Sylvari scoffed. "He doesn't go after men," she said, "sleaze don't lean that way, if you catch my drift." Her black eyes watched him lean his hip against the counter and cross his muscular arms across an even more muscular chest. If it was even possible, her dark eyes became even darker with desire or lust. She just hoped that she wasn't drooling. That would be kind of awkward. She might be half-demonic, but she was also still a woman with her own needs.
"What?" she asked, realizing she missed his question.

I shook my head at her comment; of course I knew what she meant, but it would be kind of uncomfortable living with a guy like that. I chuckled, wondering how the conversation swerved this road.
I finally looked back at Sylvari, her eyes darkening. My smile faded as a moment passed by with out a response. Had I upset her?

She could see his mouth moving, his totally kissable mouth, but no words were coming out. Her thoughts had turned to mush when he did that sexy, biting of the lower lip thing. Suddenly, he was almost in her face, concern in his eyes. Her mind was still blank in forming an answer, all her thoughts on his muscles and those lips.
Before she could rethink what she was doing, her arms were wrapped around his waist and her lips pressed against his in a kiss.

I had just lifted my hand to reach for her shoulder, worry etched in my features, when the girl surprised me with a kiss. My eyes widened in surprise before they slowly drooped closed as I leaned in for another kiss. The hand that was to go on her shoulder was now on the back of her neck, my thumb pushing her chin up to tilt her head.
All of this happened in a matter of seconds before I realized what was happening. I didn't back away from her to increase the distance between our bodies but I did lean my head up, surprise brightened my eyes as I looked down at her. My lips tingled and I wasn't sure whether to smile, keep the kiss going, or make a run for it, so I kept the speechless ex pression instead.

When he had responded to her kiss, she leaned in closer and felt his hand cupped the back of her head with his thumb brushing against her jaw, pushing her chin up as the kiss deepened. Just as she was sure to moan, he lifted his head, making her whimper. And when he looked down at her, his face was blank.
Did... Did she offend him in some way? Sylvari wasn't as experienced with men like other women would be. "Travis?" she asked slowly, unsure.

"Travis?"
I blinked and finally took my hand away from her face, my hands awkwardly hanging by my sides. I fought the blush that came to my cheeks, my lips tingling and red from the previous kiss. Fidgeting a bit with my collar, I gave her a crooked smile. "Uh... Wow." The words slipped passed my lips more breathlessly, feeling a bit speechless and confused.
I leaned back on the counter, creating more distance. "Sorry." I apologized for stopping the kiss. Or for my reaction. I'm not really sure. "Being alone. Me sleeping over. It was just the spurr of the moment." I said, hoping we felt the same way about it. To me, it was a mistake. Nevermind the fact that we were completely different, our kind was even enemies with the other, but I just met her. I wouldn't want to give her the wrong idea, and then leave out of nowhere to run away from my coven.

She felt the hand on her face moved away and dropped to his side. Her eyes narrowed and she removed her arms from his waist before crossing them against her chest. Wow? Was that all he could say? Well, apparently, she spoke to soon when he apologized about it. But the last one felt like a dagger in her back. Her eyes flashed with hurt before she hid it away.
Sylvari lowered her head, black eyes on the white linoleum flooring. "Its fine," she mumbled even though it obviously wasn't. Moving around Travis, she started towards her room. "I'm going to go get dressed. I have work today."

My eyebrows furrowed in confusion at her reaction. What? Did she not think the same? She told me it was fine and walked away, making me feel both shocked and confused. I was a vampire! It wasn't normal for vampire's to sleep in the same house as her kind, nonetheless kiss them. Was it not just a mistake? It was for me.
I would kill to know what was going on in her head because I couldn't think of any other reason for what happened just moments ago. Chewing on my lip, I sighed as I made my way to the guest room to get any belongings of my own (If he brought any, not sure. |D ). I guess this meant I was going to do as the girl said; just move around every so often until my coven soon forgets me.

OoC://
He didn't have anything with him when Sylvari ran into him.

As she walked to her bedroom, she could feel her eyes tear up as her vision became blurry with them. Sylvari closed the door and rested her back against the wood before slowly sliding down as the tears started down her cheeks. He couldn't see that she was attracted to him? Stupid oblivious vampire male. Her chest heaved in a silent sob and then her entire room was coated in a thick la yer of ice.
"My daughter," said a deep, male voice accented in an ancient language forgotten to time and coloured with concern for his daughter. "My daughter, why do you weep?" She was suddenly swept up off her butt into a hug of scales and feathers. Even though they were covered by a thin la yer of ice, the embrace contained a father's warmth.
"Because men can be so oblivious to those around them," she said, burying her face into her dad's bare, but comforting chest. His strong heartbeat helping to dry the tears in her eyes. When his chest vibrated in a chuckle, she glanced up at his face with her brows furrowing in confusion.
"Men have always been oblivious to things. Even I have been susceptible to it throughout my lifetime," Shax rumbled, craning his neck down to gently kiss her forehead. "But do not let it get to you, my dear." He moved over to her desk chair, setting her on the seat as he knelt before her. His tail lay still on the ice and his wings furled up tightly against his back. "I am always here if you need me."
Sylvari nodded and watched as her father vanished in a swirl of ice-coloured shadows with a smile on his lips.
