PebbleClan
NightEar walked near the center of the group as the clan made their way to the gathering. Gatherings always made her nervous... But then again, not much didn't made the timid cat nervous. So many felines together, it made it so much more likely that a fight may break out... And back and camp- What f something happened there? What if a cat hurt themselves while she wasn't around. She muttered nonsense under her breath, and shook her head.
ReedClan
BrambleClaw was the only one of the tabby triplets to be invited along. He was the only level headed one, so obviously his siblings had no point in going. As much as he wished his siblings could calm down, he knew it was only in their natures to be a little... Foolish. Then again, were they the only warriors to be left behind? He glanced around, a little unsure, and sighed. Hopefully the two kept themselves out of trouble...

"Arg! Why can we never go to the gathering, LostEye?" FlashFoot growled, ploping over onto his side, throwing a small bit of a tantrum... Which was rather un-warrior-like. His sister chuckled, flicking her tail behind him and looking down at her brother. "Maybe its all the commotion you cause?" she suggested, purring, "And then drag me into." She tried to do her best for the clan, she just wasn't as calm as BrambleClaw, and willing to help FlashFoot on his 'adventures'. "Oh speaking of!" FlashFoot began, sitting up, "I-" "Not today, FlashFoot." LostEye interrupted, chuckling, "We need to watch the camp while everyones gone. I'm not doing mischief right not." "...Fine."

ReedClan Rainsong glanced back at the ReedClan cats to make sure they were close behind, flicking his gray-tipped tail in response to Breezestar's command to lead the other cats forward. Then he turned and ducked after his leader, making for the pile of stones where the two would likely settle for the evening. Rainsong wasn't expecting PebbleClan to give them a warm welcome when the arrived, not with all the tension between the two clans, so it wasn't likely that he would leave his post under the rock pile to chat with other cats. "I think you're right, but maybe that's a good thing. At least we won't seem as relaxed by being here first, what with the recent incident with Lilystorm. It should hopefully signal to them that we're willing to stand up for our clanmate," Rainsong replied softly. The deputy glanced back at his clanmates, and spotted Lilystorm among them. Had it been the best idea to bring her along?
PebbleClan
Echomask quietly stuck her head out of the warrior's den in PebbleClan's camp. She wasn't at all sorry that she wasn't going to the gathering, it's not like she had anyone to talk to. She was content to stay in camp this time, and guard it if necessary. The lithe gray and black she-cat picked her way back over to her nest, and settled down, front paws curled beneath her. I wonder who else is staying? she thought to herself. Echomask's eyes began to drift shut, finally stopping when they were just thin slits, fixed on the entrance of the den.

[[ Ohgeez, just realized I didn't do the mentor x apprentice pairings x_x I'll put it up very very soon. ]]
ReedClan
Coalpaw's ears pricked when he heard voices. Craning his neck to get a better look, his eyes fell upon Losteye and Flashfoot, guarding the other end of the camp. "At least some warriors are left behind." He muttered to himself. He had forgotten which cats Breezestar had chosen to go to the Gathering, but Coalpaw wondered if Whitepaw, his fellow apprentice, had been selected.
---
Lilystorm ducked her head when she realized Rainsong's eyes fell on her in the crowd of warriors. Ever since her little mishap with the borders, Lilystorm had tried her best to contain her energy and train herself to not fumble around so much.
---
Breezestar had caught Rainsong's glance. "Don't worry, Rainsong." The creamy white cat said in a voice he hoped was reassuring. "I've observed her behavior in the recent days, it seems like Lilystorm has been trying her best to calm herself down." It's only good to reward such behavior. He finished the sentence in his own mind, then returned his gaze towards the ReedClan warriors, waiting for the arrival of PebbleClan.

ReedClan. Spidermask snorted at Lilystorm's enthusiasm. "There's nothing very exciting about a Gathering." He volunteered. "But yes, I think we are the first Clan, Breezestar." He drank in the air; the scent of PebbleClan cats were fast approaching. "I think PebbleClan's arriving soon," He commented.
Willowleaf drew a paw over her ear as she approached the medicine cat den. "Hello, Ravenfrost." She called out. "Are you in? Is there anything I can help you with?" She didn't mind a bit being left behind while the others went for the Gathering. She was more than happy to sit by the medicine cat den. Only that she didn't know whether Ravenfrost was in the den or out at the Gathering.
PebbleClan
"Yes, I believe so, Crowflight." He let out a small chuckle. "I know you're excited for your first Gathering as a deputy." He raised his head slightly and scented the surrounding air. "I think ReedClan is already waiting for us. It wouldn't be nice if they wait too long, would it? Let's go slightly faster." He started to sprint. It wouldn't be pleasant if ReedClan started teasing PebbleClan about how slow they were. He also respected Breezestar; not only for his seniority over himself, but for his power to control his Clan well.
Leaftail sat up in a tree, as usual. She watched as her Clanmates started padding off, becoming smaller and smaller as the heartbeats passed. The warm sun filtered through the canopy of leaves and played on her face. Maybe it was a good time to take a nap. Curling up near the crook of the branch where it branched out from the tree, she closed her eyes as the nearby pines promised peace.
Talonstrike padded behind the deputy and leader. He spotted ReedClan as they approached the clearing. He sat near a small tree sapling and eyed a cream-colored she-cat bouncing around. He looked around; the rest of her Clan seemed a few foxlengths away. "Hello there, pretty one. What a lovely flower you'd be if you were one."
[ Talonstrike may sound odd, the way he sort of converses xD ... ]

[[ mentor apprentice pairings are up :D ]]
ReedClan
Lilystorm rolled her eyes at Spidermask's cynicism. "You're not interested in learning about what PebbleClan's been up to, Spidermask?" She asked, straightening up when the smell of PebbleClan hit the roof of her nose. Her ears pricked up when she heard an unfamiliar mew. Lilystorm looked over her shoulder to see a brown tom only a few mouselengths away from her. Lilystorm, being the dense she-cat she was, laughed at his greeting. "That's funny, I was named after a flower, in fact." She mewed, a grin on her face. (ohmg cats can smile okey :c)
---
Breezestar nodded his greeting to Falconstar as he watched the fairly new PebbleClan leader arrive, waiting for the deputy, Swiftwind, to follow along. Instead, a familiar black pelt followed Falconstar in Swiftwind's place, his chin high and his tail waving in the air. Breezestar's eyes reflected the slightest concern, unseen by any cat. Was Swiftwind replaced by Crowflight? Breezestar sighed as the two cats made their way towards the rock pile. Crowflight had displayed his more cunning and vicious side towards ReedClan, and Breezestar felt like the black tom would cause more trouble than good.
PebbleClan
"They'll understand the delay." Crowflight mewed as he sprinted alongside Falconstar, signaling for the PebbleClan cats to follow suit. After all, Crowflight thought as they sped through the forest, Breezestar will have to explain why we found the stench of ReedClan in our territory. After they had burst through a row of bushes, Crowflight landed on the soft grass in the Clearing. The eyes of ReedClan cats had fallen on them, although Crowflight merely brushed these curious gazes aside as he made his way towards the rock pile.
---
Amberpaw sped up when she saw Crowflight's sign, easily racing along her fellow PebbleClan cats. When they made it into the Clearing, Amberpaw found a nice little spot to sit in, near a few other cats [ if anyone needs someone to talk to, Amberpaw's here ._. ]. Amberpaw silently picked her way through the grass, settling onto the spot and watched as the Clan leaders settled onto the rock pile, and a small wave of chatter swept through the crowd of cats.

[[This is the backstory behind Hallowpaw's name. When he was born, his grandfather's dying wish was to name his grandson. (Or grandcat? 8D) He used the word "hallow". A farm cat had told the word to him when he was a loner. It meant "destined for greatness". As soon as the kit slipped out, he died. His mother had wanted to name him Squirrelkit or Snakekit, considering his two bushy tails. Hallowpaw now tries to be the best he can be.]]
Hallowpaw shyly walked over to Amberpaw. When he was nervous, his bushy tail fluffed up even more. The tawny cat's eyes sparkled, as if to invite him in. As he slowly walked over, her tail beckoned him to come. His tails were now fluffy like the perfect nest. He couldn't think of a conversation starter. "How have you been doing?" He said shyly.

Foxpelt sulked in the warriors den about not being picked to go to the gathering. "Urgh , it's not fair i'm a good warrior right? right ? I'm a great warrior ! I mean i'm the one who fought off that loner the other day .. well other cats were there to but I hit him .. okay so did the others but still... I'm going for a walk !" Foxpelt got up and sneaked out of camp trying to avoid any attention from his other clanmates. Once out in the forest he padded off into some random direction grumbling to himself.
Featherwhisker kneaded the ground in anticipation disliking so many cats in such a small place. She hated gatherings they always lead to outbreaks of some sort and in her opinion they didn't help anything. She longed to be home in the forest instead of squished between her apprentice Icepaw and Ashfoot. "When will this start" she muttered under her breath.

Coalpaw lifted up his head when he heard another cat's voice. Foxpelt? He thought, instantly recognizing the voice of his old denmate. The ginger warrior had been a fellow apprentice only a few moons ago, and the two had often gone on patrols together with their mentors. Coalpaw stood up and poked his head over a rock to watch Foxpelt pad out of the camp. "Hey, Foxpelt, wait for me!" Coalpaw called, not wanting to be left alone with the boring task of guarding the ReedClan exit.
PebbleClan
Amberpaw looked over her shoulder lazily when she heard a voice. She recognized Hallowpaw, her odd denmate who had two tails. They were rather strange, but Amberpaw had grown used to them, much like most of the PebbleClan cats. "Oh, hi, Hallowpaw." Amberpaw droned in a bored voice. "I'm fine, I'm just waiting for the Gathering to start. I would love to hear ReedClan's explanation for why one of their warriors crossed over the borders a few days ago."

Ravenfrost's ears twitched at the sound of another cat. He immediately recognized the voice as Willowleaf's, as she always seemed to poke her head in whenever he was here and a Gathering was about. "Mmm? Ah, yes, Willowleaf. You can help me put together this marigold pile that Whitepaw destroyed. Oh, and I had it so neat..." he mewed. The medicine den had little niches in the back wall of the small cave in which for every little 'pocket' there was a different herb stored inside. Whitepaw, being a clumsy oaf one day, had promptly flew in and disturbed the wonderful stash of marigold. It was scattered about the den in the most unruly fashion at the current moment, and Ravenfrost bent down to pick up yet another piece to put it back in its rightful place. --- Whitepaw was chosen to go on the Gathering, however she didn't know why... She had knocked over some herbs in the medicine den. However she was the only other apprentice, and since Coalpaw was not selected, at least one apprentice should go. As she bounded about, she didn't really have anybody in particular to converse with, though she did listen in on a few other conversations. Hm... I wonder what Coalpaw's up to... Whitepaw thought, her mind wandering off to a little cat's fantasies. PebbleClan Ashfoot glanced up at his leader and deputy ahead of him and then entered the Clearing proudly, taking large and confident strides like he always did. Perhaps now ReedClan would give their best excuse as to why the patrol Ashfoot himself was on had found the smell of one of their warriors on PebbleClan turf. This Gathering should definitely be an interesting one, that was for sure. Maybe an interesting argument would pop up. In the meantime, Ashfoot had nothing to do, but he decided to give a whack at socializing. He noticed Echomask all by herself and went over. "So, what do you think will happen tonight?" he asked her as the white and gray warrior sat beside his Clanmate. --- Icepaw was left behind at tonight's Gathering, though she eagerly wanted to go. The little border crossing would've made an interesting topic for the Clans to talk about, and she would've liked to hear what would come of this Gathering, however that was not her place at the moment. She was back at camp, her green eyes looking up to the sky, gazing up at the shimmering stars. They twinkled so beautifully in the dark night sky and the moon made the perfect match to them. Hm... the moon must be so lonely not to have anybody similar to it, Icepaw realized. There were probably tons of stars but only one moon. She then shook her head and stood up, looking around camp. (Anybody can go up to Icepaw or Whitepaw and talk to them if they want.)

Rainsong twitched his whiskers. "Yes, she has been doing well, but this isn't the first time she's crossed the border, and I'm worried..." Rainsong trailed off as his eyes fell on Crowflight. What happened to Swiftwind? Rainsong thought to himself, alarmed. He wanted to look at Breezestar to see his leader's reaction, but he also didn't want to seem like he was incapable of functioning by himself, if anyone happened to catch the glance. Rainsong's heart sank. Crowflight would be much less likely to listen to reason, of all cats. He had showed a rather hostile and cunning side to ReedClan as a warrior, and as deputy... ReedClan's own deputy shook his head. Apparently things had just got interesting.
PebbleClan
Echomask sat up, tail twitching. She had had enough of sitting around. Quietly she got up and stretched, then slipped outside. Out in the middle of the clearing, she rolled a small, smooth stone around under her paw pad. Such stones were common across PebbleClan's territory, or at least Echomask had noticed a couple on multiple occasions. She had always liked to think that's where her clan got its name from, but she wouldn't know as she had never grown up hearing stories like those as a kit.
((Anyone is welcome to approach Echomask and strike up a conversation.))

BrambleClaw looked over to his apprentice, who seemed rather distracted by her own mind. Smirking slightly, he moved towards her. "WhitePaw." he spoke, "Are you not looking forward to the gathering?" He was very proud of his young apprentice, she seemed level headed, and was a quick learner. The warrior purred with amusement.

LostEye chuckled, watching FoxPelt leave, followed closely by the blunt and impulsive CoalPaw. "You'd think the leader would have one of use keeping track of him while they were gone." She commented, chuckling. "Right. He avoids the ladies and well, like either of us are responsible enough." FlashFoot purred, flicking bits of grass at his sister. She sneezed as they tickled across her muzzle, and growled at her brother, pouncing. The two were soon acting like kits, tearing up grass and pulling out small tufts of each others fur.
PebbleClan
NightEar looked among the other cats, sitting at the base of the pile of stones, grooming herself. They all seemed calm and happy now, but things could change quickly, oh she knew they could. Her eyes rested on the other clans two-tailed cat, and she smirked a bit, amused. The other clan had a spare tail, as she sat there missing hers. Twisting around, she groomed herself a bit, waiting for something to happen.

[[When will Hallowpaw get his mentor?]] Hallowpaw flicked his tails in annoyance. Reedclan was getting careless with the borders. "I know. I've been waiting. How does a full grown warrior "accidently" cross the border?"

"Oh, I don't know. Chasing prey, perhaps. Or maybe an even more sinister reason, like scouting out potential new borders." Amberpaw's eyes narrowed into slits as she watched more ReedClan cats stream into the Clearing. Their deputy, Crowflight, lead the crowd of cats alongside Falconstar, although the deputy cleverly remained at a respectful distance behind the clan leader.

"What a suitable name for an equally pretty cat, then." Talonstrike purred. He locked his jaws around a flower in the grass, yanking it out. "Surely a hundred of these cannot compare to your beauty?" A loud, prominent meow signals the arrival of the rest of the Clan. "Greetings, Breezestar," he heard his leader call. "How are you today?"
Falconstar sits down, his tail curled up around him, as he finds a spot to comfortably overlook the rest of his Clan before the Gathering starts. They seemed to be behaving; he would have to praise them later. Except maybe for Talonstrike and his incessant flirting - he noted that it was a pretty cream colored she-cat, a member of ReedClan. If Talonstrike was successful in capturing her heart, there may be complications. He pushed away his troubles, and a new emotion rushed forward to fill the void in his mind: Hope. He sent a silent prayer to StarClan -- if Talonstrike hit off with the pretty female, he hoped peace would still remain between the clans.
"Of course I would!" Willowleaf gasped. "Whitepaw's always been the clumsy one, so it's not a big surprise for me." She let out a small chuckle at the thought - at the truth behind it.

Looking up at her mentor, Whitepaw smiled. "Oh, I'm looking forward to it. Why shouldn't I? I love coming to Gatherings," she told him, then wondered why he asked in the first place. Oh... wait.. maybe it was because she was daydreaming so much that it seemed like she didn't mind about what was going on at the moment here in the Clearing. "It's just that I was thinking about lots of stuff," she added after her realization. Continuing the conversation, Whitepaw asked her mentor, "Do you suppose PebbleClan thinks Lilystorm's accidental crossing of the border was for... darker purposes?" PebbleClan Ashfoot glanced up at his leader and deputy ahead of him and then entered the Clearing proudly, taking large and confident strides like he always did. Perhaps now ReedClan would give their best excuse as to why the patrol Ashfoot himself was on had found the smell of one of their warriors on PebbleClan turf. In the meantime, Ashfoot had nothing to do, but he decided to give a whack at socializing. He noticed Echomask all by herself and went over. "So, what do you think will happen tonight?" he asked her as the white and gray warrior sat beside his Clanmate. --- Icepaw's ear twitched and her paws kneaded the ground anxiously. I'm tired of this camp. I want to move around instead of just sitting here like a piece of grass or whatever, she thought. The white cat trotted out of PebbleClan's camp and looked over her shoulder at the other cats who were left behind. Hopefully they'd assume that she was just taking a stroll, because she wouldn't just secretly go out to the Gathering by herself. But that'd be an interesting endeavor for perhaps another night. Breaking into a run, the wind felt cool on Icepaw's white fur, and her green eyes searched through the forest to make her own random little path today. Once ReedClan scent hit her nose, she skidded to a halt, noticing the border was only a few tail-lengths away. She knew enough to keep away from that border, so the apprentice walked a safe distance away from it but basically still following its path. (Coalpaw should find Icepaw and be her friend. As long as Whitepaw doesn't find out. :u )
