[[Sorry. Been busy.]] "Zhat is... huh." Well it—she? Had a point. And that was very uncontrolled. Lightening started many, many forest fires. He found himself stepping back from the insane little bird. He didn't want to go bursting into flames. Again. "Vhat matter? Same word. To-mah-to. Plasteer. Band aid. Not hard repeating vhat you say, though you make it sound just as veird, maybe." Really. What was it with people and "accents". He might as well just speak his own language and avoid it altogether. Make them learn it and apply their silly accents to it. He sighed, waving a hand. "Da. Not hard guess? I am from Kursk."

Wren sighed. There was no fun in toying with this man anymore. And besides, he seemed irritated at her for some unknown reason. 'I control my powers well. What 'bout you? Huh? What'cha know about me anyways?' Anger getting a hold of her, Wren shifted into butcher bird, resplendant in her blue-black plummage. Beak clacking she jumped off the man's shoulder and landed back onto her tree branch. 'Dun wanna get me angry. Ho no, you be sorry little chick!' Unfortunately for Wren, as a bird her thoughts were more jumbled and inwardly she groaned at how stupid she sounded. What happened to grammer? she thought irritably as her bird self continued to hurl abuse at the man below. 'You made of seagull droppings, eh? Splatter-brained like one of 'em chick-a-dees too. Dun mess with me, I cut you good.' [Have I mentioned she's thick and slightly stupid as a bird? xD]

((Lol. Wren sounds funny.XD)) Two small feet dangled over the edge of the branch as the small girl sat up in a tree, leanign against the trunk of the tree. Her eyes were closed as she listened to the wind blow through the leaves and a serious but peaceful expresion was on her face as she held a pencil tightly in her hand and wrote words into a small old looking notebook. She opened her eyes as she heard the sound of voices. She looked around curiously but didn't see anyone. She jumped down from the tree and landed on the ground with a hard 'thud' before making her way towards the sound. She sat down and crossed her legs as she watched a bird mouthing off to a human...It was one of the most funniest things she had seen in her life but she still kept calm and just watched the two strange people.

". . . " Now what exactly had he done to constitute such irrational and completely rude behavior? He had been talking in a calm, conversational tone of voice. Even humored her in her blasted fascination with how he spoke. Oh, so she's mad at him, then, when she's making a big deal about his "accent" and going on about band-aids. Well fine then, stupid feathery-brained morons didn't need any more of his attention. If she was going to be ridiculous and utterly irritating, he wasn't going to deal with it anymore. He had a walk he wanted to finish. Making a noise that was little more than a grunt and waving his hand in dismissal, Royce up and limped away, mumbling heatedly in Russian and shaking his shaggy head. Ireland. Messed up place.

[I love Royce 8D] Wren shook her head in confusion. Where had that outburst sprung out of? She wasn't even irritated at the man. 'Ack, wait meester. Confused birdy. Looney, I know. Sorry, bird is.' Wren bobbed her head up and down and fluttered after the man. 'Wait, please do. Wanna apologize, little birdy does,' she called out, furious at her own behaviour. I really need to learn how to control my attitude as a bird. I should have remember that my personality changes according to the type of bird I am. Idiot, and then I choose a butcher bird of all avians! [Sorry It's short, I just want Royce to answer before she shifts again.]

Jaylin watched the bird and the boy. She looked down at the ground she sat on and began to play with some of the sand. She let the sand rise up from the ground and cover her fingers and go up to her hand until it reached her wrist and went towards her elbow. She raised an eyebrow looking at the strange bird. Well, this is very...Interesting. I wonder if I'm seeing things... She thought staring at the talking bird. She stood up, letting the sand fall to the ground and walked over to another tree. She shifted her body into sand and collapsed making it look like she was just a pile of sand next to a tree. Then the sand began to slowly rise up from the ground and head up towards the top of the tree. She sat down on a branch as her body shifted into her regular form again. She jumped back when she saw a bat dangling upside down on the same branch.

[[Pfft, love for my silly cranky. And yeah. mine are pretty short too. brain dead. Also, Royce does not equal boy. Royce equals horribly scarred ugly Russian man.]] He stopped walking. It wasn't a difficult thing to do, and he hadn't been going very fast. The little bird reminded him of someone— he couldn't say who, but it was somewhat charming, in an odd little way. Sighing in an overdramatic fashion, Royce tapped his cane on the ground a few times before arching a brow at the bird. "Your mood swings are hard on zhe nerves. I can feel it in here," He tapped his chest. "Very hectic." He ran a hand through his hair and exhaled loudly. "Birdy apology accepted. Birdy have a formal name? I am known as Royce." He smiled a wry smile. He may or may not have changed his name because he liked the car.

((Ssath, love the sig!!)) Aki, water still swirling around her batty body, fluttered to perch upside down on Royce's arm. "She is not a bad bird, not even a bird... not really." Aki said, letting the water creep up his arm, forgetting for a moment that he might be sensitive since he was fire. Or fire-powered...

Wren scowled, well, as much as her bird beak would let her, and shifted into a bright green Amazon parrot so she could speak more easily. 'Eh, the names Wren. I'm sorry about the outburst. I tend to take on the intelligence of a bird when I shape-shift. Butcher birds, also known as Shrikes, aren't the brightest.' The parrot swooped closer to the ground and when her claws touched the solid earth she shifted back into a normal human. Wren ruffled her straight auburn hair and gave the russian man an apologetic grin.

Jaylin's grip slipped on the branch as she saw the bird change into a parrot and then a bird. She opened her mouth to scream but she already felt the solid earth below her as she landed on her back with a loud thump. She sat there for a few seconds staring up at the sky. She sat up and soon regretted it when it felt like she ripped a muscle in her back in half. She rubbed the back of her back and stood up. She coughed suddenly feeling stupid. The girl must have powers like me. She thought stupidly.

[[no big. boy just sounds so... soft and not-cranky when applied to Royce. edit: I did not ignore bat. DD: edit again: and i not ignore loud thump either!]] His first instinct was to flip out like a woman who got a bug caught in her hair when the bat perched on his arm. He resisted, and it was probably a good thing. For his masculinity and to keep from offending new friends. Royce did move his arm out away from his body and shake it a bit as Aki spoke. "Not a bird? And I think you're not a bat? Too much... one day... yeech." He looked back at Wren, nodding slowly in understanding. He supposed it would work that way. In this deranged crazy world he had walked in to. "Nice be meeting you, Wren." he said, making sure he pronounced it correctly. Names were easier. As Wren transformed into a human, he merely stared, making no comment. Instead he shook his arm, mumbling out the side of his mouth to Aki. "You're getting coat all vet." There was a loud thump. To avoid losing his mind, Royce decided to focus his attention on that. There wasn't... another one... was there? "... Allo?" he asked, in the general direction the thump had come from.

Wren cracked a smile at the bat. 'Tsk, get off the nice man Aki. You might lose control of your bladder or something. Guano is impossible to wash off you know.' She crossed her arms at the offending animal, but her eyes remained gentle. 'And Royce, I appreciate your masculinity at not screaming at Aki like a woman. Men tend to get overexcited when they see bats. I mean, goodness, there are some men who would just have a total spaz and freak out all over the place.'

"Прошу прощения" (I*m sorry) Aki fluttered off and she grew, becoming a black haired human with a blue and white tunic and skirt. She wondered what the boy was doing all the way out in the middle of nowhere. "Kak vas zavUt? MinyA zavUt Aki." (What is your name? My name is Ak.) She spoke fluent russian, being that she had been around the world, learning different languages. She was multi-lingual...
