From the perspective of the balcony, the crowd was just a colorful mesh of fans and confused passerbys. Sidney couldn't pick the face of one from another, and not even the striking red hair on Nikki's head could help him pinpoint her location among the others. He simply continued to aid in the creation of the melody that seemed to be pleasing their audience. The mini concert went on for another ten minutes before the trio signalled a final goodbye in the form of a wave, each one quick to help the others with equipment clean up. Once inside, the gathering outside the building went back to their business, many wearing broad grins. -- The last sprinkle of rain dribbled lazily from the clouded sky, a set of flashy multicolored eyes trained upward. Storm had decided upon taking a walk and getting familiar with the area, all the while flaunting his new contacts and sporting one of his favorite jackets. His wooly black beret sat in a droopy mound over his hair, bangs freshly tipped in a silver tone. It wasn't long before his latte- radar kicked in, and he found himself drowned in the rich red undertones of the local coffee joint's interior. He ordered a mocha latte, satisfied with the friendly service. Drink in hand, the singer settled into a corner booth, savoring the aroma of his beverage. The low lighting combined with the serene atmosphere inside the structure was enough to put someone to sleep, though Sid couldn't complain. It was just so relaxing. -- Rainbow eyes stared at an empty cup. It had been empty for a few minutes now, but he couldn't bring himself to get up and leave. He just wanted to sit and enjoy the warmth and comfort for a little bit longer. And the best part was there was no one stopping him from doing so. ((Ah, I'm so sorry for the huge delay D;))

When the song was finished, Nikki reluctantly walked back to her father, who was still talking to an old obese women behind a desk. I walked up to him after making sure I didn’t drop anything, just as he got given keys to the rooms. “Ready?” He asked. She was surprised he didn’t ask why she ran out of the hotel. Then again, everyone now found out that the band ‘Relapse’ was here, so he probably just put the facts together. “Of course.” She said before following him to the elevator and to their floor. ~~ “How many drawers do you need, Nikki?” He asked before folding his clothes into one of the larger drawers. Nikki walked in from the bathroom, shaking her head. “Dad, who cares about putting our clothes away, I have to figure out which outfit I’m wearing for the concert! And you’re the only one here to help me…” She said before taking out all the optional outfits from her suitcase. With a sigh, her father lied on the bed, with a bored ex pression. “Fine…” He grumbled. ~~ Knowing that Sidney was going to be seeing her again, Nikki was anxious to look her best. And her father wasn’t helping. By the end of the choosing, the only suggestions from her father’s mouth was, “Maybe we should take a break…” about five times. Her patience was growing thin, and she didn’t want to snap at her father and get punished by losing the chance of seeing Sid again. So, instead, she told her father they could have that ‘break’ he’s been asking for, for the past hour. Right now, she was wearing a blue jacket and a white coat over it, since it was so cold, purple sweat pants, and sadly, no hat. She had chosen to walk around the area she would be living in for the next couple days. She didn’t know it very well, but she promised her father she’d be fine. And after much coaxing, she was able to go alone. Just as Nikki realized she may have been going too far ahead from the hotel, she saw a coffee shop just across the street. Walking towards it, she crossed her arms as a wind blew by, making her shiver. Finally, she got to the door and opened it. A blissful feeling of warmth went through her body as she came inside, taking off her coat. She kept it slung on her forearm as she went in line for a coffee. She had a couple bucks saved in her wallet, so she wouldn’t have a problem with paying.

A bell chimed cheerfully when another customer opened the door, awaking Sid from his daze. The place didn't seem so busy at this time, probably on account of the current hour. It was that time of the day when a majority people were scouting for dinner, whether it be in the comfort of thier home or out at an eatery. Being winter time sunset came early, the bright star already tucked behind the horizon. The rain had long since subsided, though there were still traces of thick and gloomy clouds overhead, promising a shower or two later. The singer found it'd be best to retreat to the hotel soon incase of an early storm. So it was with a reluctant sigh that he approached the trash bin, tossing his paper cup away and heading for the door. But a flash of cherry red made him freeze in realization, black- lined eyes darting to the front counter to meet a familiar figure. There was no mistaking it- it was her. That girl who'd given some flavor to his tour experience, and not by being a nuisance. Her name was still boldly embedded into his mind. Nikki. He considered whether or not to greet her. "Nikki?" He finally managed softly. "You're the last person I expected to see here." The warmth of his broad grin surpased that of the well- heated building. ((Ah, it's kinda short >.<))

[[Oh. Shut. Up. ]] Who would have thought out of all the people she'd run into, the one person she'd want to see more then anyone would be the guy to come up to her? Just as Nikki became second in line, her name was called not to far off. The voice was familiar and a warmth spread inside her just by thinking about who it possibly was. She turned around hesitantly, trying not to get her hopes up, and finally had her eyes hit that pretty boy-ish face that seemed to glow in her eyes more then the sun. "Sidney?" She said with a smile, before reminding herself not to look stupid, just standing their smiling at him like a dazed lunatic. "Yeah I... Same to you." She added, trying to look calm as she felt herself blushing just by looking at him. Trying to keep the conversation going, and not looking like that lunatic she was avoiding to seem like, she said, "I saw you on the hotel balcony. My dad and I were booking rooms and I... Heard you guys." She said, biting her lip. Was she acting like other fans? Was she being those annoying kinds of girls to him? Did he think she was following him? In a way, she was, unfortunately. Just before Sidney could answer, Nikki became next in line. She jumped, being forced back to reality, as the women said, "Next please..." She moved out of the line willingly, so she could keep talking to Sidney. She couldn't lose the chance to keep the conversation going.

"You're gonna be at the concert tomorrow, right?" That was a needless question. Of course she was coming, why else would she be in this city at this exact date? The chances of it being a coincedence were oh so slim. But he had to wonder how she'd managed to get the ticket, as fast as they'd sold out and as hard as they were to come by. His thoughts swung in the direction of Christmas, and he recited those words Skunk had spoken in his head. 'You two will be reunited. I'll make that happen.' Was this really the work of that sly guitarist? Sidney opened his mouth to say something, but if he did manage to utter anything at all it was unheard, for at that moment a huge pang of thunder sounded, a blinding flash of lightning flickering simultaneously to accompany the noise. Only a splt second later, and the interior of the coffee shop faded into darkness. Power outage. The shocked singer took a moment to catch his breath, freightened glare softening into a more calm state. Outside the vast windows the storm was raging, countless electric flashes dancing down from the heavens. It was probably not a good idea to go outside about now. "That was sudden." He offered, trying to ease out of the now awkward atmosphere that encircled the pair. "I don't think we should leave this place until the weather calms a bit." He just hoped the employees didn't mind their company. Speaking of employees, it seemed they had all retreated to the back room. He didn't catch on to what they were up to until the entire staff of two came back carrying as many tiny candles as their arms could manage. After all the candles were lit and dispersed about the room, one of the workers nodded kindly to them, a signal to make themselves at home. The singer did so, taking a seat in a booth and patting the space beside him for Nikki to settle in.
