gosh..." She said to herself, savoring the taste that filled her mouth. Somehow she'd have to tell him how much she loved just one bite of the snack. When she heard her name be called by her parents, she quickly put the rest of the snack back in the container and left her room after taking the necklace off. She didn't need her mom asking her where she got it. -Later on in the dayyyy <3- The day was filled with Christmas presents, laughs and memories. Some of Nikki's parents' friends decided to stop by, and since there was no kids her age, she had the right to leave and go back to her room. By the time everyone left, all the ginger snaps were gone. Sitting on the ground, with her bedroom door locked - as usual, these days - Nikki chose to clear her head with music. Ironically, (xD) she turned on the radio station that Relapse played on alot. It surprisingly made her feel better, and she couldnt' help but smile as she listened to Sidney's voice flow soothingly from the speakers. Her mind told her to stop thinking about him. Her heard said that he was singing to her. Of course, she was being some crazed fan who had a jacket from him. She was just being... In heaven for a moment. Can't she bask in it for a little longer? As she realized the song was only making her more depressed, she was about to turn it off when the song was ending and a womans voice filled the speakers. "To all those crazed Relapse fans out there, don't miss your chance to get free tickets with back stage passes, a free night stay at a five star hotel, and a limo ride right to the concert! This is a must hear, Relapse fans..." Nikki's heart leaped with the first words. She couldn't even listen to the rest, for she was too busy thinking about what would happen if she won the tickets. Would Sidney be ecstatic? Or would he think that she was following him, and that she got the wrong idea with the two times they had together? The womans voice took her out of her thoughts, "... all you have to do is answer this trivia question. If you think you know the answer, give us a call at (*random numbers*)..." Nikki, again, stopped listening. Too busy dreaming about how Sidney would react to her being there. Then the womans voice brought her thoughts back. "... The question is... (*Drummmm rollllll*)... What is Storm's real name?..." As she repeated the question for everyone to hear, Nikki gasped. "What!?" She exclaimed excitedly. She knew his name by heart! She's been saying his real name for days now! WHY HAVEN'T I CALLED IN YET? All worry about how Sidney would react was completely gone. She dialed the number to the station, still wondering how this was possible. "Hi." She said nervously, all of a sudden feeling the need to vomit. "I know his name. Sidney (_______... Did he say a last name? If he did then lets pretend she remebered because I didn't D;)." She said it knowingly, and if she heard someone deny it, she knew she'd lash out at them. It was definately Sidney. For a long moment, everything was silent. Then she heard both on the phone, and on the radio a voice saying, "Congratulations, you answered correctly! What's your name?" Realizing that her voice would be heard on the radio she gulped nervously. "Uh...Nikki. Nikki Smith." A chill went down her spine as she heard her voice waver over the radio. It was too awkward for words. "Well, congratulations Nikki! You won a free night stay at a fancy five star hotel, free tickets - and back stage passes - to a Relapse concert in ______ (? D:), and a limo ride to that concert!" Nikki smiled, and chose not to respond on the phone. Instead, she fought a wave of nausea and when the woman on the radio changed to a different topic, someone else was on the line with her. Asking for information that they couldn't ask while on the radio. She gave it to them freely. Just knowing that she was going to see Sidney again, made her want to dance around and scream. And after she got off the phone with th kind man, she did just that. With his jacket on, necklace on, and gingersnap in hand.
