The butterfly man cocked his head a little bit, making sure to carefully keep the young moth close,s eeing as he was aware that both of these others could possibly injure them. "My name is Vinta," he responded, cocking his head a little bit. "Do forgive me if at some point I appear to glare at you. My vision is rather...poor so I usually have to squint to see beyond a muddle of colors," he stated before he turned to look over at the trees. "If you prefer you may rest here while we gather fruit and bring it back," he said, glancing at the apparently barely conscious individual.

"Well then, nice to meet you, Vinta." Schlau said, his cheerful attitude returning. He wondered why Vinta would admit to having poor eyesight, it seemed as though it would make him more vulnerable. Though he couldn't say that he hadn't made himself as vulnerable by coming over in the first place. "Oh no, I'll be okay. The more people we have looking the more we'll find to eat." he said, attempting to prove he felt alright by standing up straighter. For the moment, he did actually feel well enough to pretend he was fine.

Abyaz smiled faintly, noticing that Vinta remained close to him. It felt nice to know that the butterfly man cared, at least a little. He didn't feel as nervous in the company of the two predatory mutations as he would have if he had been alone, and he was reassured by Vinta's civil speech that he had taken the right course. If Vinta would talk nicely to them, then it wasn't bad that Abyaz had, right? Besides, Schlau didn't seem like a meanie - just real tired. "Sounds like a good idea~" He chirped, when Schlau made his point about the number of people searching. "Do you like fruit? I hope you do - but there's probably something else if you don't..." He rambled, thinking. What if Schlau and Zhee preferred meat? Maybe there would be rats or something near the fruit? Fish, maybe? If it was food that didn't talk, Abyaz didn't mind - he didn't want any of them to be hungry.

((I was under the impression that we were waiting on Headache to introduce her two characters, but I'm not sure.))
"Fruit is good," Schlau answered, "but I'll eat almost anything that isn't bitter." He glanced around the area, eager to leave this place. It felt unsafe here now, like something bad could happen any moment. "We should start looking for something edible now, yes?" Schlau asked, waiting for confirmation from the others. He hoped Zhee would go first so he could keep an eye on her in case she tried anything, he wasn't sure whether he could trust her yet.
