The entire incident seemed to happen in slow-motion for Greyson, and that instant became the pivotal moment that everything else seemed to center around. It was his fault that Tom became upset, his fault that she tried to put the cat up, his fault the cat lashed back at her, and his fault she started bleeding. The sensation of the crimson so tantalizingly close, but behind the invisible border of societal rules, was pure torture. It was as if a starving man was just inches away from a banquet, but had a large wall of plexiglas that sheltered the food. He knew he could end the torture by merely killing Calyx right then and there, but he also knew it would cause a horrible riot. Tears welled up in his eyes, and his face froze, his nostrils flaring with delight, imagining the warm taste of blood. He shut his eyes abruptly, and ran out of the cafeteria, pain expressed on his face. "Oh god, I am so sorry," he murmured monotonously as he left the table. He continued sprinting until he reached the Honors Biology cl*censored*room. He was so absorbed in his task he forgot to shut the door.

As.sorted animals were sealed into small cages in the room, their colors contrasting starkly with the tacky neon walls. He manically galloped towards an unlucky rabbit's cage, and uncovered the top. As he lifted the rabbit from its small prison, he squeezed it powerfully, killing it before it would hop away. The rabbit died instantaneously, and lay limp in his large hands, stained with deep scarlet. Greyson dug his teeth into the vermin, and syphoned it of the small amount of blood it contained. Although it wasn't much, it would be enough until the afternoon bell rang.

As he finished consuming the beast, he realized the students and teacher would realize the rabbit was no longer alive. He stashed the corpse on the teacher's chair, sadistically laughing to himself.

Sky just managed to smile back at Greyson as he smiled at her. She looked over at Calyx as her cat swiped her across the face. What an annoying cat that must be. Sky thought. A look of pure confusion came over her face as Greyson suddenly ran off. "Where is he going?" She asked, a little more brave without his presence.

James was so entertained by the sight he was watching that he hardly noticed a random girl sit down next to him. When he looked away he noticed the girl. He jumped at her sudden presence. "Woah, that was freaky. How come your here all of a sudden then?" James asked.

Calyx pressed the cat down to the table with much force. Tom let out a squel of pain, flailing around pitifully. He let out desprate mewls. "You stupid rat! I'm going too-- Wait, Grey, where you going?" Her anger turned into confusion. Should she follow? She didn't have a choice when Tom wiggled free and ran after the vampire, yowling. And, of course, she had to get her cat back. "Tom!" She snarled, racing after the cat. Tom easily found the vampire, for the door was wide open, and the s,ell of blood was overwhelming for a cat. Tom began to spit at him, taking daring steps closer.

"Was always here.... Open your eys..." she growled at him and looked around to room.

 Dustin sighed and saw the football team.

Sky finished her apple, at last. She stood up and walked to the bin and dropped the apple core into it. She stopped for a second, thinking she caught the scent of blood, but shrugged and walked back to where she had been sitting. Must be my imagination.. She thought.

"Woah alright, I just asked, jeez.." James said rolling his eyes. He looked back over to where Calyx had gone. He was a little confused when he didn't see the boy that Tom had face hugged, he hadn't even heard him leave. ((Didnt know what to do >.<))

Violet rolled her eyes and glared at him, "Well don't ask me anything else.... You annoy me..." she muttered. She looked around and saw a few people laughing and smiling. "It's a joke..." she thought, "Always is one.." she reminded herself and sighed.

((Jethro is on the team XP))

Karienne looked disgusted as the cat rolled on her food. When he jumped off toward Jethro she looked down and saw there was cat hair on her remaining potato wedges. "Ugh." she said pushing the tray away.

Jethro laughed, he liked that cat. Well at least he'd like it until it decided to attack his face. He watched the girl, she said her name was Calyx, but Jethro was probably just gonna call her Cat or Kitty or something. He watched as the cat jumped up and scratched her face. She wailed and started to bleed. He chuckled slightly but turn his face down towards the bench to try and hide his smile.

Suddenly Greyson muttered something before he rushed out the door. "Where is he goin'?" William said as he looked over at the boy rushing out the red doors. Karienne shrugged. "Maybe you should follow your boyfriend?" will suggested, only to be welcomed by a punch in the arm. She jumped when the girls cat ran part her again the wailing girl chsing after it. "That has got to be the most odd lunch I have ever had." she said as she handed her tray to Jethro who tossed the cat fur fries into the garbage. He cam back and sat himself down next her. 

Karienne sighed and remebered the other girl. SHe urned to her. "Hey are you new? I dont think ive ever seen you before"

Greyson froze as he saw the cat enter the room, spitting at him fiercely. "Oh crap," he exclaimed, knowing that Calyx would follow close-by. He wanted to pretend to read the notes on the board or something, but he realized how stupid that'd be, considering there was no teacher in the room. An eerie smell filled the room, coming from the teacher's chair, although it smelled delicious to Grey. He piched his skin, trying to deter himself from fetching the mutilated rabbit from the chair.

He ran to the other side of the room, in an attempt to get away from the blame of murdering a cl*censored* pet. He crouched in a corner, and devised a split-second plan. As ironic as it was, he decided to lie that he fainted at the sight of blood.

Tom jumped over the teacher's chair, his paws getting stick from the blood. He didn't care. His number one priority was to save his mistress, even if that meant scratching the vampire. He pawed the air, hissing and spitting as if he was fighting an invisible foe. His fur fluffed up, his tail stuck out. Calyx easily found the room. Once she walked inside, she immedietly covered her nose. "Oh my god, is smells as if something died in here." If she only knew how right she was. "Tom-- There are are! Wait--Grey? Is that you?" She stared awkwardly at him. She walked over, her nose still pinched. "Are you alright?" She looked around the room. Then she saw it-- red paw-prints coming from the teacher's chair. "Tom, what the hell did you do?!"

Dustin sighed and sat next to someone. "Yo!" he said to the team as he smirked.

Greyson held his nose and averted his eyes, to not become bloodthirsty once more. "I think his paws are still, uh, bloody from scratching the crap out of your face," Greyson offered, hoping the cat wouldn't be blamed for murder. "I really should have helped you back there, sorry. I just... faint at the sight of blood." He apologized indifferently, cluthing his nose even tihter, so he sounded slightly nasal.

He eyed the cat carefully, realizing what an enemy he had made, and a dangerous one at that.

(( Cat VS. Vampire. o.o ))

Calyx rolled her eyes. "He didn't scratch me that much." She said. "I've come accustomed to it." She reached over and lifted him up. "Faint at the sight of blood, huh?" She said, scratching the back of her head. She shrugged it off. It was his problem. But, she couldn't help but glance at the dried blood under one of his finger nails. Again, it wasn't her problem. If Tom was a human, he would of been having a '*bleep* attack', for he was hissing and spitting, making a trail of blood as he circled the Vampire, his eyes threatening. Calyx kicked him. "Now, what the hell is that horrible smell? It seems that someone crawled in here and died." She looked around. "Help me, would 'ya?" She asked.

Grey rose, pretending to be oblivious to the source of the awful smell. "Uh, I'll check the closet," he yawned, flexing his shoulders. "No, nothing in here. Maybe it's your cat," he provided uneasily, shifting his weiht between his feet. "Does your cat, er, usually act like this around strangers?" He inquired inocently, a quizzical ex
pression on his face. He sorted through paper and textbooks nonchalantly, actin as if the bad smell could come from such a ridiculous place. He supposed the girl was rather oblivious of vampires, her cat being a dead giveaway.
