Falconstar cleared his throat. [Wait... can cats clear their throats ... ? ] "Lately on patrols, we've been scenting maybe one or two cats from ReedClan crossing the borders." His eyes flickered to Lilystorm - on quite a few occasions, the patrols had reported a cream colored cat crossing the boarders.
Spidermask followed Falconstar's gaze, and soon realized that he meant Lilystorm. The weird little she-cat had a hard time trying to keep herself out of trouble, and it was no surprise that she had crossed the borders before. However the severity of the situation had stopped him from making a sarcastic remark - what would Breezestar think? Could there be a war breaking out between the two Clans?
Talonstrike nodded - he usually went on patrols, and reported to Falconstar that there was a ReedClan scent lingering about the borders recently. He turned to the she-cat that he had conversed with earlier - her scent matched the ones he found on the border exactly. However Talonstrike knew that his young leader had a calm mind and would not declare war on ReedClan. Not yet, at least.
Leaftail scrambled awake as she remembered something. Hopping off the branch onto one below, she slid down the tree with agility. [Does this even make sense? ] Scenting the borders, she forgot to mention that there were quite a few days when the patrols scented ReedClan.
