He said coolly, disguising the fact that he was quite surprised by her actions. Usually a cat would hiss at him and screech until he walked away. 'Females. I'll never understand them.' He thought. Dina stared at the half-eaten deer, licking her lips. She was completely hidden by brush, so you couldn't see her. One, two, three!! Dina jumped out of the brush, belted with speed, and took a large chunk of meat from the deer, leaving the other cats in the dust. She ate quickly, in case one of them would bother chasing her.

"Theif." Iguar said quietly, creeping up on Dina. He took her by suprise, pouncing on her and stealing the remains of the deer. She dragged it back to the tree and curled around it protectively. He glanced in the direction of Dina, daring her to try that gaian...

"At least I had my fill." Growled Dina. Li stared at the group of cats, as he had emerged from the bushes.He had been attracted by the scent of food. "Wow," He said. " Are you guys all doing some food eating ritual or something?" He then looked at the deer. "Mind if a take a bite?" He then smiled. "If not, I'll fight for it!" |

"Its not mine, its hers." Iguar looked up at the leopard sleeping in the tree. "So leave it alone." His hackles rose as he burried the rest of the deer. "Any of you touch it and I swear, you won't live to see another day." he growled. He wasn't in love with the leopard, but he didn't like theifs. He stood on a low branch and snarled at the surrounding cats...

He'd heard somewhere that watching the sky was a good way to p*censored* the time, and so he had decided, a few hours ago, to find a nice spot in the savannah to lie on his back and try to find shapes in the clouds. The flat rock had been warmed by the sun all day and had felt pleasantly warm against his back, and the air was full of pollen and dust, tinting everything a calm, sleepy shade of gold. Unfortunately, there was nothing particularly interesting about watching a savannah sky- mainly because the the climate tends to be dry and rainless in those parts, and if any cloud would p*censored* by, it usually was thin and whispy, and looked less like trees or antelope than large, misshapen feathers. Awakening was nothing as pleasant; Davi had fallen asleep in a rather odd position, and had ached all over when he had to get up. Moreover, he was ravenously hungry, and all the rabbits were now sleeping in their burrows. Hunting a denned rabbit was as easy as eating one, but finding a rabbit den was always a trickier matter. So this is what you do: Find a den. Davi chanced upon one quite early on- a bit large for a rabbit den, but hey, perhaps it was a big rabbit. Or many rabbits, which was even better. Find the end of the den, which is almost certainly underground. Simply position yourself over where you think it is- odd, how the den smelled a bit like a female cheetah, but no, he was simply being stupid. Ah, there, didn't he smell rabbit now? Yes, definitely rabbit. Flush the rabbit out. This is a matter of convincing them that there is something terrifying in their den, causing them to escape outside, where Davi would kill them each quickly and feast. Davi pressed his muzzle close to the ground, and suddenly yelled; "He-ere, rabbity-rabbit-rabbit! He-ere, you delicious little hopping packages of meat! C'mon, little rabbity-rabbits!"

Dina had grown bored of sitting there, watching the other cat protect someone elses meat, so she set off. now, she knew she had found some entertainement hen she heard someone absalute nonsense about rabbits. Sh stared at Davi, who had his muzzle in a rabbit hole. It looked quite halariose, so, she laughed her face off.

Davi paused in his hunting and looked up. "Oh, please don't laugh, ma'am. I'm sure the rabbits can hear you, and they find it quite off-putting." Perhaps the rabbits had abandoned the den. He had been planning to leave and find a new one, but if this skeptical female didn't believe his skills would procure for him a meal, he wouldn't give her the satisfaction of seeing him give up. "HE-E-ERE!" he shouted with more conviction, and then, with slightly more doubt; "Please?"

Vorlos jerked his head up when he heard the sound of a laugh, and a calm reply. "Who are they?" He asked himself, flattening his ears against his head. He quickly bounded to hide behind a rock. When he peeked over his hiding spot, Vorlos saw two big cats, two cheetahs. One watched the other, while the other hunted, calling out to his prey. "You'll never get rabbits like that." Vorlos muttered irritably. He felt a little stab of fear when he saw the scars the cheetah had. A missing eye, and scars along his face. "Wouldn't want to know what happened to him." He mumbled. --- Byrol opened both his eyes when he heard the sounds of snarls and growls. "For goodness sake, would you stop bickering and quiet down?" He asked smoothly, still swinging his tail to maintain a sense of balance. "You three are arguing like spoiled cubs. And ruining my nap." --- Lercha heard the sound of cats quarreling. "Hello, what's going on?" She asked herself, slowly creeping up. Two cheetahs and a jaguar seemed to be fighting over half-eaten deer. "Ew, you're actually fighting over that?" She accidentally said out loud. Lercha instantly slapped her tail over her mouth. "Oops."
