The little phoenix that had perched on the lightning-boy's shoulder twitched its head to the side, much like any other small bird would. It chirped at him again before hopping on his shoulder to huddle up against his neck, drawn by the warmth generated by the electricity that crackled in his hair.

Dravius smiled wanly and gave a little nod. Stepping quickly away from the bright flame, he ran to the nearest tree, and, grabbing the nearest branch vaulted into the shadow depths. His visible eye glowed from the leaves, and he smiled. In shadows, his face seemed more natural, less undead. Turning slowley towards a large shrub laden with white berries, he slunk out along a think limb until he hovered a few feet above it. Grasping the limb with his long toes, Dravius smiled and did a quick 180, until he was only a few inches away from, and face to face with, Rasku. He gently shook the shrubs branches, producing an almost imperceptable noise, and waved his finger mock scoldingly at him.
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

Rasku moved his head to glare at the small pheonix. He was about to shoo it away, but instead rubbed it's head softly. He immeadiatly noticed it was hot to the touch, almost burning the skin on his fingers. His generally harsh-looking eyes had a soft touch to them. Rasku loved most animals, except dogs. Smelly beasts, or so he thought. Rasku's eyes got their harsh glare back as he glanced over at Dravius. He put on a frown, raising an eyebrow.

The phoenix chirped again, then looked up at the new arrival, cocking its head. It moved to flare out its wings, making a very vain attempt at being threatening. He was just too small and cute. The one currently shielding Fialys was big enough to be very threatening, considering it could easily burn down the entire forest with just one wing,

Dravius tilted his head, smile still fixed on his face. His hair hung down as he made a funny face and raised an eyebrow back. He stuck out his tounge and shot out a hand shrouded with a black aura. As he came in contact with Rasku's forehead, a black haze surrounded Raksu's head.
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

The tiny phoenix let out a startled cry, flapping its wings to take off, heading back to its master and creator, Fialys, who held out her hands for it to land on. She cradled the little firebird to her chest, gently stroking its feathers as it tweeted at her before flying off to join the medium sized phoenix that had been there to warm Dravius. The two birds flew around each other, the smaller one flitting around quick and agile, while the larger one moved a bit slower, maneuvering more carefully. It didn't want to cause a forest fire. Yet.

"Hey! Stop that!" Rasku barked. He beamed a hard and serious glare at Dravius. "What did you do?!" He demanded, eyes scanning the haze around his head. He waved a hand through it, attempting to blow it away. "You even scared that innocent little bird away..." Rasku added, watching as the pheonix flew off.
I\'m back.

Dravius lifted a finger shrouded in black and proceeded to write, Are we afraid of the dark? Dravius tilted his head, eyes unfocused and smile vacant and threatening.

After a little bit, the little phoenix, along with the bigger version, flew in out of nowhere, the little phoenix letting out a shrill cry at Dravius, obviously upset at him for disturbing it. The pheonix that had been flying with the little one followed shortly, crying at the man of darkness, the flames that made up its feathers becoming more intense, as was the little one's. Fialys, meanwhile, was wrapped up in the warm cocoon that her giant phoenix had made, beginning to drift off.

"Are we afraid to speak?" Rasku replied, noticing Dravius hadn't said a single word since he'd arrived beside him. Rasku held his frown firmly, his eyes staring directly into Dravius'. In an instant, Rasku's head shifted to glare at the pheonixes.

Dravius turned and bared his teeth, letting out a surprisingly loud hiss for someone with only half of his vocal cords. He hooked his fingers into claws and hissed again, flame-like darkness dancing around him like a demonic halo. And then he turned back to Rasku and swiftly wrote, Try talking without a tounge!

The two phoenixes pretty much yelled at Dravius, starting to flit around him until the giant phoenix lifted its head and called out to them. They obeyed at once, leaving the two males to battle it out, settling themselves against the one who had called them away.

"Hmph, I see." Rasku seemed to take no interest in this fact, but in truth he kept it in mind. He thought Dravius seemed rather... Odd, if that were the word for it. Rasku then watched as the pheonixes were called away, leaving only himself and Dravius.
I\'m back.

Dravius hissed again andhooked his fingers on the branch, crawling upside down on the branch until his short nose was almost touching Rasku's. He tilted his head, looking very much like the cheshire cat as the darkness got deeper and danker, until all that was left was a Dravius shaped shadow.
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

"Enough of your foolish games!" Rasku called out. Since his eyes saw everything brighter than normal due to electricity running through his body, it was hard for him to pick out shadows. Dravius was basically invsible to Rasku, making him very frustrated. He peeked around in all directions, wondering where the boy went.
I\'m back.

The shadow smiled wickedly, and it crept behind Rasku, thin line of white respresenting a mouth. A tendril of black snaked out of the m*censored* and, like a substantial thing, whipped ariund and struck Rasku, leaving a red welt and a wound tinged with sickness. Sudennly the shodw quivered and collapsed, dissapating to reveal a silently weeping Dravius, curled up into a ball.

Rasku turned, about ready to lash out with his full electrical fury when he noticed Dravius in normal form, curled up into a somber ball. 'What's with this!? Attack and then just shrink down?! Nevertheless, I can't strike back while he's in his current state, it just wouldn't be fair.' Rasku sighed, glancing down at Dravius. "Hey, what's the matter?" Rasku asked, knowing something fishy was up.
I\'m back.
