Davi flattened his ears, frustration building inside him. "Sir, I know that you're attempting to observe me without my knowledge, but I'm sure that more spectators won't help me earn a full belly. Will either you or the young miss please leave?" He glanced back at the rabbit den, but all the heart had gone out of him. With a world-weary sigh, he straightened up and turned his head slightly to the left to get a better view of the stone. If his watcher wanted to learn his name, he'd have to introduce himself first.

Vorlos shook himself. 'He's just another cheetah.' He thought. 'No big deal.' "Why not try to squeeze into the rabbit hole? If you dig around it enough, you can squeeze in." Vorlos leapt and skidded right in front of the rabbit hole, starting to paw around it. [[Pffft, I hope there are rabbits in there...]]

Iguar ran off as he saw the female on the branch waking up. He dipped his head slightly before he did so and then he was gone, shooting through the underbrush. What a kind cheetah Aki thought, finding that her deer had only been chewed into a few times. She looked up at the tree and dipped her head, "you want to come down?" She asked...

The cheetah coughed slightly, trying to cover up his embarra.ssment at being outthought. "For reason's I'd prefer not to disclose, I do not enjoy being in small, enclosed spaces underground... though if you do find some rabbits in there, do remember that I was the one who found this den in the first place, and that I wouldn't mind a share of the catch?"

[[Uhm... Byrol is a male. And there is no wolf.]] "Eh? Did I scare that cheetah?" Lercha asked, starting to trot in the direction that the white cheetah ran off to. "Wait! I'm sorry I scared you!" She called, wondering where he was going. His scent was easy to follow, as Lercha followed it, having no intention of running at all, since running usually agitated other big cats. --- Byrol looked down at the remaining leopard that was at the forest floor. "Not really." He mumbled, but slide down the tree. "Oh, you're the one that offered me her deer." He said. --- Vorlos looked at the king cheetah. [Vorlos 'tis a king cheetah too x.x] "I can squeeze in." He said shortly. 'Because I spent most of my life fitting myself into holes in order to escape.' Vorlos thought. After making a hole big enough, Vorlos started to push his body in. He heard the terrified squeals of the rabbits, but Vorlos easily slid his paw in to snag one on the foot. "I got one!" He yowled, quickly pulling out, and killing the rabbit with a swift bite. [[Pffft short post.]]

"Yep!" Aki said joyfully. She wasn't hungry, at all, it was as if she had slept without losing any food. She sighed and bit into the deer. She recoiled, realizing this wasn't her deer, it was someone elses deer, at that cheetah gotten her another deer? Nope, that wasn't what they did. She sighed and pushed it away. It was good, but she was full... Iguar saw a female chasing him and skidded to a halt. "What?" He asked in a kindly tone, twinign his tyail around his white and black body. "Can I do something for you?" His ears flicked as he awaited an answer...

"Oh. Not hungry now." Byrole observed, though it sounded more like a statement than a question. "Well, it's always good to bury prey. Won't rot that quickly, and perhaps could last a day or two." Being born a lazy cub, Byrol's parents had taught him that technique. He started to dig a hole, and once it was big enough, tossed the deer inside, quickly covering it up. --- Lercha stopped trotting. "Oh, I thought I scare you." She said. "Since you ran away when I arrived. Sorry if I did." [[Another short post D: ]]

"Oh, nope, I had been protecting some prey for someone and when she awoke, I left. I don't liove her though, its just the way I am." He smiled... "I knew that." Her fur grew hot as she realized her mistake. She shouldn't just leave prey out, but her mother hadn't taught her that. She sighed. "So, what about you? Why are you out here all alone?" She wondered aloud...

Byrol looked up from the mound of soil. "Because I like that." He said bluntly. "It's nice and quiet when I'm alone. No fighting or fuss over territory, no whiny cubs." Byrol slapped his tail on the ground to flatten the dirt, so it would look less suspicious to any potential scavenger or predator, like a bear. --- "Uh-huh." Lercha said disbelievingly. "I'm sure you don't." She grinned, showing her teeth. --- Aine heard muttering from a few meters away. She crawled out of her make-shift den, kicking out a few bones as she did so. "Will you be quiet?" She asked, then stopped. Two cheetahs, one red, and one white. Not something easy to run away from. "Whups." She muttered unhappily.

(( Au Revoir, Feyth! )) The hole was narrow but the startled rabbits were already racing in every which direction, and it was only a matter of time before one blundered into the easy reach of Davi. His first blow missed the rabbit's spine, but his unsheathed claws punctured it's skin, leaving four long gashes across it's frail body. The second swipe snapped it's neck cleanly and allowed him to drag his catch out into the open. "I'm afraid I punctured it," Davi noted with some disappointment, "a shame. It's losing quite some blood already, so the ideal solution is to finish it quickly. If you don't mind...?" Davi nodded towards the other cheetah. He personally had no problems with other's eating in his presence, but some were of the touchy sort.

[[Baibai, Feyth!]] Vorlos shrugged. A meal was a meal. "Have fun." He mumbled, digging into his own rabbit. The meat was rather tough and stringy, but Vorlos wasn't very surprised. The only way he could have managed to catch the rabbit was it was slow, meaning it was old.

Davi sniffed his meal cautiously, then tore off a mouthful or flesh. He chewed slowly and thoroughly, showing neither pleasure nor disgust. "Odd. It tastes a bit like what I imagined those black round rubbery things the humans put on their machines- perhaps there's something wrong with this rabbit?" He took a quick sniff of his neighbor's rabbit. "Very odd indeed. But," he added, turning back to his rubber-tasting-rabbit, "I'm not complaining. Even if this rabbit is poisonous, it does fill me up- and speaking of which, did I ever give you my name?"

((Yikes, haha. I go to sleep for nine hours, and you guys are very ahead. D; Ah, I'll catch up. And thank you, Tld. You may call me anything you'd like. :] Heck, I'd even go with Pants. I don't know why, but I just wouldn't mind.)) Resa stretched contentedly as she scratched the trunk of a tree with her unsheathed claws. Her mouth gaped widely open in a yawn. She had been sleeping for quite a while now, but her eyes were still quite heavy. It wasn't the most peaceful rest in the world, but at least she had a good amount of shuteye. Her mahogany eyes blinked when her ears caught the sound of other cats ahead. Though she worried whether the other cats were hostile or friendly, she could not help but to find out and satisfy her curiosity. Silently, she ducked under a thick bush and observed. There was a small group of cheetahs and jaguars having a meal. Resa frowned when she realized that she herself was hungry. Perhaps she could trust to approach the group. It was also a good way to make friends. Hopefully. Cautiously, she stepped forward. With her ears flattened on herhead, she smiled sheepishly, "Um...hello. May I have a share?" She added quickly, "I-if it's not too much trouble." --xxx-- Giallo took a deep breath, which later on he exhaled in a deep sigh. His eyes wandered in boredom as he lounged on a high branch. His blue eyes managed to spot a two cats; a male jaguar and a female leopard. He had previously noticed the black jaguar, but he had been asleep, preventing Giallo from having anyone to talk to. The female leopard was new though. He watched them briefly for a while, raising a brow at the jaguar bearing a hole in the ground. He hoped that it would quench his boredom, watching others do random things. But he did find it amusing that they hadn't noticed him before. Then again, he hadn't really moved at all, it was hard to tell whether he was actually alive or part of the tree itself. He merely sighed in resignation and slacked his posture, resting his chin on the branch while his legs dangled lazily. Unconsciously, he spoke out loud to the other cats, "Do something funny, amuse me, please. I'm dying of boredom here."

[[Pandz :d I like that name XD Of course, my username is so short people call me Teld or TLD XD Oh yeah, is Resa talking to Vorlos and Davi? Or Byrol and Aki, or Aine, Lercha and Iguar? Because Vorlos and Davi are in the savannah. Whatever. I'll just as-sume that Resa is talking to Vorlos and Davi x.x ]] Vorlos stopped from his meal and lifted his head up to watch the king cheetah. 'What a weirdo.' He thought, flicking his ears. "I bet it's not." He muttered, returning to his meal, but was startled by a leopard. "Ack!" He yowled. Being surprised, even by a shy stranger, was something he didn't like. --- Byrol looked up to see a jaguar. "I don't feel like it." He said mockingly. "Boredom is a gift, actually. Beats the life of a youthful teen lion that has been chased out his pride." He had been to the savannah outside a few times, and saw countless prides of lions drive out their young males before they reached a mature age.

((Whoa, psychic. *-* Haha, yeah, Resa was talking to Vorlos and Davi. And I have the urge to cally you Teddy. ;D May I? All the nicknames I come up with are either animal-like, or food. o_o)) ((Oh, and you got the species mixed up, haha. Giallo is the leopard and Resa is the jaguar. Though I did mention in Resa's Other section that she's leopard-like because of her small size. But she's still a jaguar. =w=)) Resa cried out and stumbled backward, frightened by the king cheetah that also yowled. She flattened herself onto the ground and softly spoke, her tail curled up at her side. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bother you." She mulled over for a minute whether she should just leave right now, or wait until she gets a reply from either cat. Though the first option was looking quite nice right now... --xxx-- Giallo rolled his eyes and silently mouthed the first sentence the jaguar had uttered. He merely twitched an ear at what he said next, but did not pay much interest into it. He decided to meet the two at ground level, so smoothly he climbed down the tree head first. If he were born a tiger, then Giallo wouldn't be able to climb down like this. Once he neared the ground, he jumped down with a grunt. "Well, at least I managed to actually talk." He stretched lazily, unsheathing his claws for a while and digging them into the ground, retracting them after. "So boredom's a gift? Wow, I have never felt so much joy in my entire life." The male leopard's voice dripped with sarcasm, and the irony of his indifferent face just nailed it. Upon spotting a little ant on the ground his face contorted, and he lifted his left paw and sweeped the tiny creature away. ((Yes. The shmexy irrational fear. Btw, I have an irrational fear of...well, all bugs/insects/things with more than four legs. You'd be lucky if I don't scream and run as soon as you show me a ladybug.))

[[Sure... but Tld is a girl... who doesn't like teddy bears x.x Sorry x.x You got the species of Vorlos and Davi mixed up too. Their both king cheetahs.]] "Don't creep up on me like that." Vorlos said lamely, settling back down, eyeing the female. He looked at his half-eaten rabbit, and back at the rabbit hole, which still had a few remaining rabbits inside. Vorlos flicked his ears and darted towards the clawn hole, managing to squeeze inside the hole, and grabbing surprised rabbit with his teeth. He quickly slithered out, teeth gripping the petrified rabbit. "You wanted a meal, right?" He asked, his voice muffled through the rabbit's fur. "Here." Vorlos dropped the rabbit in front of the jaguar. "Consider this an apology." Without waiting for an answer, he trotted back to his half-eaten rabbit. --- Lercha heard a few more mutterings, and decided that sounded a lot more fun than a raccoon-like feline and a white cheetah. "Excuse me, but I should go now!" She chirped, and dashed off, back to the spot where she found the cats fighting over the deer. The same two cats were there, a leopard and a black jaguar, but there was a newcomer. She skidded to a stop. "Oh, wow! This place attracts a lot of cats here!" --- Byrol was about to reply, but stopped when he saw the red cheetah come back. "Go talk to her instead." He said, tired of talking to other cats. This day was much more eventful than he hoped it would be. He climbed back up his tree, settling back down on his original branch.

"Oh, I am very popular today, aren't I?" But at the the look in the young female's eyes, Davi changed his mind about shooing her off; she was honestly terrified, and it was impossible not to feel pity for her. "If you're really that hungry, you're welcome to some out our meal," he said politely, "but my meal is a bit rubbery- I don't know about his." Davi gestured to his nenighbor's meal with his tail. "You don't have to worry about him. He appears to be quite placid when fed."
