((Aw, bai, I'll just post this now)) "Okay Gwen, time to work" the vampire told herself as she walked toward the stage. The small bar was somewhat crowded tonight, the air was thick and hot and musty not something she enjoyed but something she was used to. Stepping up onto the stage she squinted slightly as a stage light flicked on shining down brightly on her. "Tone it down" she muttered before approaching the mike. She smiled, looking out over the crowd that had quieted a bit when she stepped up. "Evening all" she said happily. "My name is Gwendolyn, as many of you know, and I'll be entertaining you all tonight with a few songs." A small bout of cheering started up making her smile grow. She turned back to the band and gave a short nod, a slow rhythmic music started up and after a short instrumental she began to sing.

((I'm back. And please forgive me if my RPing is a bit rusty. I haven't really RPed in about a year. D8)) Aris stood in the far corner, watching the crowd. None of them were vampires, except for two, whom she vaguely recognized. She narrowed her eyes before turning her attention to the vampire on stage. She was very pretty, Aris noted. Extremely pretty. Aris bit the inside of her lip. It would not do to get attached, not now. Aris turned her head in a violent gesture. A wave of vertigo overcame her. She needed to feed. Now. Aris's eyes fixed on a young woman in the crowd. She was small, fair, and brunette. Aris caught her scent over all the other scents in the crowd. Delicious. Come here. The woman turned her head, as if to look for the source of the compulsion. Come here. As if in a daze, the woman made her way through the crowd. Come with me. Aris took the woman's hand and led her out a side door into an empty alley, only stopping to glance longingly over her shoulder at the woman on stage.

Gwendolyn's song set was over soon. She smiled and gave a little bow to the crowd before turning and walking off stage. "Well" she mused to herself. "Who woulda thunk there'd be other vampires here?" she laughed quietly. She emergered from backstage and moved over to the bar, sitting down to chat with the short balding bar tender. For a moment she looked back over her shoulder, spotting the two male vampires she smiled, they seemed a bit familiar, then she looked to the door, the other vampire, the female had left, that girl that had gone with her had probably been a snack. She turned back to the bar tender and continued her conversation.

Aris's fangs delicately pierced the woman's neck. She moaned in ecstasy, blood welling in her mouth. The dizziness abated as she drank more and more. The woman's pulse slowed, almost to the point of stopping. Aris stopped before that could happen. She bit her wrist, the woman's blood still on her mouth. She held her blood up to the woman's mouth. The woman resisted at first, but then gave in to the temptation. The woman drank eagerly. Aris pulled her wrist away, and placed one finger on the woman's forehead. "Remember... nothing..." The vampire stood, wiped the blood off of her wrist and mouth, and headed back into the bar.

Gwendolyn turned when the door to the bar opened again and smiled at the other vampire woman. She waved and got up from her bar side seat walking over. "Hey there" she said moving through the crowd to aproach the woman. "How're you?" she decided she'd start up a conversation, it wasn't every day she got to meet other vampires. Hopefuly this girl was nice.

Aris looked at Gwendolyn and smiled, showing slightly sharp canines. "My night is perfect now," she said, laughing slightly. Even her ice-blue eyes seemed to twinkle. ((Wow that sounded so much like a bad pick-up line, which it totally was. LOL.))

"I'm going to guess you know my name... if not it's Gwendolyn, but anyway it's your name I want to know" she said. "I don't think I've seen you around here before" she seemed to talk more to herself with this coment. "I'm pretty sure I would've remember you" she nodded to herself. "Yeah, I wouldn've remembered you."
