((ok)) Lin thought she heard a rustle up in the trees and went to investigate. She climbed a tree and jumped from branch to branche until she found a girl sitting on the branch. She crawled over to her. "Hi." She said in her childish voice smiling.

Ryu shrank back from the stranger, a look of fear pas.sing over her pale face. She stayed silent, her slim hands hugging the rough bark of the tree as she looked downwards at the girl. The girl was young, about 9 or 10, and Ryu didn't feel so afraid of her, but she remained cautious and stayed in her tree, waiting for the girl to make the first move.

Lin noticed how the girl was acting. She sat on the branch and smiled. "I won't hurt you i don't know how." She smiled holding her hand out. "Im Lin." She said happily

Ryu flinched and climbed upwards nimbly, looking down at the girl with a look of apprehension on her face. "Ryu," she whispered, though not another word pas.sed by her lips. Her voice was soft, almost unintelligable for it was so quiet.

Ryu sighed, Another nosy little girl, she thought despairingly, giving Lin a withering glance. She grasped the branch she was sitting on and slipped off it smoothly, dropping to the forest floor without a sound.

Lin watched her fall and decided it was time to go home. She jumped down and ran back to her house. "Mommy i'm home!." Lin called sitting on the couch

Ryu glanced at the girl as she ran off, deciding to follow her. She trailed Lin silently, like the girl's own shadow, until Lin reached the house, where she stopped outside uncertainly, keeping to the dark shadows under the eaves.

Teresa perked up when Lin arrived. She smelled something on the young wolf shifter. A deep warning growl rose from her throat and she swung her head in the direction that the scent came from, pale eyes watching carefully.
"She was with another wolf shifter." Teresa answered for Lin. "Can't you smell it?"
