Adderstrike looked at the dead fox, then at Wind and Scree, "Thank you two." he said sincerely, "If you hadn't shown up, that fox would have killed me." He said, looking at Wind, "I am Adderstrike of LeafClan, who are you?" he asked. Wind glanced at him distrustfully for a moment, "Wind. I am from no clan." he said, sitting down and wrapping his tail around his paws. |

Scree sat on her haunches and licked a paw thoughtfully. "I am Scree," she meowed, offering no more about herself than she deemed necessary. Her tail flicked with annoyance, now she would either be forced out of the territory or into their Clan. At least she would put up a fight, her numerous battle scars proved that.

"Well then Scree, and Wind, I can't promise you anything, but if you wish, you could speak to our leader about staying with the clan." he said, watching Scrre nervously, something about her made him nervous. Wind tilted his head, "I never put much thought into being a Clan cat. But I can see how it would have its benifits." he said thoughtfully, "Safety, friends, and help when you are sice, but then, there is Clan wars." he was mostly talking to himself as he thought it over. |

Scree glanced at the cream tom with a look of disgust. "It's a shame that cats must rely on others to survive," she said sharply, turning her sea-blue eyes on him. There was something about this cat, perhaps the way he held himself, so proud and strong, that sparked a small flame of interest in Scree.
