The night was cool and silent, the wind travelling through the air to brush a young girl's hair gently. She stood tall above Death City, looking down upon the almost sleeping town. All about the town were shifts of men working towards fixing the ruins that had been created with the Kishin's revival. Chaos had ravaged the world but a bunch of kids who had training from Lord Death had managed to defeat the Kishin for good. Unfortuneatly that wasn't enough to banish the chaos from the beings inhabiting this world. Some caved to the evil and now many creatures were born that were bent on destroying anything good and happy, not to mention the witches that still attacked every so often. This particular girl, who was standing upon the middle of the three spikes atop of Death Meister Acadamy, had been away for quite a long time. Not many people besides a few select amount of teachers had any clue to who she was, and she liked it that way. She wore an outfit of deep purple, the tube top tight fitting and her skirt down to her ankles. In her hand she held a scythe that was her partner in battle. Her long black hair blended with the dark night but her pale skin glowed softly in the moonlight. On her journeys, this girl knew it to be dangerous walking about with her soul as strong as it was so she always kept it hidden, but now that she was home she finally let her defenses down. The only thing she forgot was the fact that to most it felt like a witches' soul and that hardly a person here knew who she was. "Isn't it good to be home, Angel?" She whispered to the scythe, her voice light and music like.

Jake awoke with a start as the strong presence of a mysterious being suddenly appeared. "Soul protect... A WITCH!" He exclaimed, jumping out of bed. He rushed out of his room and began to bang on the door of his Meister Taro. "Wake up! There's a witch about. I feel her soul near the Acadamy!" He banged on the door, trying to wake up Taro.

((Fail)) 

 The loud noise broke his peaceful sleep. Taro rolled lazily off his bed, and rolled towards the door. He reached up to grab the knob, but couldn't. He rolled on his back and looked under the door. " Taro's not here right now, can I take a message?" he said through the door. Taro yawned and stood up, grabbing a shirt. He opened the door, and looked at Jake. " Whaaat?" he said, rubbing his eye, lazily.

Angel closed her eyes. The memories they had spent together swirled in her head. She opened them once more. " Yeah, I guess." she said,her ebony hair falling over her left eye.((FAIL ON ANGEL'S PART IM SO SORRY.))

Jake growled and grabbed Taro by the back of the neck, pulling him into a headlock to give him a knuckle sandwich. "You idiot! There is a witch who is probably getting ready to attack Lord Death right now!! Get your butt in gear! I can't fight by myself you know!" He growled, letting go of his partner to pull on a jacket. "Come on, we gotta gooo!" He said, trying to rush his meister into moving faster. 

Jade smiled at her partner. "Are you going to stand up here with me or do I have to carry you the whole time?" She laughed, the sound like silver bells in the winter time. "Come out and stand with me, the breeze feels great." She looked down at the scythe in her hand.

A quick flash and Angel was out in her normal form. She looked down at the city. The breeze brushed gently against her face. She smiled. " It....feels nice." she said. She looked up at her meister. " Where do we go from here?" she asked, looking down at the city, then up at Jade.

Taro growled, and in one quick move, flipped his weapon over. Taro shook his head, his hair going into its normal shaggy state." God, stop dragging me every place. I had a rough night, with all of your noises you were making." he growled. taro sighed. " Now, explain what's happening?"

"I felt the presence of a witch at the Acadamy. She appears to be rather strong, Lord Death might be in danger." Jake said, knowing that what he was saying might have sounded like an exaggeration, but it wasn't. The soul he felt, could easily grow to match that or Lord Death himself. Somebody that powerful could easily take out the Reaper especially after the many injuries suffered during the Kishin attack. In a small flash of light, Jake had switched from his human form into a sword like blade. "We haven't much time to waste, you know." Jake sighed, this being one of the times when he wished the Taro was the weapon instead.

"I don't know. I was thinking that we could pay a visit to my father. What do you think." Jade smiled, despite the feeling of unrest in the city. She could feel that a few people had noticed the sudden appearence of her soul but she didn't actually think that anyone would come to investigate. She figured they were all still tired from the Kishin who was here. She looked about the town, trying to decide what she wanted to do first. 

Angel looked at her meister's face. " Yes, I'd like to see Lord Death once more, Jade. It's been ages since the last time I've seen him." The wind brushed against her face once more, blowing her hair over her left, violet eye.A strange feeling of being noticed waved through her. She shook it off and looked down at the city.

Taro shook his head once more. " Okay, fine. Lead the way." he growled. He was tired, and just wanted to sleep in.

"Alright, then it is decided. We shall go pay him a visit." Jade laughed, taking one last look out at her home hown. So many memories flashed through her mind as her eyes scanned the city. 

Jake's face flashed into view in the silver blade. "It's a bit hard with out legs, stupid." He chuckled, pulling his partner's hand forward towards the door slightly. "I think you know your own way to the school." 

Taro chuckled. " Riiiiiight..." he said, jumping ontop of his house, to others, and skipping back and forth towards the school. " Love those ninja genetics." he said, smiling.

Angel looked up at her meister, she smiled. So many memories in her eyes. She waited for her meister to lead the way.

"Just shut up and jump faster, oh master ninja." Jake mumbled, his whole blade quivering with anticipation for the battle to come. 

Jade smiled and looked over at Angel. "It seems there is a youngster out of bed. Maybe we should say hello before we go." She smiled, extending her hand as a signal for Angel to change forms. "We should probably give him a little extra credit course while we are at it, shouldn't we. That would be fun."

((Fail. O_o)) 

Angel smiled. A quick flash of lilac light, and a silver and purple scythe landed in Jade's hand." True. Too many little quirky meisters popping up everywhere." she said, smiling. Her face flashed in the scythe, her normal blush aparent across her cheeks.

TAro landed in front of the academy. " We're here, mister complain." he growled. He looked around. " Where is it?"  the witch?" he asked, looking around.

Jade's smile grew, taking a step forward so that she was standing on the very edge of the spike. Using her partner to balance herself, she looked down at the boy. "A witch you say? I guess I will play along. I'm up here deary." She laughed, flipping off of the tall building. She fell through the air, finishing the turn just in time to land gracefully on the ground. She tilted her head slightly to the right, studying the child before her. Gripping the shaft of the scythe, she smiled, a sliver of deep purple light snaking it's way around her body and her weapon. "Feel up to a challenge?"

Jake growled as the soul presence he felt before landed right before him and his meister. "Right in front of you." He said, even though it was now rather obvious.
