*thud* "Hhhhgh...?" .... *knock knock* "Wha?" "Locked out againnnnnn. Let me iiinnnnnnnnnnnn." Mulder shoved his head into the pillow. 'Maybe if I ignore it, it'll go away...?' *knock knock* "Fine." He rolled/fell out of his bed, checking his alarm clock. With no small amount of general displeasure he turned to the door, grimacing. "Really, Chriss? Four in the effing MORNING?" The last bit came out louder than he'd planned. Due to the noise level plus hangover, he ended up giving himself a headache. Jugding by the agonized moan coming from the other side of the door, Chriss was having the same dilemna. A feeble "pleeeeeaaaaas.ssse?" drifted, and Mulder gave up. "Fine." He somehow crawled/wiggled on his stomach to the door, which he stretched to open. Chriss landed, somehow, sprawled on top of him, her tail clogging his windpipe. The fox weedled out from under his roommate, groaning with the effort. "Egads, woman..." "Tmchbgwrdddssssssss...." In Drunk Chriss, this translated to, "too much big worrddsssss...." Which, given her current condition, was an understandable complaint. In a strange tangle of pulling, shoving, and worm/snake-like motions, the two ended up in the kitchen, with Chriss providing Mulder enough support to stand and make coffee for two. From the floor came an oddly clear voice. "NEVER. AGAIN." Mulder looked down at the cat, his sleep-deprived, bloodshot eyes twinkling with amusement. "Dear, that's what you said last time." She looked up at him, green eyes narrowing. "I know. But 'm serious this time. Seriously." He pondered this for a moment, then chuckled. "That's... ALSO what you said last time. Exactly that." Chriss, now thoroughly chagrined, decided that now would be a good time to stop arguing. With the coffee consumed, showers taken, and clothing put on, the two looked a little bit more presentable, Chriss in her usual skinny (or in this case pleasantly plump) jeans and low-cut blouse, Mulder in his "real man" jeans and X-Files t-shirt, which he wore on days he really needed a reminder to how much he hated his parents. But they did give him something to have a sense of humor about, for which he thanked them. Thus strengthened they donned their satchels and strolled quietly onto campus, figuring that the fresh morning air would clear their headaches.
" Chriss?" "Mhm?" "Why do I put up with you?" ... "Simple. No one else would put up with you." "Valid argument."

*yawn* After stretching and finally getting up the nerve to stumble out of bed, the college student dashed around trying to get her stuff on for school. She had a roomate, but they had asked to transfer. She hadn't been sure why. Maybe it was her inability to make sounds, but whatever it was, good riddance, she didn't need the girl anyway. The girl, Alora, as she was called, flipped her shoulder length black hair over her pale shoulder and pulled on some clothes. Her mash-up of clothes included a bright blue t-shirt and some blue jeans. She rubbed her back, trying to figure out why it hurt so much and then it hit her and she sprang out of the room. A few moments later, alora returned with a pair of scizors, she took off her shirt- leaving on her undergarments- and began to slice two ovular slits into the shirt. When it was finished, she put it back on and out of the openings burst two sets of three shimmering dragonfly wings. They seemed blue at first sight, but when Alora drew open the curtains to let sunlight in, a beautiful ray of sunlight was cast over them. They weren't blue, but nor were they any other set color. It was like a multitude, a plethora of bright colors. There were pinks, purples, blues, reds, all the colors of the rainbows were shimmering the sun's glowing face. Alora sighed and yawned again, her mouth opening wide. She wasn't ashamed of the fact that when she yawned there was no sound. In fact, she was totaly at ease with her muteness. She hadn't been able to speak from birth, but it didn't stop her from being a 4.0 student, or making friends. At times is was a burden, but it was very useful for making rude gestures and/or sneaking up on people. She shook her head, revealing two atenni that sprang from the top of her head. They were slightly kiddish, but they were attached and she couldn't get rid of them. She rubbed her pale blue scaled arms and smiled. Today was the beginning of a glorious day and she hoped that nothing would go extremely wrong...
