Calyx could hardly contain her excitement. Her tail was wagging up a tornado as she stood at her human's door, her nose pointing to the small window at the top. Her humans should be arriving any moment now!
She was starting to get tired, staying in one spot for so long, when she heard the creature's pawsteps coming up onto the porch. All tiredness forgotted, she started to bark like mad with happiness. This day was different. Her human had promised to take her to some new park, with lots of new smells and other dogs. It seemed like the human didn't forget either, and she could of sworn that he was excited as she was. But all humans were the same, it was hard to tell the difference. He picked up my favorte leash; black leather completed with with red stones decorating it. The best part was that it matched her collar. After a good miles walk, they arrived. The place was wonderful, like the humans didn't even touch it! The only thing fake was the fence and some small foutain waterfalls. Her human took off the leash, seeing that she couldn't go anywhere because of the fence, and she started to explore. -nothing for Ghost-

Spirit walked along the alley,that was between two resterants that usually gave her scrapes,and waited for them to throw the food that was left out into the alley so she could have something to eat and wouldn't starve to death.
Dark barked at his owner so eager to go to the new that he forgot how much he hated his owner.Dark's owner bent down to put his black leash onto his black collar and then they walked out the door straight to the new park.

Giva stood against a tree in the park, trying to hide from the sun. She saw many new dogs entering the area, and they seemed to be purebreds. She sighed and laid her ears back, but decided it would be best to make some new friends. She got up, but sat right back down, knowing she would be rejected by the purebreds.

Amor stood at the door of his home. He peered over to his owner, who was preparing for the walk, and sighed. After a few minutes, he looked again, and his owner was on her way and hooked the leash on his blue collar. He jumped up and barked, his tail whipping back and forth. His owner opened the door, and Amor bolted through, almost forgetting he was on a leash. His owner muttered a word, and that word was, "Heel!" He listened loyally and padded over to his owner's side.

Calyx wagged her tail, walking up to random dogs and sniffing them. So many new smells! Stumbling upon Amor, and put herself between him and his human, sniffing him happily. her tail smacked the humans, erm, place. [I really hope his owner is female.] "Who're you? Do you come her often? Whats your breed? Are you a dude? I'm Calyx! Who're you?" she asked excitedly, talking fast. Ghost padded around, his ears bouncing with every step. With a bl

Cookie looked up from her spot in the bushes and saw the new dog park, all finished and only just being touched. She so wanted to play with them. Wait... Why not? Bounding out, Cookie's black and white fur became a blur as she leapt the fence and almost slammed into a few other dogs. Her tail was wagging and soon, her whole body was almost wagging with it. Jumping around in delight, Cookie couldn't help but feel more free in this confined space with lots of humans and other dogs than anywhere else. Cookie's large ears picked up lots of human gibberish and dog chatter. Trotting up to a white german shepherd [Calyx], she attempted to have fun with her by getting into a play-bow.

Shadow lay down in her comfy pet bed wen her owner whistled for her. "Come on, Shadow. Time to wake up." This pretty much happened every morning, but this time, she really wasn't up to it. With a whine, the golden did not want to budge. She had had a pretty rough week. "Don'tcha wanna go see the dog park?" her owner pressed. Hearing the word 'dog', she wagged her tail and lifted her head. "Good girl, c'mon, let's go! Let's go!" She leaped up. Shadow loved being a good dog. Her owner clipped on a blue leash that happily matched her blue collar, and off they went.
Walking pleasantly by her human's side, Shadow soon arrived at the dog park. Ahhh, so this was where she was going! Shadow was unclipped as she wagged her tail and went out into the green expanse.

Calyx scented a new dog behind her. She let out a playful yip, bowing also. But something was different about this dog. she didn't smell of humans, more like the alleyways. But she tackled her none the less, play biting her.

After the breeders that owned her couldn't sell her for anything, they just dumped her on the side of the road as soon as she was weaned. She doesn't remember much or her time living as a purebred, but she doesn't mind. They all were bad memories. She was found on the side of a street by River, who in turn raised her with his own family.

Skye's eyes fluttered open, lifting her head up from her front paws. She stood and stretched, yawning also, before walking out of her small clearing in the bushes. Skye trotted through a wooded area of the park, the cool air running through her slightly matter fur. She looked left and right, a bounce in her step. Skye was in a.. weirdly happy mood today. Skye arrived at the lake soon, the calm surface shining like a mirror. Skye glanced around, checking for any other dogs and then lapped up some of the refreshing liquid before leaping into the lake, her tail wagging vigorously under the water. She swam round the edge of the lake once, then hauled herself out of the lake, onto the muddy bank. She shook off her fur, sending more water everywhere, much to the disgust of a passing runner. Skye trotted along the edge of a path towards the field. Instead of going out into the open, Skye stayed around the shadier edge, her damp fur keeping her cool in the heat of the day. She laid down, closing her eyes lightly, letting out a contempt sigh.

Ace rolled onto his back on his new, soft bed. Sneezing, he looked towards the door. Oh how he wished his humans would come back. Then Ace heard a door shutting. His humans! Jumping up, Ace's tail wagged so fast and hard, that soon both his tail and bum shook. He barked wildly at the door. The doorknob turned and door flung open, a small girl bursting through. "Ace!" She screamed, throwing her arms around his neck, "Look what I got you!" The little girl unzipped her pink suitcase and yanked out a collar with Hawaiian patterns all over it. She promptly clipped it around Ace's neck, her parents now bustling through, suitcases full of foreign things. The girl clapped excitedly, "Look mommy! It looks really pretty, Ace!" Ace was practically bursting with happiness as he licked his humans to death. "Oh boy! I think you need a walk!" The male human said, lifting a brown leather lead off a rack and clipping to Ace's new collar, "I hear there's a new dog park. Sweetie, do you mind taking Ace for a walk? I'll unpack with Gracie." He said, talking to the older female.
Ace practically dragged her to this new park, following the scent. As they arrived, he was unclipped. Ace sprinted forward, full speed. He ran towards an excitable white German Shepherd and a.. very smelly dog. She must be a.. stray. Ace slowed down to a comftable, bouncing trot. "Hello there.." Ace said in a civilised voice, holding his head proudly and grinning, trying to ignore the fact there was a stray nearby, his tail wagging gently, "My name is Ace."

Diablo strode the park, his ears perked forward and his gait slightly proud. His owner, a young teen by this time, was sitting on a bench with her friends while she allowed him off of his leash because he was a good dog. He padded over towards Purebred Rock, ears pulled back slightly as he lay down on one of the stones. He was awfully bored... Would something...exciting happen soon?

Meanwhile, Grace was carefully moving through the dog park, her head lowered slightly as her icy blue eyes scanned the area. She wodnered briefly if anyone would take pity on her and take her in...but then again she was also a mutt so she doubted it. It wasn't long before the large dog decided to just lay on the ground with ehr head on her paws, eyes closed.
((By the way Grace is indeed huge. xD; I'm 5'3" and when she's on her back paws she's taller than I am. xD)) |

Cookie wrestled with Calyx right back, then stopped abruptly as she turned over to another dog who introduced himself as Ace. Her ears perked up with happiness and she gladly spoke in a reply. "My name is Cookie!" she gleamed. Her dad used to call her Oreo, but she didn't really knew what that was. Cookie sensed something from Ace that was a sort of uneasiness... or disgust, maybe? It was something. Was it because of her?
--- Dak, being his rambunctious puppy self, burst around through the park which he had just established as his home. He would live here forever! He then saw a really big dog over by herself [Grace] and decided to play with her. What a fun ball of fur! The big dogs were always the best to play with, and to Dak, they weren't scary. Sometimes he even felt that they were more cautious with younger ones than regular dogs. Bouncing around this one, Dak yipped happily, "Hi there! Whatcha doin'? Wanna play a game?"

Calyx shook her beautiful white fur and gave a lick to her chest-fluff, assuming a sitting position. Her tail wagged slightly, rustling fallen leaves and swishing up dirt. Perking her ears forward, she looked over to yet another new dog. This place was awesome. "I'm Calyx," She woofed to them both with a twitch of her ears. Her tongue lolled out of her mouth as she panted, still calming down after that small game with Cookie.
