With extreme carefulness, Alex slithered his way between two hufflepuff girls and began to talk to them about their summer. They weren't girls that he was in love with, just girls from his neighborhood who he only talked to at Hogwarts. Everywhere else, they ignored him and he was fine with that. He gave Akai to thumbs up when he saw the week smile of the boy who, years ago, had been placed in a house different from his sister. An unusual thing.

More sat down at the Ravenclaw table and turned, seeing a girl at the gyriffindor table. He hated the table thing, I mean, why couldn't they all be mixed. "Hey, what's your name?" He wondered, holding out his hand after tapping the girl on the shoulder...

Sola looked to where Aki's brother was. She shook her head in a good-natured manner. "He still didn't change, correct, Aki?" She asked. Fiero jumped about, leaping from right shoulder, to head, to left shoulder, then back to Sola's head. Sola was used to this behavior, as starlings were naturally jittery and did not like to stop for resting. She smiled and resisted the urge to pat Fiero. He didn't really enjoy being patted on the head.

[[Feyth, is More talking to Maya or Sola, or Aki? ]]

 Violet walked into the hall and sat down at the Slytherin table. She looked across at the boy in front of her. He had brown hair and brown eyes and a little white dog looking thing next to him. Violet held tightly onto Griffin as the cat dug his claws into her leg and glared at the white animal as if it was the most disgusting thing he had ever seen. Violet was at that point glad that Griffin was hiden on her lap and under the table where no one could see him.

 Ilian sat down at the Hufflepuff table but no one seemed to be there and he soon became lonely and bored. He got up and walked over to the Gryffindor table where he saw the nice girl named Sola that he had been talking to earlier.

Levi noticed a girl watching him. "Yes, can I help you?" He asked, holding Shichi closer to him. Usually new people didn't exactly like Shichi, since he was a dog and all. Especially girls. Girls were so attached to their kitties and birds. Shichi poked his head out from Levi's arm and yapped happily, wagging his tail and panting.

Sola noticed the boy she was talking to earlier walking to her table. "Oh, hello, Ilian!" She chirped happily. Fiero chimed in, chirping along with his owner. "I guess Fiero likes you too." Sola smiled and lifted her right hand to her head for Fiero to hop on. 

[[Maya 'tis Ravenclaw. But she's stuck too, since I'm not too sure who More, Feyth's charrie, is talking to.]]

 "I was just looking at your dog." Violet said as she heard a small moan come from Griffin. She was ready to smack the cat across the head when the cat finally stopped making weird sounds and turned her eyes away from Shichi.

 "Hi!" Ilian said sitting down at the table. He smiled happy to have someone to talk to again.

"Oh...alright then." Levi said, eyeing the cat that sat on the girl. "Does your cat... not like dogs?" He asked uneasily, tightening his grip on Shichi. His dog didn't feel anything, just wagging his furry tail and yapping quietly. "Shhh...." Levi muttered to Shichi. His dog immediately stopped barking, and looked at the girl curiously.

Sola smiled back at Ilian. "I guess being the first to Hogwarts is kind of boring, right?" She nodded to the empty Hufflepuff table. Fiero had hopped onto Sola's outstretched hand, and was now perched on her lap. "So, what's your owl's name, Ilian?" Sola asked.

Bakki-Cho watched his sister move from her seat at thE Slytherin table and take interest in some boys pet. His osprey shuffled her feet and let out a clicking noise. "Let them have fun Grendle."he cooed to the bird.

 Violet was about to answer when another girl came over to the table. She didn't like interrupting other peoples conversations so she just remained silent and began to pet her cat who now instead of being disgusted by the dog was starting to get a little curious about it.

 "Yea...I wonder where the rest of the Hufflepuffs are." The word Hufflepuffs sounded kind of weird to Ilian but he couldn't think of anything to call them that didn't sound weird.

[[Mrr... Should Levi wait for Makki to reply, or talk to Violet? x.x ]]

Sola shrugged. "Hey, we're the first group. And the hall's pretty empty." She instinctively drew out her willow wand, Sola's habit when she was bored. Sola simply twirled it in her fingers, much like what a basketball player would do to a basketball. Fiero watched, slightly concerned. Willow wands were delicate, and Sola's was no exception.

((Hm...I don't know...I guess have him finish talking to Makki and then he can talk to Violet.))

 "That is true...Oh and the owls name is Quill." He said though he had thought he had already told her this. He sighed. "So, do you know anyone else here besides your sister?" He asked looking at the other people.

[[Pfft, Sola is forgetful :p ]]

Sola nodded. "Oh... riiiight." She said, remembering their short talk on the way to the Castle. "Sorry. I've got a short memory." Sola tapped her head, causing Fiero to tip slightly. Sola shrugged. "I know most of the Gryffindors in my year, and I suppose a few of Maya's friends. Though the Ravenclaw table seems a little empty." She looked around. "Actually, all the tables seem empty."

 "Yea, it seems like ot very many people are here yet." Ilian said looking around at the few people that were there. He looked over at Quill who was standing on his shoulder looking at Fiero curiously.

Jesca cursed when Sab started screeching on her shoulder. 'What is your problem?' she hissed to her besra, who flapped his wings defiantly at her. She was in the process of grabbing him and calming him down when he jumped off her shoulder, flying over to the Gryffindor table.

The falcon shrieked again, landing on the back of a girl's chair as he screamed at a cat sitting in the aforementioned girl's arms.

'Sab!' Jesca hissed again, iwshing that he was a bit more obediant.

[[Newfais what? O.o]]

 Sola nodded in agreement. "I guess Quill likes Fiero?" She chuckled, noticing Quill regarding her little starling. Fiero tilted his head to one side, flapping one wing and chirping a question. "Fiero is rather friendly around birds, though I'm not too sure about humans." Sola shrugged and noticed a large falcon flap from one point of the room to her table. "Oh, look! Another non-owl bird!" Sola said excitedly. Fiero jumped at the falcon's screech, twittering in complaint.

 "Yea, Quill like pretty much everyone." Ilian said looking over at the falcon. "I've seen a lot of animals around that I don't remember them allowing last year." He said.

"I guess they've become more relaxed with the animal rules. Not everyone can bond with only a toad, rat, cat or owl." Sola stroked Fiero's white feathers with a finger. He still seemed a bit ruffled from the falcon, but Fiero chirped a little song. Sola smiled. "He really likes singing." She explained. "I guess it's more like a starling thing."
