Mente quieted at the zenirix's command, focusing on Sitera's concerns and blatantly ignoring all the others. He closed his eyes, ears standing erect and twitching from side to side, moving independently from one another as though each were its own being. He could hear the slow scrape of scales, the foreboding chatter of claws. Something big was on its way, that was for sure, and judging by the broken gla.ss tubes that stink of blood surrounding them, it wasn't friendly.

Without a word or gesture to the others, Mente started to step back. His jaw was set and tail tense, ready to lash out if need be. The others don't seem to be moving yet, but they had gotten their warning. No, the black Chimby wouldn't be caught by whatever it was. He silently made his way to one of the many doors to try the doorknob, his human-like hands clumsy at first, but he adapted fast and manged to jiggle the door loose.

It was an empty office lab, raided clean of furniture and the only thing remaining was dust and grime. Damn. Backing out, Mente reached for another door to try that one out. There has to be an exit somewhere, but which door is it...?

Mihre stared at the ceiling. "Crap." she hissed. Her bony tail lashed against the goo-splattered floor, sending up a few drops of the stuff. Mihre turned back to the others. "Ahh, why don't we just break out. I couldn't care less about security at this point." she said, smiling slyly. Her claws clicked against the countertop deviously.

She walked up to the door. "Someone has to come if we attract them, right?" she asked the group with a grin. "Well when they do..." Mihre purred.

Croma helped Sinvad lift Siame, though even with their combined efforts, he was still heavy to her. She lifted her ears slightly at Sitera's warning, listening carefully for any sounds that she may have missed. She heard the slight scrape of scales over the ground, and growled a bit, out of habit.

((I don't even know what happened to Siame. XD. Guess i need to find out, huh?))

Awrie oricked her ears as the sound of scraping scales and clicking claws reached her. She stood away from the wall, ready to defend not the whole group, but herself. She wasn't going to become food for someone else. Her wings were folded close to her body, so she could move quickly, at a moment's notice, with little wind opposition.

((I don't. It might die.)).

[Well, we need to break during the holidays, or we'll lose people. It won't die, I promise, so long as you guys promise to come back after the holidays. 8T]

 Sitera fluffed her fur up, letting it stand on end as she let out a soft, whisper of a growl. She backed away from the source of the sound, flicking her tail in agitation while, behind her, Sinvad was helping Croma lead Siame to the exit that they'd come through. The staircase was there, and it would take them to the surface. The lack of windows, and the musky smell of the above room they'd come in suggested that they were underground, and the gondra's natural flying instinct told him which way was up and which way was down. He called quietly to Mente, trying to draw his attention. "Oi, Mente...The exit is this way. Come on, everyone, and be quiet."

Cylia had been waiting on a reply from the black zenerix, clearly however, whatever she saw as a threat was currently taking up most of her time and senses, so Cylia abandoned the idea, looking around for a second time at the creatures that had gathered. She spotted the black chimby trying to find a way out by his lonesome, and felt a very sarcastic smile come to her face. Obviously... not everyone here were pack creatu... or atleast they didn't seem to be acting that way.

Eventually, her attention was once again drawn to the lime gondra as he spoke. Looks like they were finally getting out of her. She glanced back once at the zenerix, then quickly started to follow the gondra and the unconcious rodi, moving with a quiet grace and speed that came naturally to her agile species.

When Brykelle's head registered the fact that they were leaving now, she quietly followed the rest, cowering the whole way. All she wanted to do was leave, and now that they were, she wanted to shove everyone forward and hiss, "Move faster!" but they had been told to be quiet, so she merely continued to walk with the rest of the group.

So then, Brykelle thought. not everyone wants to stick together. She looked back at the black Chimby, blinking once. Hopefully, he'll survive and not get caught by one of those awful humans. Wanting to be on your own isn't a crime. She caught up with Cylia, walking next to her now.

Sighing and abandoning his task, the Chimby followed at Sinvad's call, but kept a pace apart from the others. He didn't speak, deliberately not paying any mind to the other creatu. He could feel their gazes brieftly settling on him, but it didn't bother him in the slightest. What did bother him was the sound of the unknown beast lurking in the shadows, drawing his attention to the point that he seemed incredibly distracted and a little anxious. Mente kept toward the back of the group, bringing up the rear, and he constantly checked over his shoulder to be sure that thing wasn't following them...

((Well, then...))

Mihre walked silently. She sheathed her claws and shot a glance at the Chimby, but decided to ignore him. Her wings folded so they wouldn't hit anyone (they usually did such things) and lowered her bony tail with a bush of fluff on its tip.

She yawned, wishing she was able to press everyone forward and just pour out so the quiet, slightly suspenseful moment would be over.
