((If I may join. ^^ Hopefully this isn't too bad. xD; *tired*)) FORM.
Username: Graveyardfox
Full name: Hudson Gates
Nickname: Hugh
Gender: Male
Dead or living: Living
Cause of death: N/A
Age: Twenty
Looks:tle="" href="http://img593.imageshack.us/img593/5477/honnedellfull897603.jpg"> Full Body Image Reference. Hudson's most striking feature is his albinism, making his hair white, his skin very pale, and giving his irises a pink tint, which he intensifies through the use of red contact lenses. He stands at 179cm (slightly under 5'9") and has a rather slender build, having little fat and only a bit of muscle that can form from regular day-to-day manual labor. His hair is kept long and can seem a bit messy, falling into his face at times; to keep his hair off his neck, he'll keep it tied back with a hair tie. Hudson usually dresses rather well, and isn't one to appear as a slob. Despite this, he can come off a bit punk-ish at times. He always has a cigarette between his lips (except where prohibited) and almost never takes off his wireless headphones except for in class and when sleeping to let them charge. Hudson often seems rather distant and isn't the type of guy most would approach. His albinism can even make him seem scary with the cold looks he often gives people. His right hand is covered with scars from when he punched through his mirror as a teenager, and his arms have quite a few scars from when he used to burn himself with his cigarettes.
Personality: Hudson has shut the world and its inhabitants out. Growing up, he suffered a great deal of abuse due to his albinism, ranging from teasing or shunning to actual physical abuse. His attempts to fit in by dying his hair black and wearing natural colored contacts only intensified the abuse. At age fourteen he took up smoking as a way of coping, and soon after turned to self-harm. Hudson does not have a confrontational nature. Never once did he fight back through abuse, and he keeps his problems and feelings bottled up and hidden away. This is why he will act so cold and intimidating; he tries to keep people at a distance so they never have the opportunity to hurt him. He rather be completely alone than risk the chance of being hurt again. What Hudson wants more than anything is to fit in and be accepted. Although he no longer hurts himself, the pain of loneliness that used to drive him to it never went away.
Does your chara believe in ghosts/the undead: He never considered it one way or another.
Other things: Without his contacts, he's practically blind.

[Let's start~Setting: In front of the manor's large black gate. There's a brick wall covered in graffiti surrounding the manor, just saying.] - Arianne stepped forward timidly and stared carefully at the brick wall towering over her. There'd been some morons spraying odd phrases such as 'enter and die' or 'beware of the dead'. What did they mean? Surely not ghosts. She didn't believe in ghosts. Even though Arianne didn't belong to a certain religion, she just didn't. She just thought those people who reported seeing them were all just fakes trying to get attention. These messages, therefore, were just pranks trying to keep people away from the manor. It was a disgrace seeing the wall destroyed like that. She looked back at the others behind her. It wasn't the time to make comments about how fools slowly deteriorate the world. So instead she said, "Shall we go in? I- I mean if you guys are ready and all. We don't have to yet, if you guys aren't." Arianne had never talked to these people. Well, not unless if you count 'sorry' as talking to one if they accidentally bumped into each other.

Felix ran a hand through his hair, ruffling it up and sweeping it out of his eyes. His grey hat was crumpled in his left hand, his bright eyes looking down at the floor. He didn't look up at Arianne's words, hoping someone else would answer before he had to make a decision for himself. He pulled the beanie on again just as Spirit started to speak, and looked over at the girl. She was sat on the floor, and Felix shook his head when he saw that she had her hood up.
It's not even raining - or cold, for that matter... he thought, hugging his own hoodie around him purely for the comfort. Looking around, his gaze swept past his classmates, focusing on the large gates that loomed above them and the walls around. He stepped up to the brick wall, raising an eyebrow at the messages imprinted on it. He reached up a hand, tracing some of the lettering with his fingers.
BEWARE... It stated in large red letters, thickly lined with black paint. Graffiti had always fascinated Felix in a way. He wouldn't write on the walls himself, but he loved the way the artists wrote. With a sigh he stepped back again, his fingertips tingling from the rough sensation of the stone.
"I guess we should go in then?" He murmured finally, more to himself than anyone else.

Priscilla sighed happily as she took a step back from her "masterpiece". A lurid coating of inks and paints- which created an image that could be considered a tea party between a group of toys- covered the wall above her. The most recent works stuck out greatly against the countless la[injection]yers of chalky and dulled drawings that littered the remaining walls of the room.
Priscilla beamed proudly at her artwork before scampering over to the only window in the room. The fabric curtains which draped down from atop the cracking pane were already faded of their magnificent crimson hues and now the only thing that struck the eye were the tints of, what looked like, dry spatters of blood.
But it wasn't the blood, or the spiders which had webbed their silken traps all about the old glass that made the girl gasp. Her eyes were trained on the group of young folk that were beginning to gather at the front of the mansion. It had been quite a while since people had returned to the manor and Priscilla just couldn't wait to meet- rather, haunt- them.
Holding back a giggle, the ghostly child turned away from the window and scampered down the hall and towards the flight of rickety stairs that led down to the ground. Priscilla knew many people would be scared off right away at the sight of her so, as she flew down the steps, her physique became less and less visible until she was nothing but an eerie wisp- then she was gone.

Changed Spirits link/picture, not my art by the way. BIC:// Spirit sat down on the ground and started playing with the holes in her skinny jeans. Not really paying attetion to anything but her thoughts, also leaning back randomly. It was like knowone eles was their. Now you know how she is was in class... She closed her eyes for a second and opened them up. She sighed and sat up "This is geting boring" she said in a deepish voice. She rolled up her sleeves on her jacket and grabed the hood, quickly and gentally puting it onto the top of her head. The fur on the edge of the hood covered over her light grey colored eyes. She dug into her pocket, pulling out two bandage wraps. She wraped them around her hands, covering them up too her wrists.

[ Wait I haven't posted an intro for Reubin. ]
Reubin was playing with a wind up ballerina toy. He wasn't interested in childish things, but it was the only thing he could do. He'd been doing that for the past few days since they were released from that boring area in between of heaven and hell. Just sitting in the Masters daughters' old nursery. It was jam packed with things covered in spider webs and dust, because of course, cleaning didn't mean anything to ghosts. If one went to that room, they'd be covered in the silky threads from the first moment they walked in. Reubin was about to wind up the toy again when he heard a noise outside the manor. The place was always silent, apart from the odd mouse scrambling in the attic every hour or so. But this sound was different. No. It.. it can't be, he thought, could it? Reubin hadn't seen a human- well, not since he died a hundred years ago. And it wasn't just one human too. There were at least 3 of them talking to each other. He could barely make out the words that the group said. "..go in? I mean.." "This is boring.." "I guess we should.." - This is going to be interesting, Reubin thought. He was about to step out into the creaky old hallway when a little girl ran- well, flew past, disappearing towards the flight of stairs.

Hudson had set himself some distance away from the group. A cigarette rested between his lips as he stared down at the ground, vaguely listening to the soft words that were occasionally spoken.
Hudson was leaned back against the wall, one leg bent so the flat of his foot rested against it a foot or so off the ground. His head was positioned so it covered up the "T" in a line of graffiti saying "TURN BACK NOW." His arms were crossed lightly and overall he seemed relatively relaxed. He was dressed comfortably as well, wearing an unbuttoned long-sleeved grey shirt with a black tee shirt under it and black jeans. He wore white converses, which somehow were still pretty clean despite their age.
He closed his eyes and sighed, exhaling smoke. "I don't see anything keeping us," he said gruffly. "Unless someone wants to back out already."

Avius rolled his eyes, glaring at the people stood outside the gate. He was late, and they were still waiting there? Looked like it was going to be down to him to actually get something done. All of them mumbling about being bored or that they should go in or something stupid like that. Idiots, all of them. Only one other person there seemed to have any idea what he was doing, some pale-skinned guy who, surprisingly, said the first intelligent thing Avius had heard all day.
''Agreed. Well, I'm going in, since most of you lot are obviously getting nowhere.'' With that, he walked up to the gate and tried to push it open, but it was jammed slightly. Kicking it resulted in a slightly painful foot, but in the least it was open now. Albeit coupled with some rather... Colourful language. ''Well? Are you lot going in, or d'you just plan to wait until the house comes to you?'' He slid through the now open gate, standing on the other side with his hands in his pockets.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually. ... ... Screw it. HYE. ♥

Roy was in the middle of mixing batter to a cake he was considering on making. It had taken quiet a while for him to be able to hold things again. When he had first came back, he could barely even turn visible. Now, though, he was able to easily handle things, specifically his cooking utensils.
He had been surprised at first when he came back and saw that just about everything was still in place the day he left. It looked like everything had been left untouched by everything other than time. Roy had figured that he had been dead for around ten years by judging the spider webs and dust that covered all flat surfaces. He had never seen a place so let go before, so Roy guessed that there was a possibility that he was off by a few year or so.
Another strange thing Roy found was that the pantry was still full, all of the food still fresh. Either it was magical or one of the benefits of being dead was that you could make an unlimited supply of food appear. He sort of doubted the latter; it wasn't like he needed to eat and he could just barely taste. The only reason why he still cooked was because he could still smell and it gave him something to do.
Roy was holding the mixing bowl with one hand when he heard a loud noise. Out of shock and fright, his visibility dropped. The bowl dropped through his hand and shattered on the flood. Yellowish batter splattered about. Roy ignored it and floated out of the kitchen, through a hallway, and peeked at the front door, which was closed.

Hudson slid his foot down and opened his eyes when he heard another guy - who seemed more impatient to get on with things than the others - going to work on opening the gate. He'd just pushed himself from the wall when he heard the sharp sound of the gate being forced open and the male cursing. A smirk formed around his cigarette and he strode over to join him on the other side of the gate.
"There's no reason to wait out here," he said, "so we might as well go inside or go home." He glanced up at the mansion, examining the details of its age. At one point it had probably been a very impressive place, now it did rather match the rumor of it being haunted. After a moment of just observing, he made his way to the front doors. With a little effort, he managed to get one of the doors open. Despite the stubbornness it had shown at first, it swung open effortlessly with a creepy creaking noise. Hudson warily observed the interior without stepping across the threshold. He really didn't put it past someone to set up traps or something to make the mansion seem haunted.

Sockets sat on his own in the abandoned foyer of the large mansion, not moving, not playing with anything. He saw simply sitting there, curled up with his knees to his chest and his eyeless sockets staring ahead until the sounds of voices reached his ears. Had he had eyes, he would have blinked before he stood up and practically floated over to the window. He was still visible as he pressed his hands against the glass and watched a human kick the gate. He tilted his head before he slowly faded out of view and floated back.
He had never really come back after he'd died, and was truly more like a shadow of himself than anything else. He was a very melancholy spirit now, prone to wailing and crying in the shadows of the manor, weeping for the life he could have lived had he just not come to the manor. He shook his head after a moment and floated within the shadows, unseen by all. He hoped this kids could help him...
He looked up when he heard Priscilla's running through the house, watching her as she faded from line of sight as well. He moved further back, unsure of what he should do at this point, and if he should let them see him or not. He sighed softly and lowered his head, parts of his now-snowy hair falling into his pale, pale face.

Felix raised an eyebrow at the now open gates, cracking his knuckles as a nervous shiver ran down his spine. He took a step towards them, then paused to turn around. He debated asking one of the others to come through with him and catch up to the two that had already gone through, but that wouldn't exactly make him look brave. Instead he clenched his jaw and pushed the gate even further open and walked through, trying to look as nonchalant as he could.
"Wow..." Felix gazed up at the manor, shoving his hands into the pocket of his dark blue hoodie. It had probably once been a beautiful place, and most likely could be again is somebody bothered to dust off the many cobwebs and repaint everything. His eyes flickered from one window to the next, gradually moving down towards the door.
With a start, he realised that it was open already and one of them had gone inside. Quickening his pace, Felix hurried to bring himself level with the other lad and peered at the door.
Won't this be fun.

Ari cringed at the sound of the creaky door opening. She followed the three already inside the foyer of the manor. There was- well, used to be- a garden with dead roses drooping to the ground. A little stone path started at the gate, leading up to the stairs which was the stairs to the entrance of the manor. Ari almost tripped over a loose cobblestone as she looked back at the others still pondering around outside the gate."Come on, then. Let's go in." she called out, "No use sitting here wasting time." Ari turned back to the manor, and for the first time realized how large it was. It looked smaller when they were outside, but that was probably because the wall was quite big compared to the other gates and fences next door. I shouldn't get distracted with this. I need to go follow them, she thought. Ari half walked/jogged to the front door, catching up with the others.

Spirit let out a little snort and stood up, she balled her fists, her skin tightened at all the creeking. She quickly jumped up as something brushed against her, it was just a small bush she didn't know she had been leaning on. How freaked was she geting, usually she'd be the freaky one. She finally started her way onto the path, following the other four.
A cold chill ran up her spine as she saw all the dead roses and how creepier the manor was closer up in person. All the grafiti covered walls and windows. She shook her head in despite. {Yeah GingerNut, Spirit.. and me in real life X.X... Is weird like that! X3}
