Maya stepped off the train, her sister Sola following her. Sola breathed in the fresh warm night air, her starling fluttering behind her. "It's good to be back, sister!" Sola said happily. "Cheep!" Fiero chimed in, landing on Sola's shoulders. Maya smile, her black cat stepping out of the train and sliding in between Maya and Sola. Chem stopped the two sisters, mewing pitifully. Maya rolled her eyes and picked her cat up. "Who's a lazy boy?" Maya purred, and Chem meowed happily and settled on her shoulder. The two sisters chuckled and walked to where a teacher was. "Welcome, students!" The teacher said. "Please wait, as a group of 6 students shall come with me!" She pointed at the two sisters. "You are the first two! Please wait for four others students to proceed to Hogwarts!" The two girls nodded obediently and settled down, Sola sitting on a rock and Maya crouching on the ground with Chem.

Cody hopped off the train, his owl perched on his shoulder. Dime hooted, flapping her wings. "Good girl, Dime." Cody said in a soft voice, patting his barn owl's head. Dime hooted again and stepped closer to Cody's head, centimeters away from his ear. After walking for some time, Cody came across a female teacher, surrounded by two girls. "Welcome, student!" She chanted. Cody saw the black-haired girl roll her eyes. "You are the third one! Please wait for three other students to come, so we can proceed to Hogwarts!" "Um... okay?" Cody asked meekly, settling down on the ground.

 Violet stepped off the train and looked around. She smiled closing her eyes and reached a hand up to pet the cat the sat up on her head. She opened her eyes and wondered where she was supposed to go. After looking around a little while she decided to try to walk around and see if she could find out anything. She soon came to a teacher and two girls and boys. She looked up as the teacher spoke to her giving her a welcome and telling her to wait for one more person to come. She lifted the cat off her head and cradled it in her arms like a baby.

 Ilian walked off the train. He had seen a few other students walk towards a teacher and decided to do the same. "Welcome!" The teacher said. Ilian looked around at the other students curiously. There were three girls and two boys not counting himself.

Cody looked up when he first heard the footsteps. The boy next to him did the same, though the look of indifference on his face did not change. Everyone waved their hand, except for the blonde-haired girl. "Hello!" She sang happily. Cody couldn't help but smile. At least one student was excited for a new school year to begin at Hogwarts.

Maya and Sola looked up again when they saw a boy arrive, right behind the girl. "Hello!" Sola greeted again, grinning at both of them. The teacher nodded in approval, then straghtened her back. "Alright, you six, we're now ready to go to Hogwarts." She started walking in a brisk pace, and all the students stood up. "I think I saw the boy and the girl before, Maya!" Sola said, flicking her gaze towards the girl and the boy. "I think the girl is from Slytherin, and the boy is a Hufflepuff!" Maya rolled her eyes. "Why not ask them?" She said in a sarcastic tone. Sola, not really understanding the concept of sarcasm, nodded happily and wandered off to walk next to the boy. "Hello!" She repeated. "You're from Hufflepuff, right?"

 Ilian looked over at the blond girl as she walked over to him. "Yes, I am." He said in a friend voice. "Which are you in?" He asked as his eyes flickered over to the girls bird. He watched as the teacher started to walk away and followed trying to keep up.

 Violet followed the teacher. She looked down as she heard a loud purr come from the cat and rubbed its head making the cat purr louder. She felt like she was going to burst of excitement and nervousness but she was glad that her cat was with her.

Sola noticed the boy's eyes move to look at Fiero. "Oh, I'm in Gryffindor." Sola said with a shrug. "I'm not sure how, though." She muttered, and Fiero twittered in his singsong voice. "I guess you're wondering why I have a starling instead of a sparrow." She said, looking at the boy's owl. "Oh, yes, by the way, my name is Sola! And this is Fiero." She pointed at the white starling that perched on her head. He chirped in reply, constantly tilting his head from side to side.

Maya noticed Chem squirm to look around. "Aww, another cat, do you see another cat?" Maya grinned as Chem meowed to the girl's cat. "I'm sorry if Chem is causing any disturbance to your cat." Maya called.

 "My name is Ilian." Ilian said smiling. He looked over at his own as the big white bird ruffled his feathers making him look almost twice as big. " And this is Quill." He said as the owl blinked looking up as he heard his name. He squinted his eyes and looked around not able to see in the sun very good,

 Violet looked up from the cat. "Oh, its fine...He doesn't really mind anyone as long as he is being held." She said. "I'm Violet...I'm in Slytherin and the cats names it Griffin." She said looking at Chem. Chem seemed like a strange name for a cat to Violet, but so was Griffin.

"Aw, what a nice name!" Sola commented, nodding. "So do you use his shedded feathers for a pen?" She joked lightly and chuckled in a good-natured way. "Fiero doesn't really like being kept inside. He just hops around the trees right outside of the Gryffindor room. Oh, and it's nice to meet you, Ilian. I don't think we've met before." Sola held her hand out for the boy to shake.

"Griffin... So I guess he has the heart and courage of one?" Maya asked, then grinned. Chem squirmed again, and made his way to her left shoulder. "Oh, geez." Maya muttered. "He's such a squirmer. Chem loves being held, but he gets fidgety after awhile." She didn't really care whether or not the girl was a Slytherin. Maya wasn't really the competitive cheering type.

 Ilian shook the girls hand. "Haha, actually my sister once did...Quill wasn't very happy though because she plucked it from him." He laughed.

 "Um...Maybe the heart but not the courage." Violet laughed looking down at cat who had just noticed Chem and was starting to get a little curious about the other cat.

Sola laughed whole-heartedly along with the boy. "Oh, is that your sister?" She looked at the girl with the cat. "My sister has a cat too. Surprisingly, her cat and my starling go well together." Sola shrugged. " I guess it's because they were raised under the same roof. Same thing happened with my sister and I."

"Ah, I agree." Maya nodded, and noticed Griffin starting to look at Chem. "Aw, hey there, Griffin!" Maya called. She was such a sucker for cats. "Want to come and play with Chem?" Maya wanted to lift Chem up in the air, but she knew that her cat didn't like that. "Is Griffing a... boy?" Maya guessed.

 "Yea...I use to have a girl, but she ran away." Violet said. She heard a small meow come from Griffin as he sat up in her arms leaned over as if he wanted to get a better look at Chem.

 "Violet? Oh, no, she is my sisters friend." He said looking ahead at the white haired girl who was talking to another girl.

With a sigh, a girl clothed is black stepped off the train. Gold-lining spread over her cloak and she glared at a boy who opened his mouth to say somethign about it. A black cat with a white diamond-like blotch on his head, sat in her arms, his tail curling over her arms. Akilina pat him on the head and her purred lightly, making his and Aki's body vibrate with delight. The 15-year-old slowly walked towards the other and then stopped, gazing up at the the woman.

"Wait up!" Akai called to his twin, running up, holding the identical cat in his arm. The only difference was that the cat in his arms was white with a black mark and it was female. Alright, so they weren't identical. "Why do you go so fast?" He  wondered aloud as she folded his arms, approaching his sister. He watched her eyes flash with anger and he instantly knew the answer to the question he had just asked...

Standing off to the side of the group was a slim and short girl, wrapped up in a black cloak with a deep indigo lining. 'Look Sab, some of the other students. I wonder what year they're in...' The besra on her arm gave a low croak, and turned his yellow-eyed gaze on the other people.

'Now,' she said soothingly, stroking his black-dappled grey feathers. 'They won't do any harm to you, they would regret it.' Her cold blue eyes narrowed and watched the group closely.
