Silverwing nuzzled Pyro. "Stay with me forever." she murmured in his fur.

"Thank you, Nevah. I feel great!" she said. Shadowhex padded over to the fatsy elk. She ate some of it, and was full. It was very good. The smell of the bird was still in her nostrils. She lied down and took small nibbles as she thought. Maybe I should get a mate... she thought sadly.

Batflame flew over to Logan. "Well, um they all have bat wings, you see." he said awkwardly, Batflame wasn't used to introducing his packmates to others, they usually did it themselves. The group of tigers pawed over to Logan. The only orange one said "We are Shadowhex's guardians." he said calmly and stepped back. A brown-furred male padded to Logan and said "Name's Draco. I can conjure up storm clouds and create fires." Draco stepped back. "I'm Aqua." a timid female murmured. "I can control water and whip up tornados." A black and white wolf stepped up proudly and dipped her head. "My name is Demon." she said with her hypnotizing gaze. "I can hypnotize and transmogrify into any type of bird." Mind-readers, transformers, hypnotizers, fire-controllers, weather creaters! Batflame's pack had it all. A pup, the only pup in the pack said "My name is Stream" and unfolded her large blue bird wings. "My abilities are tempting and wind-creating."

Pyro paused at Silverwing's request. Was he really ready for this? He had only met her yesterday... His thoughts stopped, and he knew his answer. Hopefully it would be the right one. "Of course."

"That's great!" Nevaeh smiled, proud of her friend for feeling better. Her eyes found Batflame and the group of tigers and wolves, and one pup. The white wolf shrugged, her feathery wings rustling, and went over to them to introduce herself. "I am Nevaeh." Nevaeh greeted, doing her customary head dip.

Silverwing rubbed her head against Pyro. "Come with me. I bet you're still hungry." she said, looking up at Pyro.

The wolves dipped their heads and in a burst of growls and roars they said things like "Hi, Nevaeh!" or "How are you, Nevaeh?" Batflame dipped his head and went on talking to the tigers. The pup trotted to Nevaeh and dipped her head. She trotted back to her mother.

Shadowhex padded over to Nevaeh. "Batflame's pack is the friendliest  I've ever met" she said, marvelling at their niceness. Stream pounced on Shadowhex. "Hexy!!" she screamed, play-fighting with the wolf.

"Yea. It feels like I haven't hunted in forever." Pyro smiled, stomach growling as if in response to Silverwing's comment.

Nevaeh laughed as the pup, Stream, pounced on Shadowhex. "They certainly seem to like you!"

Silverwing padded over to the elk. Shadowhex was sitting there. Silverwing-Moonlight choked. Luckily, Shadowhex was busy. Silverwing ripped off a piece and ate it. She ripped off a piece for Pyro. "I'll go hunt" she said, nuzzling Pyro lovingly. I really do love Pyro. But I don't know what to do. She flew into the forest and disappeared in the trees. Silverwing went to the Dark Sider camp. "I don't want to be a part of the Dark Siders anymore, guys!" she exclaimed. No one can hear things from inside the base. The leader snapped at her and Silverwing-Moonlight tumbled out. She limped to Pyro, seeking his comfort. Silverwing held a few rabbits in her mouth. She dropped them and leaned against Pyro.

Shadowhex picked up Stream and put the laughing pup down. "Well, I am Batflame's cousin, so I spend alot of time with his pack." she said, panting a bit. Stream sat on her back calmly, blinking at Nevaeh at intrest. "Come with me, you two! I have something to show you!" Shadowhex said, stretching her wings.

"Are you okay?" Pyro asked, worried. He had noticed her limp, thinking she had a shard of wood stuck in it or something. "Why don't you lie down and we can eat these rabbits."

"You are his cousin? That's great! It must be nice to have family around." Nevaeh said, feeling slightly jealous that Shadowhex had such a great relationship with Batflame, while she didn't even meet her parents. She shook off the feeling though, she should be happy for Shadowhex. "Okay, little one." Her eyes found Stream, who wanted to show them something. "I'll be happy to come with you."

She lied down beside Pyro. "I'm fine." she said. Silverwing-Moonlight couldn't lie; she had to tell Pyro. "Pyro...?" she murmured. "I can't lie to you.I was once a Dark Sider. I resigned from it so I could be with you..." she whispered, nibbling on a rabbit.

"Yes, it is." she said, remembering that Nevaeh had never met her parents.Shadowhex flew off with Stream on her back, motioning for Nevaeh to follow. "Let's go!" she yelled.

Pyro paused. Silverwing left the Dark Siders to be with him. The phrase ran through his head. "You resigned so you could be with me..." He said, thinking out loud. "I-I don't think anyone has done something so dangerous like that for me ever." Silverwing must really  like him, or maybe even...love him? Pyro buried his muzzle in Silverwing's fur. He didn't care, he was falling in love, and like they say, 'Love is blind.'

"Where are we going?" Nevaeh asked, opening her wings and taking off after Shadowhex and Stream. The warm air brushed her face comfortingly. She really felt at home in the sky.

Silverwing closed her eyes to savour the moment, and she rested her head on Pyro's. "I love you, Pyro." she whispered into his ear.

"Here we are!" Shadowhex exclaimed. She landed on a cliff ledge and let Stream down. "This is Wish Cave." Shadowhex whispered, stepping in. "Each and every wolf with a pure heart can make a wish." she whispered to Nevaeh. "Like you."

Pyro felt like he was floating. She loved him. It felt like a little bubble of bliss surrounded him, making him feel happier than when he escaped from being a slave. "I love you too." Was all he could say, and the words felt so right.

 Nevaeh blushed. "I don't think I have a pure heart. But wishes are fun." She stepped into the cave and closed her eyes. "I don't even know what to wish for." The she-wolf laughed, eyes still closed.

Silverwing felt amazing. He loved her. She loved him. It was all so perfect.

Shadowhex looked at Stream, they nodded. Stream whispered "Your parents."

Of course, nature doesn't wait for love, and Pyro's stomach grumbled again. He smiled. "I guess it's good you got these rabbits." The red and black wolf laughed and bit into one of the creatures, its tender meat giving him more energy.

"Oh, I got one." Nevaeh said, referring to a wish, then squeezed her eyes tighter. I wish I could find out more about my past, more about who I am, and where I came from.

Silverwing nuzzled Pyro again, and bit into a white rabbit. "No problem." she said.

The two wolves looked at each other curiously. They sat down and waited for the explosion of happiness.

Once Pyro had finished his rabbit, he rolled onto his back. "I know I haven't known you for long, Silverwing, but I feel a strong connection. And I realize, I don't know much about you. Would you mind telling me your pasts? Interests? Anything about you? I want to know."

A small bubble of light appeared in the cave. Interested, Nevaeh stepped towards the bubble, but tripped and the tip of her nose touched it. Suddenly a wave of memories washed over her and she couldn't move. Images flickered past behind her eyes.

She was on a cloud, hovering with her small wings as a pup. Her parents looking on proudly. The male, her father, was pure white with large, elegant wings. The mother was a deeper cream, with no wings and spiked fur along her spine. He had forest green eyes, hers were ice blue.

The memory stopped, and pas.sed onto the next.

A group of white wolves and cats, all elegant, surrounded her father. He was giving orders to them, and they were listening. The group of wolves and cats she didn't know all nodded suddenly, then took off in a flurry of feathers and fur.

Then this one stopped, letting the next one go.

The clouds were dark, there was thunder and lightning. Howls were all around. It was a battle. Black winged wolves and cats were attacking the white. Nevaeh's mother had shoved her under a pile of cloud fluff, then went to join the battle. There were several other pups underneath the fluff with her. Some were her siblings, others her friends, but in some way they were all related to her. Suddenly, a black paw reached down, trying to grab Nevaeh. A howl pierced the air as thunder clapped, and her father attacked the wolf, who drew his paw back. Nevaeh's father reached his paw down there and grabbed all the pups. 'It's not safe anymore.' He said and herded them to the edge of the cloud. 'Use your wings and fly away. One by one the pups took off the cloud and out of sight until Nevaeh was left. 'Go daughter. You will return here someday.' Her father said. Nevaeh nodded then jumped off the cloud. Wind battered her face as she flapped, but it was too strong and she began to fall. She hit trees and birds as she fell, until she hit the ground and everything went black.

Nevaeh was wrenched away from the bubble, amazed. She remembered now. She remembered her past, her parents. She had siblings. And there were more of her family, still alive!

Silverwing poked Pyro with her nose. "Of course."

"My real name is Moonlgiht. When I was young. Shadowhex and Batflame were my only friends. My parents were named Meigra and Deshkik. Meigra, my mother was a black-furred wolf. She had bat wings, like Batflame's. Deshkik, my father, had angelic wings, like me." she said, unfolding her huge wings. "I lived on a cliff with my parents and my brother, Fraun. He was white-furred and instead of wings, he had long pointy spines growing from his back like a porcupine. A few other families were with us. The pups with wings were pushed off of the cliff because a large group of Dark Siders came and the parents were forced to do that. We flapped out wings or glided away. I had large wings, so I glided with ease. Shadowhex and Batflame were with me, we flew together. We all ended up in a large forest. All of those who weren't pushed off were forced to fight. They fought to their deaths and there were no survivors. Shadowhex, Batflame and I cried all night that day." she said, a tear slipping. "We survived off of natural instinct. The three of us were forced to learn and take care of ourselves without the comfort and protection of our parents. Batflame said that he would hunt on his own one day, and returned with a bunch of bat-winged wolves. He said "I am in a pack now, good bye, my friends. I will never forget you. And Shadowhex, this group of tigers. They will protect you with their lives. And Moonlight, your guardians are here. This group of bird-winged wolves." I nodded and Shadowhex accepted this as well. Batflame left and returned a few years later. We were all happy to see him. During all those years after Batflame left us, I lived with Moonlight. Batflame said that he would have to go at midnight. A few years after that, I left Shadowhex. She was heart-broken. But I did it anyways, not caring about her. So I flew off that night and left Shadowhex to cry for years. The Dark Siders let me join them, and I stupidly did. Moonlight sent for her guardians and they told her what had happened. I returned so I could kill innocent pups. That's when I found Shadow Pack. As you know, I slammed a rock on an innocent big cat. Using my telekinesis power, I brought a wolf that looked like me for Logan to kill." Moonlight said, feeling sad. "Luckily, he let the wolf go and I was upset at that." she paused and sucked in air. "Then I met you. I thought you were very handsome. So I faked my name. And you know the rest." she said, poking Pyro.

Shadowhex and Stream asked "So? What happened? What did you see?" they asked curiously.

"Wow..." Pyro murmured, entranced by Moonlight's story. He nuzzled her, though, comforting her, as he could tell this was hard for her. "Do you want to hear my story? It's probably not as interesting as yours but..." The dark wolf shrugged.

"I saw my past. My parents and siblings. Where I grew up." Nevaeh whispered excitedly. "I know my parents didn't abandon me, they saved me. My siblings and friends could still be alive, and maybe my birth pack is too!"

"Yes." Moonlight said. She dug her head into his fur,

"Wow," Stream beathed. Shadowhex said "Awesome!" before taking off. stream lept onto her back. "Come on!" the pup said. "Let's go find them!"

Pyro's eyes drifted around the area as he thought of his past.

"I don't know who my parents were." He began, sighing. "Some say that I was born in the pits of hell, that the marks on me prove it, but I don't think so. When I was very young, I was captured by a cruel human. He trained me to fight, to hone my powers and use them for sport. He made me enjoy killing, tearing flesh from other creatures. When I was old enough, he would put me in a deep pit with another creature, a dog or another wolf and sometime a cat, and I would fight them to the death. Other humans watched, cheering for one of us, and I was always victorious. Yet, my human would still whip me and beat me. He hardly fed me, and instead injected me with this medicine that made me grow larger. The human put this shackle on my neck to keep me from running away, but he underestimated my strength. When I was 19, I broke the chain on my shackle and ran off." Pyro paused, growling. "I still regret not killing the human. He deserves it for what he did to me. After I fled, I drifted from place to place, searching, killing, looking for a permanent home. Then I found a pack of coyotes and fought them, but hunger and fatigue over took me and I lost. They drove me away, and I saw Logan and Shadowhex in front of the cave. Nevaeh landed next to me, then Batflame came, and stuff just continued on from there."

The dark wolf finished his story, carefully looking at Moonlight's reaction.

"Okay!" Nevaeh said, excited. She unfolded her wings and took off. "We're looking for a cream wolf with green eyes and large cream bird wings, who is my brother, a white wolf with cream spots and no wings, who is my sister, a white wolf with one blue and one green eye, my other brother, and a blue tiger, who is my best friend."
