Wind dipped his head, "I do." He kept looking at the cats, one of them((rainpaw)) didnt seem to like him. He could hear her whispers about him being no better than mousedung, but he saw it as a challenge. A challenge to prove that he was just as valuable as any warrior here.

Soulstar continued, "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Wind, from now on, you shall be known as Windrush. The Clan honors you for your determinedness[[ lol xD I have no idea what the something for determine should be]] and courage, and we welcome you as a full warrior of LeafClan. You are to sit vigil for the night." she said the last part silently to Windrush , in case he didn't know what to say. Rainpaw looked at Coalpaw. "Of course! But ... a rogue... it may or may not be good to trust him. You know..." she murmured, trailing off. Willowleaf piped up unknowingly. "But, he doesn't know the ways of a warrior? Shall we have mentoring come in?" Soulstar nodded agreeingly at Willowleaf. "I shall mentor Windrush myself, for he has not learnt the warrior ways of fighting and the code. But we must all accept him, no matter what." she then flicked her tail to dismiss the Clan. |

"He seems nice enough." Coalpaw piped up. "I think he'll be fine. And Soulstar will be mentoring him! Isn't that cool? I mean, Willowleaf is a good mentor, but having the clan leader mentor you would be such an honor!"

Windrush blinked at Duskpaw. He wasnt allowed to speak until the next morning. But he didnt know either of the cats she mentioned. As a rouge, if you met another cat, the meetings usually were short, and names werent always mentioned, just things like, did the nearest Clan patrol a lot, or how the prey was in a certain area. __ Adderstrike padded up to Rainflower, "so how are you feeling?" he asked her, tilting his head. Rainpaw nodded. "It's much easier to make sure a new warrior-especially a rogue- does not make any mischeif with a leader for the mentor." She knew what her mother was thinking, and always voiced it out. Willowleaf , who was behind Coalpaw, smiled proudly. [[Fail]] Soulstar shot a glance at the fresh-kill pile. "Why not Willowleaf, Adderstrike, Rainpaw and Coalpaw go hunting? I'll tag along, and Sunflare will look after the Clan." Rainpaw jumped up. "Hunting with the leader!" she mewed. Immediately she ran to get Willowleaf and Adderstrike, and pulled Coalpaw along. Willowleaf laughed at the enthusiasm. "You'll be a great warrior, Rainpaw." |

ject, but he remained quiet. "Alright then, Soulstar." He turned to Willowleaf. "Go catch lots of prey, and watch over Coalpaw. He's the energetic one." He said, his eyes twinkling with amusement. He knew that Coalpaw wasn't that experienced as a hunter. --- Rainflower looked up at Adderstrike. She tried to flex her shoulder, but she felt a twinge of pain. "Yes, I do feel better." She lied, wincing. Rainflower wasn't that much of a liar, but she never would want to make Adderstrike worried. After all, he was busy with Dreampaw. --- Coalpaw copied Rainpaw and jumped up excitedly. "Wow, this is going to be fun!" He said. "I bet I can catch a rabbit so big, I'll impress Soulstar and become a warrior tomorrow!" He leapt up and raced to the camp entrance. |

Rainflower rolled her eyes. "I'll be fine, Adderstrike." She smiled. "But thanks for worrying about me." Rainflower thought it was strange for him to worry so much. Were friends supposed to worry that much? Rainflower shrugged the thought away and touched Adderstrike's shoulder with the tip of her tail in a grateful manner. --- Dreampaw noticed Adderstrike asking Rainflower, hearing her name. "Ah, time to get up." Dreampaw sighed, lifting herself up. "I'm here, Adderstrike." Dreampaw said, looking up at him. 'Why can't Rainflower see he likes her?' Dreampaw thought. 'Perhaps she really is that dense.' She smirked. 'I do feel sorry for my mentor.' |

Adderstrike smiled at Rainflower, "well, okay then." he said, glancing at Dreampaw, "I have to go, see you later." he purred, padding away wtih a flick of his tail, "lets go Dreampaw, we need to do some hunting." he said, looking up at teh sky, wondering for a moment how much daylight was left, probably not much, but they would take advantage of it. He padded past Windrush, who dipped his head to Adderstrike and Dreampaw as they left camp.

"Goodbye, Windrush." Dreampaw murmured as she walked past the ex-loner, quiet enough to not let Adderstrike hear. She smirked at him and trotted after her mentor. She had already surpa-ssed Adderstrike, and was a few trees away from the camp. Dreampaw heard the thumps of a rabbit's feet. She paused and sniffed the air, quickly locating the unwary herbivore. The brown rabbit snuffled on the gra-ss, nibbling on it. Dreampaw smiled. 'Easy prey.' She thought, dropping into a prowl. Of course, the rabbit had seen her long creamy pelt, and had darted away for an escape. 'No chance.' Dreampaw snarled ferociously and dashed off, chasing the rabbit. It was too easy. Dreampaw, with her incredible speed, had caught the rabbit within heartbeats. "Here, Adderstrike." Dreampaw walked up to her mentor, lacking most of the strength the carry the heavy rabbit.

"good job." Adderstrike praised. He wasnt as good at catching rabbits, and praferrred mice. They were easier to sneak up on, but rabbits were bigger. And better prey. He scented the air, but could smell no more in the nearby area, so he picked up Dreampaw's rabbit, "lets go see if there is any more prey a little further along." he said, padding deeper into the forest. ((mmmmmmmmmm. *has a bacon chezburger* it ish nommeh.......just throught you would like to know!! XD)) |

"Alright, Adderstrike." Dreampaw said, and got up to follow her mentor. "You know, perhaps we should have brought Rainflower along." She said in an innocent voice, but her mouth curled in another smirk. She quickly hid it to avoid Adderstrike's scolding voice. |

((bleh. no chicken XD i just had a random craving for one, so I made one. I havent had a bacon cheeseburger in like, a year XD im a bit of a health freak. ice cream is my weakness though XD)) Adderstrike gave Dreampaw a dirty look, "haha. Very funny. But, she can say shes okay all she wants, but she was hurt and you know it." he said with a shrug. |
