"Anything could happen I guess," Echomask replied. "As long as ReedClan has a good excuse, I'm fine." She felt all twitchy, unsure exactly how to handle this little interaction. She bent her head and gave her chest fur a couple of quick licks. It wouldn't hurt her to sit and socialize with a clanmate before the start of the gathering. "Really though, what good did crossing the borders do that cat, do you know? Were they chasing prey or did they just stray across?" Echomask inclined her head, somewhat curious. She hadn't actually heard that much about the incident. "I don't even know which of their cats did it, do have have any idea?" she meowed, glancing at Ashfoot. |

PebbleClanCrowflight swiftly followed Falconstar, the black tom settling into Swiftwind's previous spot quite comfortably. He bowed his head down in respect to Rainsong and Breezestar, then turned his gaze towards the sea of cats before him. Crowflight's striped tail twitched incessantly, anxious to get the Gathering started.

"Oh well, Lilystorm does have a knack for causing unintended trouble. It's easy to read her, she's very fidgety." Amberpaw continued. "But Breezestar... Well, there's something... Off about him. He's hard to study." She stole a glance at the expressionless ReedClan leader, slightly impressed by his ability to maintain such a stoic manner. "And you know, I'm fine. Nothing's changed, really." Amberpaw rolled her eyes. "We're denmates. We see each other every day, there isn't much to share right now, anyways, with every cat being so focused on the latest border crossing."

"Greetings, Falconstar. ReedClan is doing well." Breezestar said with equal volume, turning his gaze towards Falconstar, only to realize that the PebbleClan leader's attention was diverted towards something else. Following Falconstar's eyes, Breezestar saw Lilystorm and a PebbleClan tom. He twitched his ears in slight irritation. Perhaps his calculations were wrong, and Rainsong was right in believing that Lilystorm should have stayed back in the camp. It was too late now, and Breezestar could only initiate the Gathering and hope that it would be over quickly. "Should we start now, Falconstar?" Breezestar asked.

"Flashfoot?" Coalpaw called out, wandering around the forest. After some time, it was becoming increasingly obvious that Coalpaw had lost the older tom's trail. Growling in frustration, Coalpaw turned back towards the camp. He then realized that it was foolish to run off so brashly, halting in mid-step and wondering what sort of excuse he could come up with. "I guess I'll go and bring back some prey." He said with a shrug, padding onwards to walk near the border, eyes peeled for any sudden movements.

Lilystorm was about to say 'haha... What?', but her attention was diverted by Falconstar's loud mew. She immediately quietened down with the rest of the cats, eyes focused on the Clan leaders ahead of her and the tom.

"We can always start now," Falconstar meowed, sighing in relief as it meant that Talonstrike's flirting would stop as soon as the Gathering started. He may be the biggest flirt, but he was a respectful cat. [Gah :c sorry for the three-liner. I have to study. D: ] |

Foxpelt walked deeper and deeper into the forest obviously not hearing Coalpaw's shouting. He finally stopped his irritation fading away and looked around, realizing that he didn't recognize the forest he was currently in he started to panic realizing that once again his brash decisions had gotten him into trouble. "Ugh , what will I do now .. and where am I?!" Starting to feel a little scared he thought he heard something, he suddenly tasted the fresh scent of a fox panicking he retreated into the nearest tree. "I'm in for it now" he whispered to himself.
Pebbleclan
Featherwhisker's irritation was getting to her and she got up to go for a little walk near the gathering place as soon as she was out of sight she heard Falconstar's mew. Irritated even more she turned around and went back into the clearing. |

Ashfoot shook his head. "I don't know who exactly, all I know is that it was one of ReedClan's cats who crossed the border. However, I, for one, would love to see that cat get punished for what he or she did. No cat deserves to get away with a clean sweep like that." As he said the last sentence, the warrior thought to himself, Except me. Ashfoot gazed up and saw the two leaders near each other. "I think they're getting ready to start," he told Echomask. ReedClan Icepaw's ears pricked as she heard footsteps that weren't hers, and they seemed to be coming from... the other side of the border. Oh no. What would a PebbleClan cat think? Will they wonder if she was going to cross along with Lilystorm? Her thoughts raged in panic until one said something else: Icepaw, if anybody from PebbleClan gives you sass, just tell them you're on your own side and that's acceptable and they should buzz off. This made pretty good sense, so she decided to do just that. But she was lonely. Maybe the PebbleClan cat was a good conversationalist...? "Hey, anyone out there?" the she-cat called out in the night.

"Yes, she's very....." He thought a kind word to put it. "Energy-filled. Breezestar looks like a solemn, mean leader. But by studying his voice, he's kind though fiercly protective of his clan." Hallowpaw realized he had announced his ability to distinguish cats from their voices. [[Is it leaf-bare, or what? Leaf-bare would be a good setting]] Hallowpaw's ears perked up as the leaders started. He stole a look at Amberpaw and listened intently. |

[ Actually Lene, this RP is supposed to be slow-moving so it's kay xD Also, I read The Darkest Hour... so I'm not exactly sure if this is the right way to start a Gathering? /fails ] "Cats of ReedClan and PebbleClan!" Falconstar meowed, as he leapt up onto the Great Rock. He nodded at Breezestar, allowing the older leader to start speaking first as a sign of respect. Talonstrike stood up, flicking his tail at the pretty she-cat. "The Gathering is starting. See you soon, pretty lady." [ But really ;o; Lilystorm is sah pretty. ] Spidermask looked up from admiring flowers near an oak tree as a confident meow carried on for a few miles. "The Gathering must be starting," he thought, as he took the flower he had been admiring with him. He dropped the flower near Featherwhisker, a PebbleClan cat, and sat beside her. "Hello there," he meowed. "How is PebbleClan these days?" [ D< Spidermask sounds like an assassin! ] |

NightEars mental ramblings paused as she turned her head towards the leaders. She stood and pawed closer, taking up a place at the foot of the stones.

"Always thinking." BrambleClaw purred, obviously amused. His face fell a little, thinking about the apprentices question. "I'm not sure. Either that or some very... foolish behavior." He murmured, ears flicking back. He shook himself, and stood.
"Come. Lets move closer to the stones. I'm sure they'll start any minu-" The leader of pebble clan called them, and he chuckled. "Right now."

The other two tabby siblings were still busy in their tussle. Playing like kits while they should have been watching the camp. If their brother had seen them, he'd have been outraged... But staying back during the gatherings gave them time to have fun.

Coalpaw's head shot up when he heard a voice, a mouse clamped in his jaws. Turning back to quickly cover up the fallen prey and continue his hunt, Coalpaw stalked closer to the borders, wondering if the source of the voice was a ReedClan cat. It seemed feminine and meek though, compared to the strong bass tone of a senior warrior like Breezestar, a cat whom Coalpaw truly looked up to. Coalpaw blended in perfectly with the evening, his ginger stripes barely seeing through the thick undergrowth. His eyes narrowed when they focused on a white she-cat, possibly around his own age. Coalpaw was only observing her to see if she dared to cross the border, something only the bumbling Lilystorm would do.

"Err, bye?" Lilystorm called after the retreating tom, then decided to shuffle closer to her fellow clanmates. Spotting Brambleclaw nearby, Lilystorm snuck over to him and his apprentice, glancing over her shoulder every now and then to see if Breezestar was about to speak.

Breezestar nodded his head in thanks to Falconstar, his respect for the younger leader growing and his doubts towards Falconstar's youth fading away. Stepping up on the rock, Breezestar looked down upon the cats of PebbleClan and ReedClan. "PebbleClan is as healthy and as strong as ever, and we do not have much news to offer this Gathering." Breezestar began in his quick and almost mechanical voice. "Although a few days ago, our apprentice Coalpaw scented badger on the the borders, and we fear that the creature has crossed into ReedClan territory."
[[ hrm. I guess Falconstar should talk now, then it's Crowflight's turn to happily crow about his new spot as deputy? lolol bad pun intended. ]]

What, no mention about the breach in Clan borders a few days earlier? Crowflight thought in irritation as Breezestar concluded his short speech. The black tom gave Falconstar a meaningful look, silently hoping that his leader would bring up the topic during the Gathering. If not, I can always mention it. He thought smugly, tail swooshing over the rock as if to sweep away any remains of Swiftwind's presence.

"He doesn't strike me as the mean type." Amberpaw whispered before she was hushed up by an older warrior. Ears bent backwards and flattened against her head, Amberpaw listened on as the PebbleClan leader gave them a short summary how his clan was doing, breezing over the unauthorized border-crossing.

Rainsong nodded at his leader's words, silently acknowledging them. Still he didn't look at Crowflight, merely staring ahead at the two clans. His gaze drifted over his clanmates, resting on Lilystorm. He hadn't payed any attention to Talonstrike before, and he didn't notice the tom now. Breezestar hadn't mentioned the incident with the borders, and Rainsong figured he was waiting for Falconstar to bring it up, if the other leader did at all. He absently twitched an ear, uncomfortable with Swiftwind's notable absence.

"Yeah," Echomask murmured to Ashfoot as the two clan leaders started to speak. She felt for the cat who had crossed the borders. Ashfoot was right in believing that the cat should be punished for what they did, but at the same time it might have been an accident, and now the cat would probably have cats from both clans blaming him or her for all the tension. There had certainly been a lot of that going on in PebbleClan anyway. How exactly had Reedclan coped with the cat who had crossed the borders. Echomask wished she knew.
Right now she also wished she were anywhere but sitting here with a clanmate. She felt extremely self-conscience right now, everything in her was telling her to move over by quite a few fox-lengths. Is it even possible for me to ever be comfortable around even my clanmates? she wondered silently, hoping that the answer would reveal itself sooner or later.
She desperately hoped sooner.

Personality~ When you first meet WhisperBreeze she is very shy and tends to keep to herself, She never makes eye contact when talking to other cats and rarely says much other than 'Okay'. Although as you get to know her she will begin to open up more and become more talkative. She's good with kits and loves to help the queens out when they need the help. She hopes to have kits of her own one day.
