"Staffs?" Brykelle cocked her head sharply, confused. "Creatu don't have staffs. ...Do we?" She looked around, standing up hesitantly as she did. "I've never seen a creatu with a staff before. Why do you have staffs?" She paused. "Excuse the amount of questions...It's just that...staffs?" Her ears swiveled quickly, listening to creaks of all the leaks in the building, still wishing she had her wings. But perhaps the scientists who had genetically altered their bodies had decided that she would be too much of a freak with wings. But then again, she was already a complete and utter freak, so they should've been smarter. Maybe they knew that they would wake up at one point, and they didn't want Brykelle flying away? She could never know.

Sinvad sighed heavily, scratching the back of his neck while looking at the dark-skinned chimby with furrowed brows. "Mihre's right," he said with a heavy sigh, straightening up from his crouch, holding out a hand to help the damp chimby up off the floor. "This place is strange to all of us. None of us seem to remember anything." He pauses, glancing back to Croma and Siame, pursing his lips. All around, the room still smelt of death and decay, and he gave a small shudder. "Can you carry him, Croma? We need to free the others that are left and get out of here. This place gives me the creeps."

The Chimby snorted behind his hand, getting out some of the liquid from his nasal pa.ssages. "...Oh." He frowned, stepping away from the broken gla.ss. "We should find a human. Maybe they can help us?" Looking around for signs of more life, his gaze fell upon the black Zenirix in one of the other tubes. "They're all dead, aren't they?" He stepped up to the female's containment unit, pressing a hand to the gla.ss. A whispered nothing breathed past his lips. Were they the only ones? We can't be, he thought. There has to be more like them. "We should try and see if some of these are still alive. Maybe I--" He cut himself off, staring down at his hand. As a Chimby, he held his species's natural upper body strength...right? He vaguely rememembered having a mean right hook, something the others at his old master's Chimby ranch possessed as well. Did he still have it? Probably not, he replied to his own question, whatever they did to me could have made me weak... "Stand back," he whispered, his warning quiet and not at all attempting to be loud. He reared back and snapped his fist forward against the tube's face, exerting all his strength against the gla.ss with a sharp cry. "Nhagh!"

The lime gonrda startled at the loud crack the chimby's fist made against the gla.ss, his attention snapping back to the container where the female Zenirix was. He flinched as he watched the gla.ss bow beneath the strike, long, thin and jagged cracks crinkling along its surface, threatening to break, though it didn't. The Zenirix slept on, her eyes closed, but the panel at her side began to beep and chirp wildly in its distress. The soft light that glowed from beneath her changed colors, turning a murky red, and Sinvad thought he saw the female's fingers twitch. "Be careful," he said urgently to the Chimby. "Don't hurt her too..."

Startling at the sudden beeping alarm, the Chimby took a step back, rubbing his knuckles. "An alarm?" He glanced at Sinvad, frowning, "But this place seems so...broken." He sighed and shook his head. Now was not the time to ask questions. The red lighting could mean that the life support was failing the Zenirix. She needed their help. "Help me, Gondra." He didn't remember if he caught Sinvad's name or not. "Stand there, and when I break the gla.ss, you grab her before she falls." Motioning for Sinvad to stand next to the tube instead of in front of it, he returned to his station. Winding up for another strong punch, he hit the gla.ss. And again. And again.
