{ I'm assuming they're looking for Burke? I could be wrong but judging by his reaction I'd say so. But we'll see :) }
Adi was taken by surprise as he felt a large and slightly calloused hand wrap around his wrist. Before he could wrench himself free, he listened to what this person had to say. It was only after he finished speaking did the young man look up and realize just who it was that had grabbed him. He listened, not bothering to ask what was going on as he was told not to ask questions. The younger man thought of the two men which stood in inconspicuous suits. He wondered if they had anything to do with this guy here. And maybe, they were actually looking for him.
Quickly, Adi thought up a scenario in which they could discuss. With ease, and hidden nervousness he began to start up a conversation with his so-called 'friend'. "So can you believe I found these?" Adi referred to the bag of chips which he'd rolled shut at the top of the packaging. He couldn't believe it himself. "They cost me a pretty penny. Literally, twelve bucks for one bag." The fine hairs on the back of his neck stood on end as they walked past the men who stood above the stairs of the subway. They were watching everyone like a hawk. Adi was thankful they weren't stopped as they walked by, as they were cloaked by crowds of other people.

Spirit let out a moan as the train slowed to a stop. As the doors slid open, she slowly stood up and looked out the window.. She'd never seen so many humans in one place. She began to tremble, she wasn't use to tight places, or even crowds... She stepped out and looked around, not wanting to take another step. Why are they all here? Why are they all in a large crowd? Is their some thing blocking the exit? She began to wonder, her mind full of questions.. She closed her eyes for a few seconds then opened them. She wasnt willing to go threw, but she'd die I'd she wouldn't get the money to the gang, and that was the only exit. She began to walk to the crowd, many other people gathered behind her. She began to breath deeply., the crowd seemed to stop. After standing their for minuets, moments of Heaney breathing got to her. Her vision went black and she fell to her knees.

Once Burke felt they had reached a safe distance from the two men, he stopped walking and looked back at them before glancing at the young male. "You can do what you want now I don't care." The larger male spoke as he started walking once again, not too sure where his next destination was. He was reminded by his stomach just how hungry he was and it wasn't long before he spotted a hot dog cart not too far away. Walking by the young male he had just been talking to, he waited for a chance to cross the street and made his way over to the cart, getting one plain hot dog before throwing a few crumpled up dollar bills at the man, not bothering to count them as he started off again.

Name: EngelAge: Young AdultGender: MalePersonality: Engel is a very odd individual. His personality is mainly very laid back and carefree though it can change depending on the circumstances. He hates to try and be controlled by anyone and does seem to have an anger problem when people make an effort to try and restrain him. This can also be why he is usually a trouble maker for everyone he meets. Engel also loves the smell of smoke and has a small problem with playing with fire. History: When he was several years younger, that was when he had first bumped into Burke and it wasn't long after that they had become so called "friends." Even as a child Engel was always a trouble maker, no matter what town he was in. His birth town was small and was struggling to survive due to lack of resources so it wasn't long before things fell to ruin and he was forced to leave. Engel had been on the move since he could remember, never settling down long enough for the higher ups to find him. Adi tilted his head and raised a brow as he watched the man cross the street. That had been pretty random if he did say so himself. Nevertheless, that thought alone hadn't cured his curiosity. He wanted to know why the guy was seemingly running from those men who weren't so secretly looking for someone.
Without further hesitation, he crossed the road carefully, aware that while there weren't many cars about, he could still get hit. He easily caught up to the stranger and glanced up at him. "So do you know who those men were back there?" Asked the young man, oblivious to the fact that this guy might not want any company.

Burke gave a quiet growl as he took a bite from his food, his eyes glaring at the curious face of the young male that had followed him. "No, I don't know them." With a sigh, he rolled his eyes and mumbled something about humans under his breath before taking another bite. Normally he would simply ignore the annoying humans that made an effort to talk to him but he guessed answering the smaller figure wouldn't hurt. The cool air reached his scarred skin and he quickly straightened up his coat to cover his broad body a bit more.

Lifting up his orange sunglasses, a white headed male poked his head around the corner of an alleyway he was hiding in. Seeing a group of humans pass by, he casually shoved his hands in his pockets and followed after them. Engel gave a sly smirk as he looked back at the train station, glad to be out of sight from the government dogs, for now. Giving a sigh he continues to walk down the side walk, leaving the protection of the small group of humans. Pulling out his lighter along with his cigarettes, he quickly lit one and sucked through the filter. A human walking the opposite direction gave him an odd look and he replied by blowing smoke into her face, making her cough and curse at him which only made him laugh a bit more.
The two men in suits back at the subway station hadn't noticed him, but Engel was surprised to see two more men in suits ahead of him. Now he was trapped between the four higher ups and it wouldn't be long before they saw him. One of the men not far in front of him turned and saw the white haired male and they quickly scrambled after him. Engel cursed and nearly dropped his cigarette as he stumbled and began to run quickly, unable to keep a small laugh from escaping as he made his way back down into the subway station. His plan was to be able to lose them in the crowd of people that would certainly be underground.

Chey shivered as she reached the surface, and the cold chill that came with it. God, how she wished she was back in the desert, where it was scorching during the day and pleasant during the night. Here, it was bearable, and only just so. She wasn't used to being constricted by a jacket. Well, she wasn't used to being constricted by her human body either. Granted, she couldn't do much about that one.
She was just about to take a left when she saw a man with white hair, to her surprise, rush past her. He even seemed to be giggling. Or chuckling. Whatever they liked to call that chortle. She watched him rush by, then turned her head to see two more suits. She cursed to herself and turned as well, not wanting to be seen. Suits reminded her of cops back in the day. Just something she wanted to avoid altogether.
Chey turned on her heel and headed back towards the subway station, but she didn't go down. No way she was trading two suits for two she had already encountered. She lifted her head, and across the street were the other two men she had seen before. It was so tempting to walk behind them, making it more likely they'd be caught instead of her. Cruel, but effective. Cruel mostly for the human boy, who wasn't all human. For the other one, well, he seemed like he could take care of himself.

Jacklin looked around after she got off the train. She saw a tall white haired boy running from a few men in suits. She knew the white haired boy was a mutant. Jacklin had also been chased by those government freaks before. So she decided to give the other mutant a break. Swiftly, Jacklin stuck her foot under one of the men in a suit, causing him to trip and one behind him to also fell to the ground. Jacklin stepped back, hoping the other mutant would get his escape. She understud she had to be extra careful in public, and they would probably notice her now, but he was another mutant. He knew how it felt.

((Sure Fab, I guess it wouldn't hurt for you to have a normal character. Just not too many I suppose.))
Moving quickly through the crowd, Engel stayed as low as he could to keep his white head from being seen by the four following men in suits. There was a break in the crowd of people and he turned back to see a female trip a couple of the men. Giving a small laugh, he made his way to the other end of the station and quickly rushed up the stairs, figuring he would thank the female mutant later when he had a chance. Continuing to run, he turned several corners before finally losing sight of the four men. Panting heavily, Engel realized he dropped his cigarette and cursed to himself as he pulled out a new one. Cigarettes costed a great deal of money, if you could even find any that is.

Jacklin's apartment happened to be near Burke's. She walked back to it and noticed the mutant she helped back at the subway. She scrambled threw her pockets to find her apartment key. It took her a few minutes, but she finally found them. She sighed and fiddled with her key to fit it into the lock. She opened the door and the smell of new house filled her nose. She had a pretty nice apartment, considering she doesn't work and doesn't have much money.
Jacklin began to enter her home. Would the other mutant talk to me? She thought to her self. To think that someone would talk to her, felt out of reach.

Adi adjusted his sweater, along with the scarf. He chewed his lip for the thousandth time that day, not realizing that it had been a long time habit of his. With a small sigh, he glanced up at the stranger. "Oh? Do you think they were after someone? They looked kinda like they're involved with the government..."
He lost his train of thought all too easily once there was slight commotion across the street. A young girl, had managed to trip one of the men in the suits. Adi's first thought had been that she was a troublemaker looking for something to do. Yet, it couldn't have been the case. She looked too kind to commit such an act of behavior. As he continued to walk aside the man who, he realized, he hadn't quite asked for his name, he noticed across the way were the men in suits. They were conversing back and forth, glancing in the two's direction. This only made Adi more nervous and he cleared his throat, inching slightly closer to the stranger in a feat to make himself appear less noticeable and more familiar with the man. "So, what's your name? I'm Adi." He chirped, smiling at him kindly in efforts to make acquaintanceship.

Finishing his hot dog, he wiped his hands free of crumbs and glanced at the smaller figure next to him. It made him wonder why the male was still there, asking him pointless questions that he most likely wouldn't answer. "Of course they're after someone can't you tell just by looking at them?" Burke spoke in a low voice as he sighed, a bit agitated from the human that was sticking to him. Hearing a bit of commotion, he turned his head back and watched as a white headed male rushed off and disappeared into an alleyway. Green eyes narrowed as he thought for a moment before turning forward and walking a bit faster than before, his hand moving into his pockets.
"It's Burke if you must know.." The large male spoke as he glanced back and noticed two men in suits starting quickly towards them. Burke's heart began to race as he continued to walk, his pace getting faster until he finally began to sprint. His hand latched onto Adi's wrist once again and he pulled him with him as he weaved his way through buildings covered in moss and vegetation. As he approached his apartment, he slowed his pace down to a brisk walk and he quickly made his way into the building. Ignoring anything the brown headed male had to say.

Engel's head poked up from behind the fridge door as he heard the door to the apartment open and slam shut. A large smile spread across his face and he watched as the large male walked into the room. "Hey Burke, long time no see huh- Whoa, where'd you find the mutant babe?" Engel's attention was averted away from Burke as he noticed the brown headed figure appear behind him. Shutting the fridge door he grinned and looked the figure over a bit before blowing out a puff of smoke in their direction.

Seeing the white headed figure in his apartment was a bit of a surprise to him, though not too much since he guessed that's where his old friend would be. "What are you doing here Engel? And what are you talking about? Mutant??" Burke questioned him with husky voice as he narrowed his eyes and glanced down at Adi standing next to him. The whole situation was a bit confusing but it wasn't long before he understood that the male he had assumed was human was actually another mutant. Unlike most mutants, Burke didn't have the ability to sort out humans from mutants, so he just assumed everyone was a human.

Adi had been cut off as he was about to speak, to reply to the almost rude comment that the man gave him. Yet again, he was taken by surprise, as the larger being grabbed hold of his wrist and shot through the buildings like a missile heading for a target. His free hand held tightly to the loose end of his scarf, preventing it from getting in the way of his sight as sharp turns were the only thing he met as he was led about.
Burke. Burke was the man's name and he thought about how a name such as that fit him so well. Even as they were only strangers, he thought about the way he looked, his demeanor, the way he acted. It wasn't long before they arrived at a small gathering of grungy-looking apartments. Well, it was a home he supposed. Better than living on the streets, and who was he to judge? No one. Once the door to the home was opened, he was almost dragged in as Burke still held tightly to his wrist. His brow raised slightly to the white haired young man going through a fridge, and it quivered as he spoke.
"Hey Burke, long time no see huh- Whoa, where'd you find the mutant babe?" Spoke the figure, and Adi furrowed his brows at the comment.
"Babe? I'm not a girl!" The youth frowned, unaware that the pet-name could be a reference to either male or female genders. It was only after this outburst did he realize that the man pointed out his other factor. Using a word he hadn't heard of in a long time, it caused him to tense up, and he glanced back and forth between the men in the room. What he wanted to know was how that white haired young man knew about his other manifestation. Adi almost winced under the narrowed eyes of Burke, and gave a confused look at both of them. He wondered why he was even there with the two. And why Burke dragged him along in the first place.
"What are you talking about?" Spoke Adi, his eyes playing an innocent look. He figured if he played the part of not even knowing what the two were talking about, maybe they'd let him go.

"Oh I know you're not a girl hmhm.." The male replied with a small laugh as he went back into the kitchen. After hearing the smaller male lie, he shook his head with a small smirk and continued to look for something to eat. Engel couldn't help but laugh at the two other males in the room. How could these two really be so dense that they didn't even realize they were both mutants. "Relax kid, we're just like you so don't freak." The white headed figure spoke casually as he moved to the couch with a bag of chips he had discovered in one of Burke's cabinets. Kicking his feet out onto the coffee table out in front of him, he flicked the cigarette bud out of his mouth as he pulled open the bag and shoved a handful of chips into his mouth. Beginning to wolf down the bag as if he hadn't eaten in a good while.

Green eyes switched back n' forth between the two males before finally resting on the smaller male. "Don't even think of lying. I hate that more than the idiot humans." Burke mumbled as he noticed he was still tightly gripping Adi's wrist and he quickly let him go as he moved towards the couch. Forcing his way through Engel's legs, he sat himself down on the couch, leaving space in the center for Adi in case he wanted to sit. With a small growl he snatched the bag of chips away from the other male and began to snack. "If you're hungry you can have whatever, I don't care." Burke told the seemingly nervous male still standing across the room.
______________________________________________________________ Giving a small frown, he watched the larger male rob him of the bag of chips and he watched him a moment before mumbling something under his breath. Hearing Burke's offer reminded him of the other mutant and he gave a wide grin at him. "Heyy yeah, why don't ya' take a seat and tell me something about yer'self." Engel spoke with a small laugh as he patted his knee. "I'm Engel by the way, what's your name hm?"

Jacklin wondered around her apartment. She had seen the white haired boy walk into the on next to hers. Jacklin could also sense two other mutants with him. She wondered what they were doing. She had never seen so many mutants together at once. She didn't really know what to do, so she just sat on her couch and sighed. Even if they did come talk to her, or the other way around, Jacklin wouldn't know what to say. She would look pathetic as always.
Jacklin went to the bathroom and looked into the mirror. A five foot tall pale girl with teased blonde hair and many different colors dyed into it. To think this was her. The beast inside of her was nothing in comparison. A horrible mutant, compared to this pretty girl? Jacklin shook her head and splashed some water on her face. She walked to the door and hesitantly put her hand on the knob. Was she really going to talk to the other mutants?

As Spirit still hadn't passed out, all she could think about was shifting to her mutant form... She let our a deep growl and shifted, scaring every one in her way. She raced out, ignoring the men in the black suits, and ran past them. She raced out the door and down the street. She let out a large growl with every step, she was frustrated, she was late, just by that, they'd probably kill her.... Hoping they wouldn't, she turned down an alley way and looked around, not one of the gang members were their, just as she was about to turn around and leave, an 18 year old man stepped out of the shadows. Spirit let out another growl and shifted to her human form. She reached into her pocket and took out the money and threw it at him. She shifted to her mutant form once more and raced away, and out of the alley.
