The red paws of a dragon were slowly moved into the light of the sun as the head of a balck wolf with the pointed red ears of a dragon stepped out, his violet cross-shaped pupils shrinking in the light. The male stepped out further, random patches of red scales seeming to glitter amongst the stark black of his fur. The black hind paws emerged a moment later, a pair of tattered and ripped dragon's wings stretching out before they were folded against his sides, seeing as they were totally useless. A scaled and spiked dragon's tail whipped behind him as his glowing red eyes surveyed his home, pointed ears swiveling forward as he sat down, tail curling around his paws as the claws of his dragon-like front paws dug into the earth.
This beast went by the name of Monster, for that was what he was. A monstrous mix of dragon and wolf, nearly twice the size of a normal wolf. As he turned his head, a silver cross glittered over his right eye, white saber fangs glistening in the sunlight that began stretching across the land he had claimed as his own several years back. The rest of his pack should be waking up now...
