Bluepaw crawled through the dirt tunnel, shaking her fur off quickly as she heard her mentor yowl for her. She padded up quickly to him, purring affectionately. "I'm sorry, I was checking up on mother and Nightkit, and then I had to go to the dir tunnel," she apologized, blinking with embaras.sment. Her tail flicked as she thought back to Sunstrike and her new brother Nightkit, who was getting fat on his mother's nutrient-rich milk. She was glad to see her mother filling out after the time they had spent in the forest.

Sunstrike yawned and gnawed on the piece of prey Bluepaw had brought her, finishing off the plump mouse with a satisfying 'crunch'. She curled around her kit and purred, feeling his tiny heart-beat against her flank. She licked his head softly, her tongue rasping over his fur as he mewled and turned over.

 Sunflare couldn't help but purr. At least Bluepaw had a heart, visiting her mother and brother. "I think Nightkit will grow up to be a great warrior, just like his sister will be." Sunflare said, his eyes held a twnkle of amusement. "Come on, then." Sunflare flicked his ear in the direction of the camp entrance. "Today we shall be practicing our hunting skills." Sunflare got up to head outside the camp, but paused when he saw Coalpaw sitting in the middle of camp, doing nothing. Doing nothing was never Coalpaw's thing. It was usually Dreampaw that did the lazing. "Coalpaw, what are you doing?" Sunflare called.

Coalpaw looked up when he heard his name. 'Willowleaf?' He thought hopefully, though the hope was only temporary, as he saw the deputy's flaming ginger pelt. "I'm waiting for Willowleaf, Sunflare." Coalpaw replied. "I don't know where she is." Coalpaw looked around the camp again. He saw the deputy pause and think. "Would you like to come hunting with Bluepaw and I?" Sunflare asked. Coalpaw brightened up. "Can I? Will Willowleaf let me?" "Of course, Coalpaw." Sunflare purred. Coalpaw instantly got up and raced to the camp entrance, bouncing up and down. "Come on, then! I bet I'll bring down an eagle today!" Sunflare rolled his eyes and trotted on, pausing to wait for Bluepaw.

Adderstrike purred and padded up to Rainflower, "well, since we were going to take Duskpaw with us training today, I guess you should come to." he said, flicking his tail. He glanced at Duskit, then back to Rainflower. If she didnt want to, he wouldnt bug her, but it was better to train with friends in his opinion. And I'd love to spend some time with her. He thought.

Windheart walked out of the den. She stretched and yawned then headed out to her sunning rock. She wished she was better at making friends, so that she wasn't so alone all the time, but she was too shy.

Coalshadow ran fast down the banks of a stream. He loved the feel of wind in his hair. He stopped suddenly and went to take a drink from the water.

Snowbreeze padded out of camp, in search of something to do. She padded to the stream to get a quick drink before she was going to go hunting, and there she saw Coalshadow. She bobbed her head in greeting, then bent her head down to take a drink of water.
