(I just found something out!  In The Dark Knight, when Joker goes into the hospital to 'convert' Harvey Dent, he makes a refrence to The Slit-Mouthed woman!

In the film the dark knight, when the joker is in the hospital dressed as a nurse, he wears a surgical mask. As his mouth is cut from ear to ear, and he is dressed in drag, it would be safe to *censored*ume that this is a direct reference to the legend.

Waking up in a bed, he abruptly sat up, but a sharp pain in his head caused him to lay back down immediatly.

"Ouch...." He grumbled.

"Oh, you've finally awaken? It's been three hours..." The voice said. Alexis glared at the doorway, where he saw a man in a trench coat.

"What the hell do you want?" You know my father will kill you for messing with him like that, but he'll make it even more painful now that you;ve kidnapped his son...." He growled.

"Oh, I'm hardly doen with messing with him. He thinks he's so high and mighty. Hah!" He started walkign in the room, and was lookign at a shiny ob
ject in hsi hand, Alexis couldn't make out.

"He needs to know he's not the one on top," Alexis rolled his eyes. "Right, so your going to backstab your friend, because he's better than you? Smart. And why do you have me? If it's him your messing with, I haven't a clue as to why I should be in your quarrel," Alexis near-snapped.

"Oh, yes. You do. I'm going to get him pissed beyond reason before we meet," "I think you;ve expertely accomplished such. You know he's gonig to kill you, right? Especially when I get out of here. Hell, the only thing keepign me form doing the job myself is the fact, I'd deny Jack the pleasure," For that he recieved a slap.

"Your not so smart, kid...." He sighed. "Did you know I had a daughter?" He said circlign the bed slowly.

"...Should I care?" "Yes. From what I've learned, you are one of two children of Jack," "You don't know that. Hell, I'm not even sure if I'm really Jack's son, and I don't knwo if Toby'd my brother. I heven't any other siblings,"

"Specifics, specifics..." He said. "You, mentally, are the weakest. There is so much power you posess in one hand, that most people would be jelous of. And yet, because of oyur trauma, you fear to unlock them," "No moss growing on you, a ss!" Alexis growled, sitting up.

"That's why you run through male prostitutes, like there's no tomorrow. You can't mentally establish a relationship....It's all about sex with you, isn't it?" "How did you-"

"I like figurin things out. Now. I want to help you with your problem," He laughed.

"....Oh, god...Look, pal, me being your sex toy sounds great and all, but I have crap to do," He said standing up only to be shoved back down on the bed.

"Who said you'd be havign sex with me? Don't think that thought hasen't crossed my mind, but my daughter needs a child," "WHAT?!" Alexis asked, sitting back up straight.

"Yes. I'd love ot have a kid with a complete stranger. And I'll have my father kill it. And the b itch I have it with, Then he'll kill you. Sound fun?" Alexis asked.

"Nope....."

My idea was we skip six years, and start with Jack at a park bench or somethign that involves him being in a place where someoen can walk up to him....)

Jack sighed, his head in his hands as the world around him screamed in terror. He was tired, so tired, as he took his stress and anger out on the city. Buildings were on fire, people were dead, and Batman was nowhere to be found. 

The park bench he sat on was cold beneath him, yet nothing compared to the coldness of his heart the day he found Jack The Ripper. 

A little girl about five years old with long, black hair and a white dress walked over to the bench.  She had big green eyes, and looked a little pale, but other than that adorable.

She had a white piece of paper she had behind her back, and sm,iled widely at Jack.

"Hello,"  She said handing the paper to him.

"Hi, Jack.  It's me, your son.  Alexis.

I can't go back to the mansion for another hour.  Don't want to risk anything right now.  However, take this hour to get aquainted with Elliot.  Your grandaughter. 

What? Jack thought back, flicking his eyes from the paper to the girl.

"Elliot?"He asked, tilting his head at her like a wolf. 

"...Are you Jack?"  The girl asked, tiltign her head too.  She pronounced the words surprisingly well for someoen of her age. 

"Daddy said you's take me to see your house,"  She said.  "Daddy said he wants me to know you!"  She said a little exitedly jumping a little.

"Daddy's an idiot..." Jack muttered, shaking his head.

"Yes, I'm Jack. Nice to meet you, Elliot. But please, don't call me Jack. That's reserved for your father." He added, picking himself up from his place on the bench.

"Let's go," 

"Who hit daddy?!?" Jack near yelled, picking the girl up by her forearms.

"Listen, I might end up having to hurt you, but I want you t know that I'm sorry." 

"Uh..." The girl nervously looked down, not saying anything. 

(Alexis is gonna be pissed when he finds out...)

Jack growled at the girl warningly, lifting her higher.

"Tell. Me." He seethed.
