Elijah Sterling hopped off of his ship and found himself wandering the woods, it had gotten dark and he had run out of food. So he was about to turn back and head back to his ship when he heard a rustling automatically pulling out the pistol from his hip and aiming it in that direction. "Who's there?" He demanded openly.

Maya Jane Evers was watching the mysteriously attractive man from behind the bushes, pushing her long brown curly hair behind her ears as best she could to be able to see him better. Maya began to inch forward to get a better look, doing her best not to create noise, but lost her balance, falling onto her hands and knees. "No please! Don't shoot!"

Elijah blinked keeping his gun locked in place until the girl fell from the bushes. He tilt his head and moved to holster his gun as he approached her. "Very sorry, but are alright, miss" He asked as he knelt down to help her up. "What are you doing out here?" He asked her.

Watching the mans hands very closely to make sure the gun stayed in the holster, Maya gathered herself up with his help and brushed her knees and hands off. "Y..Yes Im ok. Who are you? And why do you have a gun..?" She deliberately didn't answer his question, she wanted to feel like she had the control over the situation. Even though she clearly didn't have control over her own feet, which is why the gorgeous mystery man heard her in the first place.

Elijah watched the girl curiously for a moment before hearing her question. "I am Captain Elijah Sterling,and well I am a pirate. I travel a lot and you never know what could be out there." He looked her over. "Now your turn, who are you? and Are you alright? You need me to escort you anywhere?" He asked though he knew his crew were still waiting on his ship.

Captain she thought for a second. Not just any ordinary pirate looking around, but the captain of the ship. "Nice to meet you Captain Elijah. My name is Maya Jane Evers. You can call me Maya or Maya Jane. Im fine. Im looking for my way out. You see, a few years ago, I was on a ship and it wrecked. There were 3 survivors, and two of them got into a brawl and one ended up dead, then after some time the other went for a swim and never came back." Now she felt like a babbling idiot, but she couldn't help but tell him.

Elijah nodded as the girl introduced herself. "It is a pleasure, lass" He replied with a charming grin. Then tilt his head listening to the Maya's story with a bit of concern. "My goodness sounds like you had quite a hard time, hm?" He shrugged. "Well it wouldn't be very kind to just leave you stranded out here, would it?" He rubbed his chin idly. "Come on I can help you out of here. Of course,I would need something in return for my services." He added as he turned around to face the direction he came. "I believe if we go in this direction. We'll find my ship" He claimed pointing before looking at her and winked.

Maya felt a chill go up her back, as Elijah winked at her. She felt excited, but hesitant. "Something in return?" She wasn't sure what he meant by this, but it did excite her. As she stepped out of the bushes to see the direction he had pointed, she too agreed that would lead back to the main shore. She then turned to him, looked him up and down, and couldn't hold it in, letting out a little blushing smile. "You lead the way, Captain."

Elijah laughed. "Well a man's gotta eat right, it's more of an if I scratch your back you scratch mine kinda deal." He explained as he startled to lead her through the forest. "Well Maya, Do you live far from here?" He wondered as he looked ahead to make sure he was going the right way.

The tall dark-haired man looked down from the ship at the Captain. He then glanced toward the woman and sighed in disgust, hoping that the Captain wouldn't waste any more time. He ran his gloved hand through his hair and tossed a cigarette off the side of the ship.

Maya followed along behind him, "Gotcha. We can figure something out." She felt excited that she finally had her way out of this place. "I kinda live off the land, I have a little hand build spot around here, but its not the best. Resources are difficult to come by I guess." As they kept walking for a ways, she looked out and noticed they were almost to the shore, and she could see his ship. "Wow. Thats a big ship you've got there!"

Elijah walked ahead and smiled as they neared the shore and his ship. "Ah, well that is exciting we are kinda the same in that aspect." He replied. "And thank you. It was actually my father's I sort of stole from him when I was sixteen." He told her. He then looked up at the railing of the ship smiling up at the other. "Hey, don't look at me like that, the girl was lost. You know I can't ignore a damsel in distress. We'll just take her to civilization, sound fair?" He asked him.

Damsel in distress Maya thought. Sure she might have been one, but she still was a tough cookie. She looked up at the man on the ship, "I promise I'll try not to bite," she said with a wink. Maya returned her gaze to Elijah, she again was taken back by his looks, "Stole it hmm? I bet that didn't go over very well." Maya turned around to look at the lonely land one more time, as she might never be returning, which was for the best, before swinging back around looking at Elijah with questioning eyes. "How are we getting up on that ship anyways?"

Korvel glanced down at the Captain and the lady, and leaned over the edge to peer at them better. As he lit another cigarette, he called out to them, "It took you long enough! But I still won't say I am completely convinced it will be a good idea to bring her along, no matter how long she's staying." He threw a rope ladder over the side of the ship, causing it to tumble down in a cascade of fraying rope, allowing the others to climb aboard the ship.

Willow moved stealthily through the branches, moving from tree to tree. She paused for a moment to check her belt to make sure her dagger was still there, then she kept going. She heard voices, and frowned. How could she have not found out about this sooner? She moved closer and looked down at them. She crawled up the tree like a spider, gripping the bark with her bare feet. She thought for a good minute, before leaping down the twelve feet from the tree to the ground. She landed silently in front of the people, in a crouching position. She held out her dagger. "Who are you?"
