[Gah, I don't know what to do with my kitties...are Coalpaw and them still saying hi to Sunstrike? ]

Scree padded cautiously into camp, flinching everytime a strange cat neared her. She looked around the clearing, at loss at what to do and angry at the puffed-up Clan tom that had just left her in the dust. "What now.?" she mewed to Wind, who at least wasn't Clan, yet.

Bluepaw appeared in the nursery behind Coalpaw and Rainpaw, a small mouse clenched in her jaws. "Hey," she mewed in greeting as she pushed the fresh-kill towards Sunstrike and Nightkit. Her whiskers twitched in amusement as Nightkit squeaked with delight at the sight of the food.

Sunstrike purred at the apprentices' enthusiasm. "If Nightkit wants to play, he can. He's already eaten," she meowed gently.

Nightkit scrambled up to the three apprentices, an adoring look on his face. "Will you play with me? Please, please please?" he mewed excitedly, all but bouncing up and down on his paws in joy. 

[Coalpaw sounds like he's on a sugar-high O-o']

Bluepaw purred. "Of course he's healthy. Sunstrike is an amazing mother." Suddenly, Bluepaw had an idea. "Wait here," she meowed, backing out of the nursey. Moments, later, she came back with a small wad of moss. "Let's play with this!"

Nightkit clawed at the mouse, though his reach was too short for him to reach it. He instead decided to pounce on Coalpaw's tail, batting it with one tiny paw.

Sunstrike meowed sternly at Coalpaw. "Coalpaw! We do not play with food like that! What would StarClan think of us treating our prey in such a way?"

Coalpaw dropped the mouse as soon as Sunstrike scolded him. "Sorry, Sunstrike." He mewed solemnly, then whirled around to whip his tail out of Nightkit's reach. "Come on, Nightkit. Play with the moss!" Coalpaw picked up the moss and tossed it at Bluepaw, hitting her on the paw.

Bluepaw swatted the moss back to Coalpaw, but her whiskers twitched when Nightkit neatly intercepted the toss. "Looks like you got beaten by a kit!" she taunted, crouhcing down and waggling her hindquarters.

Nightkit ran straight for the moss, and tumbled head over tail as he hit it. But he purred with pleasure as he came to a stop a few foxlenths from Coalpaw, moss clutched tightly in his paws.

Sunstrike shook her head at their antics, then turned her attention to the mouse. Though slightly battered, Sunstrike still decided to eat it.

Bluepaw purred as she padded up to the two. "Me neither. It's seemed to long since I was a kit. Carefree and without a single responsibility." Giving a quick glance at Nightkit, she suddenly sprang at Coalpaw, knocking him over.

Nightkit hissed when Coalpaw tried to claw the ball of moss away, but let go anyways. "I want to play-fight," he announced, just as Bluepaw sprang at Coalpaw. "Oh..." he mewed, unsure of what to say then.

Coalpaw let out a startled 'oof' sound when Bluepaw pounced. "Hey, at least warn me first!" He complained, then rolled over and got on his paws again. "You want to play-fight?" Coalpaw asked, then pawed Nightkit again on his head. "Alright then!" Coalpaw lashed his tail on the ground playfully.

Nightkit gave a playful growl and dashed forwards. However, his rush was impeded by his tripping over his large paws. He rolled over on the ground, coming to a stop by Coalpaw's paws. "Oof!" he exclaimed.

Coalpaw let out a mrrow of laughter. "Can't become a great warrior if you trip over your paws, Nightkit!" He teased, picking up the kit by his scruff. Coalpaw then crouched down. "Now, tackle me with all you got, Nightkit!" Coalpaw dared, but his eyes held a twinkle of amusement.

"Nothing," Willowleaf murmured, shaking out of her ogling. "And, oh, want to hunt ?" she asked Sunflare.
