Ouka panted, "More? I can try, but...." He breathed in deeply and dove back intoher memory vault. He decided to give up watching them and just release any hidden memory he found, not even caring if it meant she remembered his old job... ((the pack leader made him torchure wolves' minds if they didn't listen to him and he would also have to erase memories))

Fayte was walking through the forest,her wings clean for the first time in ages,and it felt good.Fayte tried to chase after some deer,but a pain in her stomach reminded her of her expectancy,Is this what it is like?she thought,Not being able to chase down your own food....? ((Oh noes,bad dreams about expecting pups!!))

( *le gasp!!*) Medina struggled to remain upright as the stream of memories turned into a tidal wave that crashed through her head. when she opened her eyes again, they were filled with momentary horror. "You-and the leader-" She stuttered. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes again. she rolled every little htought over in her head considering the reasons behind every little action. True, Ouka had done terrible things, but could those things not be made up in the future? More than being horrified by the memories of his misdeeds, Medina strongly remembered the memories of days spent in sunlit clearings, playing pup games without a care in the world. that was the Ouka she wanted to remember, the Ouka that was standing in front of her now was the same. The wolf from the pack was someone else entirely. This was what Medina kept in her thoughts as she opened her eyes again. She spoke four words, "I don't care anymore."

Fayte slipped out from under Lyanti and stood up,stretching her legs,and walked over to the den she had made so long ago..Walking over the a shelf,and blowing off dust,she saw the carving she had made even longer ago still.This place needs patching up...She closed her eyes,and in minutes,the den was as good as new.As Fayte waited for the drain that was sure to come,she had another doubt,Will it be safe enough here for our pups..?When the drain came,it left her on her knees,fighting to stay consious,It wasn't this bad last time...That's right,I haven't eaten since this morning,and the pups-She went unconsious as the energy lost was just too much....

"It's why most of us left.... The pack is half the size it used to be." She turned around to walk the way she had come. "I'm going to get something to eat." she began walking when she paused and said, "you know, now that I have my memories back, I can still say that I missed you."

Lyanti woke when he noticed that Fayte wasn't there anymore. He got up and sniffed the air, searching for the most recent trail. He found it and followed it back to the den. The air grew tense as he went in and he picked up the pace. When he found Fayte collapsed on the ground he rushed over to her, whimpering in concern. He suddenly noticed that the den looked different... new somehow. he whimpered again, muttering, "You idiot..." Unable to do anything else, he pulled up some water form the ground to form a small pool next to her head. he then left the den to find something to hunt. Not wanting to waste any time, he went after the irst thing he saw which happened to be a feisty badger. It put up a bit of a fight, scratching several marks into Lyanti's head before it died, but it mattered little to him. He carried the corpse back to the den, laying it next to the pool. Then he settled down next to her to wait.... it was all he could do...

Ouka smiled and said, "Let me get you something, it'll only take a sec," he said running off in the direction of a herd of deer he had sensed when he looked for her location. Stopping, he said, "If or when you run across my new pack...please keep in mind, they don't know what I've done..." Then he took off, easily taking down a deer with his mind and then began to drag it back to the clearing.

Fayte woke up and looked up into the concered eyes of Lyanti,"How many times do I have to fall unconsious before you realize,that I am fine?"She heaved herself up,still weak,and licked his nose,careful to avoid any injuries,"Thank you."She drank her fill from the pool of water,then chowed on the badger,before sliding it over to Lyanti,with quite a bit of meat left,"Here."
