Was it true that women could read minds? "Not just men. But zhere is something about... flying rats..." He opened his hand in a gesture of "you know?" before placing it on his other hand, which was still grasping his cane. "Not scared of spiders either." He muttered. With surprised eyes, he looked at Aki. "No harm done... A bat-girl fluent in Russian. Zhey are bringing me the straight-jackets now. I am... as you would say "pleased" at your kind acknowledging of my language, Aki. But I vould prefer to speak zhe common language, so as not to leave out anyone."
Politeness. He was discussing his need to be polite to a Russian speaking water bat girl he had just met, so that the lightening bird girl Wren wouldn't feel left out of their conversation.

Wren shook her head with a sigh. 'Yep, that's me. The girl who can't speak any more languages other than English, Irish and Swedish. Well, I suppose there's something to be said for being fluent in a european language, eh?' She shoved her hands into her pockets and gave the man a look, her hazel-and-green eyes boring into his. 'So, what brings you here anyways? I noticed you seemed interested in the flora and fauna here.'

"Alright." Aki said, switching back to English. She looked at Wren. "Its been a while since we've found someone like us, though there are others." she said, letting a little sphere of water swirl around in her hand. "I am fluent in most languages, having been all around the world, but I was born a dutch- irish mix in Holland. My dad left when I was three and something happened to my mom. Wren found me and brought me here... how long ago... was that?" He eyes widened in surprise as she began counting on her fingers...

Jaylin began to walk towards the boyman, the bird-human thing, and the bat. She looked at the bat. "Wow...This is...Weird!" She said in a voice that sounded almost fascinated. She had never seen such an odd thing in her life! Of course she was one to speak seeing as she could turn all of her body even her heart, lungs, and everything else into sand and still be able to live. She wasn't around a lot of people like her though, so this was pretty strange to her to see other people being able to do things normal people couldn't. ((*Kicks short post*))

[[see, no throat ripping necessary. need more people though cuz Royce is like, the center of attention here. that is not right.]] "I vas taking a valk." Royce replied, blandly. As if he needed to tell her that. It seemed it was quite obvious. "And who vouldn't be interested in zhe fauna? It very beautiful place." He sighed, staring around at the trees. "How very lucky." He murmured, in response to Aki. So there was a group of them? Well, he knew exactly where not to go the next time he walked around in Ireland. He looked up at Jaylin, made a noise, and then waved his hand. "Look vhat you have done. Blown your cover. How talk her out of seeing such things? You're the most trusting girls I have ever met. Quite foolish, if I may say so. Vhat if I vas bad man?" He brushed his damp sleeve and again folded his hands over his cane.

"Then I'd kill you andwe'd be done with that, plus, you really think I just told you everything. Don't you think If I was trusting, I would have told you strengths and weaknesses, nothing I told you could be used against me. I don't care for my parents and would have killed them if I could find them, I*m an only child, so there is no one to use as bait, and I was brought to Ireland. Whoopee." Aki had a troublesome glint in her eyes as she said this things and a smile had alighted itself on her pale face as the water in her hand changed from water, to ice and to steam...

Coughing delicately Wren let the crackle of electricty cover her hands. 'Oh,' she said mildly,' I suppose I'd have to protect them or something. I've made it my duty since I created this place (Kez~). Not that I willfully enjoy hurting people.' Giving a small frown the bird-woman let the power sink back into her skin. 'And besides,' she added knowledgeably. 'If you were a bad man I'm quite sure you wouldn't be standing here arguing with us about the flora and fauna of Ireland. Or complaining about a raven that insulted you.' Digging her hands into her pockets Wren lifted an eyebrow at him, a small grin spreading her lips.
