OoC; Not really.. Just. Most of the people I've seen in other roleplays are not really that much of a Big Roleplay joiner. So maybe if this was a n00bish roleplay a lot more people would join. xD But I like big fancy roleplays like this~ |

OoC; Yup. I made a HUGE Wolf Roleplay that took me two whole hours to make, with the pictures and text and all. :3 It lasted a few days, only for it to be lost in the bulk of all these -cough-Mostly n00b-cough- roleplays. Its becoming tiresome, really. Seeing all these n00bish roleplays around.. >.<

OoC; I think I saw that one... once? Then it disappeared. I'm not a fan of Wolf RPs so I didn't pay it much mind =( And I agree. Most of the RPs with 700+ posts end up being one-liners with no punctuation or anything. o_o It seems like pet sites and decent RPs just don't go together >_< |

The cold wind of dark brushed through the high pointed tree's, of which where being disturbed by the wings that blended in so perfectly with the sky above. Touching ground, the figure was nothing as it crawled over to the over hang, which gave her a perfect view of the heavens above. Her black cloak was soon illuminated by a blue nebula, apparently created by the glossy gaze that the beast projected from her eyes. With a flick of Lume's tail, the furry tip was now coated in cyan.
With a satisfying shriek, the shining mas.s lifted from her perch and was left to glide over the peaks of tree's, flapping her wings every few minutes. |

Elsewhere, a much smaller figure stalked through the unkempt gras.ses. His usually brilliant red scales were smeared with mud, masking both his scent and presence to all but the trained eye. His ears, already grown for his young age, perked up at the unmistakable sound of feet scuttling against the ground. He crouched down farther to the ground, his stance looking oddly cat-like for a creature such as himself. His golden eyes scanned the area around him, looking for the faintest sign of movement, eyes narrowing when he saw it. Letting out a loud growl-like sound, he pounced, landing behind the centipede and snapping it up in his jaw in one fluid movement. A bit of smoke drifted from his nostrils as a small battle waged to keep the insect from crawling back up his throat. Looking slightly annoyed, Nohi coughed a small bit of fire, burning the centipede so it went down without another fight.

The mas.sive form of a black dragon known as Slaughter circled overhead of a group cows. The pitch sky dissimulating Slaughter from his prey. His wings flapped silently as he studied the group with a steady green gaze. It was usually uncommon for him to take longer then a moment picking out a suitable meal. However, it had become an unusual habit.
With a shallow breath, Slaughter dived down on the herd. There was a short moment of silence before the cows exploded, running awkwardly in every direction. A loud growl emanating from his bosom, Slaughter snatched a bull in his hook-like claws and shook it madly. He maneuvered his wings at that same moment to prevent his torso from smashing into the earth, and was off. The option of a silent flight was now wrecked by a constant jingle caused by a string of chains that attached to a silver choker fastened around his neck.
With a grunt, Slaughter changed his course and dived down towards a small clearing. It was secured by a large expanse of forest that enclosed the area. Slaughter’s flapping wings yielded large gusts of wind that must have alerted any other creature around him, but he didn’t much mind. He landed on his hind feet with ease, dropping the dead bull to the ground before placing his forefeet firmly into the ground.
Slaughter’s nostrils flared as he scented the air, but he failed to catch a scent. Waving his tail slightly, Slaughter lied down and began to devour his kill. As he ate, his eyes darted to the trees ahead of him. He could no longer smell the fresh forest scents, smothered by the cow’s blood. ooc; Fail, it's 2:00 AM here. xD & how big are tge dragons once they finish maturing?

Umm, and let's say about 15-20 feet tall usually. Unless their species specifically says something else. o3o That means Nohi really is tiny xDDD *pictures him about the size of a large house-cat* BiC; Nohi lifted up his snout to sniff the air, sensing the smell of blood and another dragon approaching. He could tell whatever was coming would land nearby--far too close for comfort--and turned to scamper away. He, however, failed to notice how quick the dragon landed and let out a loud squeak as he was lifted up by a gust of wind and sent tumbling down a small hill. He rolled several times before he managed to flap his wings to give himself enough leverage to dig his claws into the loose soil of the hill. The soil gave way and he slid down several more feet before he managed to get a stable grip and climb back up.
His head poked just above a raised tree root as he stared at the dark dragon in amazement. Sure, he'd seen plenty of dragons before, but they had all been flying above him or, on the occasion that he did spot one land, it was too far away. But here he was, only a few meters away from this one. He was much larger then he thought a grown dragon would be.
Although Nohi was curious, he knew better then to bother a grown dragon while it was eating--it was simply something taught by instinct--so he stayed in his little hiding spot behind the root, watching the dragon eat. Maybe if he was lucky, he would be left some scraps. His small tongue ran across his muzzle at the thought. |
