Age- 6 seasons

Personality- Akane is pretty much the opposite of Hitomi. She is cheerful, energetic, impulsive and bold, always ready to go. She doesn't tend to ponder or think things through, either, blindly jumping into situations. Akane is always talking, and is rather exitable. Some Guardians even say she seems to fiery for a Dream Guardian!. However, like Hitomi, Akane is extremely loyal to her friends, ready to die to protect them.She is a very adept fighter, skillfully rushing into battle. She is also quite smart, like Hitomi, though this intelligence is used more toward battle skills than academic ones. She is very young for a Guardian, and her inexperience and curiosity sometimes get her into trouble, but she usually can charm her way out of situations. Even though she seems to not take much seriously, she is dedicated to fighting Demons, and can occasionally be uncharacteristically sensitive and thoughtful.

Akane has had a childhood fairly free of trauma. Her parents are both skilled fighters, and they trained her from an early age to protect others and rely on instincts to hunt Demons. She quickly proved to have an aptitude for fighting, cleverly combining strength and skill. She was discovered to be the Dream Guardian, and, because of the pressing need for Guardians, it was decided she should immediately find her bond, rather than waiting a few more seasons to mature. When she was told, Akane immediately agreed to become a Guardian at once. Although she had never lost a loved one, she knew others that had, and was eager to avenge all those who had died because of Demons.  Her parents were worried, but both realized that new Guardians were needed and agreed to let her become one. As a gift, they gave Akane the rings on her paws and tail, telling her that she would need them more than they did. Akane treasures these gifts and is determined to make her parents proud.

Weaknesses/Flaws- Akane's inexperience and youth is a major flaw, causing her to get into trouble older Guardians wouldn't. She is also impulsive, never thinking things through. She doesn't listen very well, either, and tends to blurt out things she shouldn't. Lastly, Akane is rather naive due to her youth.

Talents/Strengths- Akane is a natural fighter, easily able to defeat others. She is also very strong, as well fast. She is quite intelligent, although, as mentioned, she uses these skills more for fighting than reading. Her impulsiveness is also one of her strengths-she uses her instincts and never even thinks of giving up. Lastly, Akane is fiercely loyal.

Likes- Akane likes the thrill she gets from fighting. She also enjoys running, as well as talking. Like Hitomi, she enjoys looking at the stars, a suprisingly peaceful thing for someone so energetic.

Dislikes- Akane dislikes people who use or hurt others. She also hates disloyal people, or those who lie. Like Hitomi, places that are desolate and devoid of color scare her-although she doesn't like to admit it!

Weapons/Defenses- Akane has her teeth and claws, as well as her strength, as natural defenses. The rings around her paws have sharpened edges, and she uses them to cut opponents. Her main physical attack, however, relies on the rings on her tail- by whipping her tail around, she can throw the discs at opponents. ( I'm still not sure what being the Dream Guardian would give her)

Accessories- Akane has silver rings encircling each of her legs, as well as multiple rings stacked upon her tail. These rings are sharpened all around the edges to the point where simply pressing your finger gently on the side will draw blood. Etched onto the rings are intricate spiraling designs.
