Staggering slightly, the black Chimby regained his balance, raising his gaze to the fierce Zenirix. "We are alone here. The humans who defiled us are absent," he said, narrowing his eyes as he took a step back. "Calm yourself, we mean you no harm. We are merely trying to survive." Quietly offeringhis hand, he raised his head, trying to scrounge what dignity he had left. "I am Mente," he offered with a straight face. "What is your name?"

[D: Dj, there's plenty you can do! There's a bunch of characters Mihre can interact with. I mean, she could go try and see what's wrong with Siame, she could comment on the zenirix's words like everyone else is doing, she could introduce herself to the Zenirix, she could try and calm the zenirix down, she could talk with any of the other characters...? There's a lot going on, if you think about it. If you want to quit, though, you may. I will remove Mihre if you wish. :T]

((I'll see what she can do.)) Mihre just sort of stared at the Zenirix, face blank and surprised. "Did she just...?" Her words floated for a second. "Hit Sinvad or something...?" Mihre's ear twitched angrily as if to say, What's wrong with you? I don't care if you're new and scared. No one has a right to hurt others for no reason, especially if they're trying to help you! She raised her tail slightly, irritate, but lowered it because the Zenirix would probably go beserk eventually. So Mihre simply glared at the Zenirix, as if waiting for an explaination.

[I'm now allowing images in the bios, guys, but they have to be original art! You don't have to be the artist, but it must be custom to your character. <3]

It was cold, cold and wet... and the surfaces were harder than Cylia remembered. She was sat, her back pressed firmly against one of the jammed machines, one slender hand providing a resting place for a lock of silken lilac hair. This wasn't possible. She shouldn't have hair... nor should she have a body like this. She allowed her eyes to wander again over the new and far more human-like curves she now possesed. She sighed quietly, turning her face to look at the tube that had released her not long ago, even though she struggled to truly see it. The corridor was dark, with only a small number of randomly flashing lights here and there, although that had not stopped her noticing herself at all. The moment she had awoken in this... this place, she had spotted herself directly ahead, her blazing bright blue reflected in the gl*censored* before her. Human?... no... humans did not have scales and wings... she was... something else... something, somewhere in the middle... Cylia's mind began to wander again, she'd sat herself up once she'd been dropped out of her container, but hadn't moved since... this entire situation was just too strange and she was finding it hard to take anything in... She released her strand of hair, allowing it to flutter in place behind her, thinking mostly about how tender her skin felt in this form... her scales weren't as heavy as they used to be, and everything that touched her felt almost sharp. She sighed once again... what should she do?... she stopped thhe thought almost immediately, her head turning to face the ceiling above her... vioces? human voices?... She made to pull herself onto her new legs, wincing slightly at the sensation she wasn't used to, and continued to listen to those above her. She had to find them, if there was any chance of her not being alone in this place. She took her first few unsteady steps, heading towards the end of that dark corridor, hoping to find a way to the floor above.

( Hmm. o-o ) Brykelle stood up, then trotted towards the stairs. "Someone's coming." she said, and then she scurried to hide behind Mihre. "Maybe it's a scientist..." She brushed her hair away from her face, then looked over at Sinvad. "What should we do?" Honestly, Brykelle thought. I don't think anyone knows what to do anymore. I'm confused, scared, and tried. I wonder if everyone else feels that way... Watching them, she actually thought they all seemed pretty brave and confident. But, of course, she had no idea if they felt the same way as her. Her tail twitched slightly.

Cylia stopped for a second once she heard the sounds of footsteps above. She couldn't be sure who these creatures were afterall... she hesitated, and that was all it took to pull her back to the ground. This room clearly had not been cared for in the past... Cylia could see immediately. Every other being in this corridor was no longer living... had she been stuck in her forsaken tomb any longer she would have turned out the same way. Her new body just wasn't wanting to listen to her... the weakness in her muscle was enough to warn her how close she had come to her life ending in this darkness. She tried, and failed to raise herself again... ack... she had no strength, the dust and hardness of the floor and wall of this place once again pushing against her new and weakened skin. She shifted herself, allowing her hair to partially cover her face. Keeping her breathing slow and closing her eyes, she continued to listen to the sounds above her, sounding so close yet feeling so far.

The female zenirix shifted the weight of her feet, feeling the thick, rough pads against the undersides of her heel and toes while her gaze wandered slowly over the dusty decay of the room. She said nothing to Mente at first, inhaling the scent of the death and blood that surrounded her, and she was suprised to find that each of these creatu smelled of their original forms, not their human mutations. At the extended hand, she growled, smacking his hand away with a bark. "I have no name you can pronounce with your human tongue," she snarled, shoving him back away from her. "I am wild, and I will not be reduced to a human name!" Standing once again, Sinvad flared his wings, stepping closer with a small growl of his own. In the faint light, the dark shadowing of a bruise on his cheek was visible from where she'd stuck him. "Look, zenirix, we are alone here! The only chance we have to survive is if we stick together, so you better start acting like a team player, like a pack mate, or we will leave you you here to rot. You are either an ally or an enemy, and quite frankly, I don't want to see anyone get hurt. There are more of us than you." The zenirix fell silent, looking between each of the creatures. His words rang true, and even if she meant to abandon them later, she needed them now. "Sitera," she said quietly, flicking her ears back, her tail swishing softly behind her. "That is what you may call me." The sound of Cylia's footsteps carried easily to her ears, even as they folded against her skull, and before Brykelle spoke, she had turned her eyes to the fallen form nearby. Moving past Sinvad, she pushed him back out of her path before reaching down, grasping Cylia's arm to pull her to her feet. "Get up," she growled, holding the girl up. "There is no time for weakness." [Why not bring in Snowsong...?]

Breathing a sigh of relief, Brykelle stepped towards the new female, holding her hand out just in case she would need help. Her tail swished behind her, and her ears flickered back and forth, listening to each sound made, including the hum of a machine beside her. It frightened her just the slightest bit, but she dared not show it. The rest of the creatu-humans didn't seem scared, so she wouldn't be, either. "What's your name?" Brykelle asked the new female, pulling her hand back to her side. "My name is Brykelle."

Cylia flinched at the harsh grasp of another being, opening her eyes to see the zenerix in her altered state. As weak as Cylia was, she despised attitudes like hers... then again, Cylia had always been a team player, perhaps it was just the clash of lifestyle. She made a small sound that came out as a "tch...", and then, with more strength than she thought possible, pulled her slim arm out of the zenerix's grasp, ignoring the nagging ache that accompanied her now standing form and turning her head slightly to fix the being with a cold glare. "I think i can manage... thank you..." her voice was calm, and again, filled with more strength than she'd have thought. This one sentence caused her mind to go into overdrive... she was speaking like a human? Before Cylia so much as pondered this further she was inturrupted by another of the mutated creatu's, one who seemed far warmer to her than the other. She shot another slightly angry glance at the zenerix, before turning back to face the one who had named herself Brykelle. She smiled lightly... she wasn't alone... that was something atleast. "Cylia... My name, is Cylia" She replied slowly, one lilac forearm getting lost in her hair as she pushed the mas.s of human matter behind her.

((Eh. I have enough. And anyways, I dunno if I could describe him.)) Croma watched as the Zenirix introduced herself, and glanced over at the azure Gondra that had collapsed on the ground. When she introduced herself as Cylia, Croma rose from her crouch, and tilted her head, inspectively. "I'm Croma. And my unconsious partner is Siame." She flicked her tail, and stepped forward, righting her head. She extended her paw toward the Gondra. "Nice to meet you, Cylia." ~~~ Awrie lifted her head from the ground. She flicked her ears to catch the faint sound of voices below. She sniffed, only to find that the scent was faint. It should be stronger. I should be able to smell more. She opened her eyes, and saw a puddle where her head had been, she gasped in shock. My face! My mane! My beautiful mane! It's..human hair! She looked at what she thought was her front paws, and laid her ears back in disgust. "They've changed me..Into a freak!" She stod on all fours, and realized that her hind feet, now her only feet, were still Meiko. She spread her wings to balance herself as she rose to a crouch. "At least I still have my wings. And my snout. But my smell, its lessened." She swiveled her ears again to catch more talking. "And my ears. I still have my ears. And hearing." She stood, again flaring her wings to balance herself. She started toward the stairs, only to be unbalanced, and fell to her knees. She gasped in pain and closed her eyes. "I can't do this."

Mihre snorted. "Of course," she meowed-said. Then she cocked her head to the new female. "Welcome to prison, Cylia," she said with a grin. It was true, as far as they knew. Her tattered wings fluttered weakly against the table beside her. She reached out a hand to the female. "Yes you can," she told her reas-suringly. Mihre's golden eyes glimmered sympathetically as she helped the Meiko-girl up.

Cylia was quite taken aback by the amount and friendliness of the welcomes coming from these other beings, although, she as.sumed, it probably had something to do with them all being in the same situation. They hadn't asked for this, they'd all been pushed into this, none of them really understanding why or how... It was only natural they wanted to stick together. She mentally shook off that train of thought, her blue eyes taking in each of those creatu who introduced themselves to her, ignoring that constant ache that had amplified in her legs. She most definately was not used to this... "It is nice to meet you also, Croma" Cylia replied, grasping the other beings hand gently and running a sympathetic eye over the one named Siame. "Will he be alright?..." She asked, nodding towards the unconcious male. When the Ebilia creatu had greeted her, she nodded lightly in response. Prison huh?... that sounded about right so far...

Mente frowned and lowered his hand, glaring icily at the Zenirix. "This tongue is no longer creatu, but it is not human...eh." Waving his hand, he turned away from Sitera, his rounded ears flicking towards the approach of the newcomer. Huh, he frowned to himself, two colored gondras in one place...? This facility must have collected them... Uncomfortable without his own kin around him, he chose to ignore them for the moment. Heaving an irritated sigh, he glanced over the new group, counting heads, his eyes flickering from face to face Two gondras, one ebilia, one zenirix, two roditores, one veram and---wait. A sound reached him, something quiet and pained. Narrowing his eyes, he stalked off, seeking out the distant voice his sharp Chimby ears pick up. It didn't take him long to find the Meiko. He stopped several paces from her, looming over her crumpled form. "What are you doing on the floor? Get up." He quietly commanded, his long whiplike take swishing casually behind him. It was cold in this room, probably because it lacked the warmth of body heat the other had accumulated with the group. His fur coat didn't keep his body as warm as it used to, and he'd yet to find anything to wear. "There are others like you here," he snapped impatiently, raising his chin with a frown. "We all are suffering as you are, Meiko," he said before adding sternly, "If we can do it, you can too."
