Because some random creep was trying to kill Skylar, so I killed him and his cronies are after us.
Calci took the knife she had used to kill the guy. It still had faint traces of fresh blood on it. She wiped it off.

Positive. It is extremely well hidden, and Stratoh is going to keep guard. Trust me, you can't sneak a stinkin' cookie past Stratoh when she is on guard.
Stratoh walked up to the window and leaned against the wall, looking out. Apparently, nothing bad was going to happen, because she turned around and faced them again.

Violet took the backpack from Gray.

Violet stuttered taking the backpack, her cheeks were bright red.

Avven shook his head and looked at him grimmly Bastared.... He walked away and stuffed his hands in his pockets. He whistled for Pike and she arrived a few seconds latter. He climbed onto her back and rode her back up. "Hey, Violet? Would you like to go riding with me?" He politly asked.
