Calyx returned the lick happily. "I can't wait, Taro," She woofed. Then an unfamiliar scent hit her nose. She snooped out of the den and saw a small wolf being attacked by a rogue. Ignoring her fat belly, she lunged up and smacked the enemy wolf into the nearest tree. She didn't have enough time to react as a huge wolf pounced on her and slashed her stomach.

The huge wolf growled. He stood on top of Calyx." Bad move, toots." he said, raising a paw to hurt her more.Taro growled. He tackled the huge wolf. " Stay away!" he roared. He tore the wolf to boits, not caring about the others. The rest of the pack left, in fear of Taro doing the same to them as he did to their alpha. He tossed the wolf carc*censored*, and went over to Calyx. " Calyx..." he said, his eyes waterinhg.He licked her wounds." Heep, get the med. wolf!" he ordered.Heep, a yellow wolf, did so. Angel padded over." Oh, dear. Take her to the den, I'll prepare the gel." she said, a small tear ran down her cheek.

Taro stopped. " I know, dear." he said, carefully dragging her to the medicine and placing her on the table.Angel quickly put on the cold gel." Oh dear...." she said, frownig. She took Taro outside of the den. A few moments later. Taro was bawling. He was devastated.He stayed outside and cried. Angel went back to the den. She patted Calyx's head. " I'm sorry...."

She opened her eyes to stare at Angel. "...What..?" She asked. Why was she sorry? It was her fault she attacked that mean wolf, not Angels.
